Chrissy Chrissy!!! Yesss she is your server !!! What a beautiful and caring person inside and out! I love everything about our lunch because of her !! Denny’s you guys need to reward such a great server with fine, pristine service! She new exactly what I wanted, took the words right out of my mouth ! The food came out quick and she continuously made sure that my drinks were never in need! Always with a smile and her energy was electric! I gave her a huge tip and as we walked out I gave a friendly acknowledgement goodbye. The universe definitely brought her in my path that day! Very sweet and kind person thank you so much love !!!

Our server Yuranhi T did not pay attention to us once she gave us our food she never came back to check on us until she gave us the check we needed more refills and she obviously did not care until we asked another server Joshua to get us more refills and also our server had such a nasty attitude I will not be coming back here again and I’m telling all my coworkers, family and friends and plus my friend got a egg shell in his fit slam eggs

I’ve being nice putting two stars the server we got today was rude. She was too worried about going on her break she brought us something we do not ask for and then came back with something else we didn’t ask for. And she forgot my eggs which comes with the country friend steak and eggs.
And she charges us for the dinner country fried steak.

Great service the food was amazingly good it had good presentation and the waiter Johnny did great service always coming to the table and asking for everything was ok helping us with everything we need overall best service

My favorite person Joshua… always gives amazing service. We eat here because of his service. Plus my mother likes. If she like him then we know his restaurant is the place to eat!!! Only if he’s working though!!! Thanks Joshua!

Worst Denny’s ever first they over cook my food, then they under cook it. Then they bring back same meal undercooked. Head to bathroom with cousin who is 4 and waitress decides to cut in front of us with customers. Already feeling sick from one piece of chicken. Left meal and we still paid for it.

The Food was prepared to our liking. Had a Bacon and Guacamole Hamburger the char reminded me of a diner style burger, real tasty. The chicken Strips were nicely fried and the honey mustard dressing was excellent. There were 2 salads ordered and both were of nice size and I was told they tasted great. The waitress Melanie M was very nice and kind. she took care of our wants and requests with a smile. She also was our cashier and was very personable. Melanie M is an asset to Denny’s. the back dining room has quite a display of model airplanes and pictures, would make any veteran proud.

Location is understaffed for how busy it is. I’m not an unreasonable person but if I’m waiting a solid 30 mins (already seated and placed my order) to get some breakfast, I expect it to be hot. I ordered the American Slam and my wife ordered French Toast Slam, not difficult orders by any means. My eggs and hashbrowns were luke warm, bacon was a bit colder than the rest of the dish, and my toast was an after thought. Luckily my toast, again after being forgotten, was hot when it came out. My wife was OK with her food but I’m assuming it’s cause she was just hungry. It’s obvious that our food had been ready for a little while, just no one around to serve it. So –1 star for cold food, –2 star for lack of service/​nonexistent service. Food was pretty decent though, albeit cold. My advice, if this place is busy find another location.

Food was great. I had the veggie omelette. Our waitress was rude. Her name is Aurora. I was handing the kids their plates as she passed them to me, when I took too long to grab the next one she slid it to me on the table. She slammed my hot chocolate on the table. And when she asked if we needed anything else she said it with an annoyed tone. Restaurant was nice and neat!

Cheerful, prompt service with clean, comfortable booths and consistent good comfort food. Better than our last visit and I love the Loaded Veggie omlet! The prime rib Club Salad was excellent!

As a general rule, because I am a chef myself, I will take into consideration where I’m eating. Denny’s hasn’t been a norm for since my early high school years, for obvious reasons. That being said, I came in out of necessity and not necessarily as a desire. A quick brunch will do me well before another long shift.
Surprisingly, the kitchen here has stepped up their game since I last rolled through here two years ago, and have no complaints to mention in their craft.
However, I was distraught to see that the servers were literally RUNNING. Having been a server myself at one point in my life, I know that when I’m running on the floor, for lack of better terms, «shit has hit the fan.» Hire more servers, and I’m sure you’ll have more regulars.

I had lower expectations about coming here for breakfast. My wife wanted an inexpensive breakfast, so we tried here. I was pleasantly surprised. We both ordered off of the senior menu. Our food was cooked great, the omelet was stuffed with ingredients, the hash browns perfect. We were seated right away, our server, Brianna, came quickly and it was a short wait for our food. For what it is, we were very happy and will come back.

Not much to say about this place. I got a double cheeseburger and it was delicious!
I got a bit annoyed because I asked them to add bacon to my burger but there was none in there! So I’m taking 1 star off for not being careful.

This is the WORST Denny’s that I have ever been to they have THE SLOWEST service that o I’ve ever experienced!!! We came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30 to February some breakfast before church, we waiting about 20 min to be seated… To be expected on a Sunday. Once we were finally seated it took 20 min to even get our drink order taken I had to get the hostesses attention to even get that done, eventually our waitress Ana took our order she’s a super sweet older lady, but it still took another 20 min for our food to come… needless to say we missed church the food was normal Denny’s fare, but again service sucked they need to get it together!

Horrible location. Bad customer service and the food was overcooked. When they sat us they gave us just one menu. You have to request the 2,4,6,8 menu at this location. And when you do ask for it they glare at you and look at you like your stupid. Seriously uncomfortable. They took over 30 minutes to take our order and never checked on us the entire hour and a half we were stuck there. Took forever to get refills, and we could see the staff standing around talking in the back and not helping the whole 3 parties of people in the entire restaurant. After sitting at the table with our completely empty plates stacked for another 30 – 35 minutes they finally decide to stop playing around and give us our checks. Completely unprofessional, and lazy, lazy service. Better off at the Denny’s in the carlsbad village or the one off of college blvd. stay away from this location.

Don’t have unreasonable expectations here and you won’t be disappointed.
I come for the breakfast, nothing else. It’s the one thing on the menu that is made fresh and not from frozen (except the potatoes). Besides, it’s really hard to mess up breakfast.
Had a great experience in here this am. Quick to get sat. Friendly service from our server, food was hot, yummy and came out quickly.

Good service for a busy location. This Dennys is way better than the San Marcos location.

I’ve always loved this location since I was a kid. There’s something really cozy about it. My friends and I came here the other night after deciding to boycott ihop but still craving diner food.
The middle eastern/​Indian (?) man who looked like the manager took us to our table and he was really warm and sweet.
The restaurant was pretty busy, it was a rainy Friday night which seemed to draw in the crowds that had come from their Christmas shopping.
I’ve always loved that Denny’s has the $ 2,$ 4,$ 6,$ 8 menu. There are some really decent sized meals you can get for a good price. I ordered the burger from the $ 6 menu which came with fries (.59 extra for seasoned). My boyfriend ordered a build your own omelette, my other friend ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich (he said it was surprisingly extremely tasty).
Our server was rude. Don’t remember her name, she had braces and long dark hair and ignored us every time she would walk by… but of course was flirting heavily with the military men seated right behind us. Anyways, our food took a pretty long time to come out but like I said it was all enjoyable. One thing I regret was asking for the seasoned fries. I assumed they would have that yummy orange salt on them, but instead they were cooked in a curly fry-​like batter and I don’t like curly fries for that exact reason so oh well I learned my lesson.
Overall I do love Denny’s and this location always brings back childhood memories. My stomach is always satisfied when I leave. Service could definitely be better but eh oh well.

I got here at 12:40. It took th waitress until 1:00 to take our order. She brought our drinks 15 minutes later. Without appetizers.
There are maybe 6 other people here.
Terrible service. The waitress didnt even introduce herself.
I will never recommend this location to anyone. And I will not return.
