Terrible, terrible excuse for a bar. The bouncers are rude and frequently have power trips. They randomly charge covers only for CERTAIN people (most likely the bouncer is just pocketing the money). The place has an overwhelming stench of urine that you can smell from across the street. I hope this place is shut down soon, it’s an ugly blemish on this town. Do NOT come here, whatever you do.

I was attacked by the bouncer and I required hospitalization. He’s up for assault charges, but he still works there, along with a number of other shady characters.
Stay away from this bar, if you value your life.

This place is the shit, not sure what the reviews are talking about!!! First of all every bartender that I have come across here has been super personable here even when they are busy & they are really creative with the drinks just tell them what you like.
They have a dj every night at 9 some days 10ish. The crowd here varies depending on what night you come in and what time. Early evenings its older with some tourists and a nice variation of people, later in the night well who knows:)
They also take care of service industry & military here as well with daily deals just ask! If you come Friday night shots of fireball only $ 4!!! This is a great place to come after work for a drink and unwind & let loose by yourself or with friends always a good time!!!

First time going to a bar in Oceanside, and it was terrible. People were not good looking, drinks were pricey, and there was an unnecessary cover charge to even get in to this place. I will give an extra star to my bartender whom was awesome, but the bar and environment itself is pretty lame. Back to PB and gaslamp!

As far as bar dive bars go, this one was pretty cool. It was busy, couldn’t get a pool table. But the dance floor was fun and the bartenders were very friendly. Much prefer it to the other nightlife spots in downtown. Felt like the cover charge was unnecessary… but otherwise, fun place.

Between the «accidental» killings the drunken staff pulling
Knifes on people, thee ENTIRE staff drunk or on drugs, allowing people they hire to roofie their costumers the
slew of cops around aiding the undercovers this place puts the shit in shit show & then they like to blame the costumers! lmao this place is a joke & going down quickly so unless you wanna score some dope or be blamed for their down fall I recommend staying away from this shit show

FWS… what can I say, this is my goto spot when in Oside… it’s just the right mix of different types of people… from locals (all most all locals, I might be the only out of towner come to think about it) causal, business dress, it’s all there… I typically will meet a few clients here after a long day to discuss the days events… I’ve never once had a bad experience at this bar, and I’ve put in some time. The bar tenders are super friendly and can make a drink. My recommendation if you are mixed drink drinker… go tall, all the time… it’s well worth it. The bouncers are super chill as well. One bouncer is actually from my home town a million miles away from Oside… what a small world. Anyhow, the nights I’ve been to this bar they’ve had a live DJ spinning a verity of good music. One tip… if driving… you might want to park a block or two or three over. Great place… I will see you again when I’m back in town–

I just learned about one of their bouncers facing man slaughter charges for killing one of their customers. How this place is still open is beyond me. I’m not sure anyone should support a business with this type of history. Unreal!

My cousin is here from Missouri and so we made plans to hangout. She wanted to get a Vegas bomb and so we walked and found your place. It seemed chill. People were playing pool and seemed to be having a good time. The tunes were pretty good. As soon as Notorious was spinning, I got a spurt of energy off that (: Thanks for being good to us. This place is horrible! I’m a black woman and I’m in Oceanside visiting for the weekend with my bf who’s also black and a marine. We walked in this bar around 3pm and sat at the bar intending to have drinks and play pool. The female bar tender looked at us and walked down the bar and started having a conversation with another bar patron. I assumed he was there first so we waited. 5 mins later I try to get her attention as she’s swapping phones with the guys, laughing and flirting. She looks at us, rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to the guys. Then a white couple came in and sat down and the bar tender went over to them immediately. At that point we left. I’m actually glad the service sucked there because We ended up going to Treemont and had the best drinks and service. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly.

Many times in OC, this was my first visit to Fire Water.
Pool tables and a stage make up the main room.
The bartender on this particular afternoon was a sweetheart, mixing cocktails and serving beers during a Chargers game.
In a neighborhood saturated with bars, this is one of the best to check out!

My very first time at this bar, I got charged 4 times for two shots of Jack Daniels that cost $ 55.00 ! Can you imagine that? The bartender was a female who lied about me ordering more than the two shots and she charged my card multiple times… I tried talking to a manager who didnt believe what I said and o eventually got kicked out of the bar. The bathroom is nasty and their customer service is the worst. Dont ever go there and if you do make sure to use cash because they are criminals ready to steal from you!

The staff who works here is a bunch of rude egotistical jerks who hangout like goons on the sidewalk in front of the bar! They think they can dictate where you can park on a public street and then will try to make you feel uncomfortable about leaving your car next to their bar! Thank you for chasing away potential customers who are in the area for a good time tonight! It’s only a matter of days until your shitty bar ends up on Bar Rescue! For the security guard who flicked a cigarette at my lady’s open window when I drove away you are a complete bitch who has no right being a security guard cause you are a huge liability for the bar if that would have hit her we would have pressed charged against you as well as the business owner!

Not a fan of the bar scene in North County– Fire Water Saloon and Cabo Grill are probably as good as it gets.
No dress code, you can come in dressing as ratchet as possible, you’ll blend in just fine. All types of people, from thugs, to jarheads, to teenagers who probably used a fake, to creepy grandpas.
This place has two pool tables and a dancefloor in the back corner. I’ll give them one thing: their live DJ is always crackin’ (hip-hop, twerk, old school jams).
Full service bar with friendly bar tenders. If you don’t mind ghetto, this is your best bet.
There’s a $ 5 cover here, which I don’t understand.
