Excellent pizza, and even better service! It was late, but we placed a to go order and said we would pick it up after we checked into our hotel room. We arrived back to pick up our order and didn’t know it was right at closing time. The workers never hesitated to make us feel welcome. They even had waited to complete our salad until we got there because they had run out of croutons and gave us several other options before packing up the order. Five stars for food and service!

It was a neat pizza joint near the pier in Oceanside. They had a great selection of beverages for everyone.

Went here with my SIL after the last Bike the Coast event and both of our pizzas(Slow Ride & Stairway to Heaven) were delicious. They have a short but sweet menu. We didn’t try their salads. They had a decent selection of beers and some ice cream as well, if I remember correctly. It was convenient to the pier and part of the local hotel there, which just meant that if you needed to use the restrooms, you had to use the hotel’s restrooms out in the hotel lobby. Very casual, California-beach vibe. I can’t wait to go again next time I’m in the SD North County area.

Place is alright, the bros that work there are waaaaay to cool to be working there tho I mean come on, they got better things to do like get stoned and tell surfing stories lol. Dude put corn on my pizza, wtf bro who asked for corn? I agree with another person on here it takes way to long for them to get pizzas out, this is the same thing as pieology or any of those other 5 min pizza places, speed it up homies/bros.

We stayed in the building it was located in and decided to try it after we got in one night. We were surprised at how good it was. Very well priced for what you get. for $ 8.50 you can get a pretty good pizza. We liked the ZZTop and the Albino pizza with shrimp. We ended up eating it again before we left. The only thing that was negative was the overbearing smell from the ovens.

This place is disgusting, and if you’re a person of color, good luck getting service before white people, even if you were there first and waited a loooooooooooong time before anyone else showed up. What’s worse, the two employees were only just chatting and not working at all. Two pizza-employees and neither was doing anything at all, never bothered to take any orders or ask if we needed help, despite the fact that I was standing there a long time with two hungry toddlers. Group of white people showed up later, and they were served while we were left standing there. What more is there to explain?

This was one of the worst services I’ve ever had! My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night at around 7. We ordered two personal pizzas, a salad, and two root beers. We paid for the order and I asked the guy at the register how long he thought the food would be ready and he said about 20 mins. We sat down and 20 minutes later rolls by and all I have is just my warm root beer to sip on, which I was hoping to save for the pizza! I figured it was a Friday night during dinner time so hopefully it’ll only be a few more minutes. I patiently waited and about 10 minutes later our salad finally comes out. Seriously? 30 minutes for a salad? We were so hungry that we inhaled our salad and again sat there waiting for our pizza. At this point, we were just watching the servers walk back and forth trying to figure out where the orders were going. I could see that they would forget what number and would have to keep going back to the their terrible ticketing system to get the number. 20 minutes later and our pizzas arrive. A total of 50 minutes waiting for our pizzas. And no apology about the wait from anyone. The pizzas were good, but I definitely would NOT wait 50 minutes for them! It still seems like they’re getting lots of customers in, but the waits are just ridiculous. Another Unilocaler mentioned Pizza Press in Old Town Orange. The owners really need to check it out, it’s the best pizza and they got the whole service down and don’t have their customers waiting an hour for their food. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here again.

first time here and it was pretty good. since it is next to the beach, you have to park at a parking meters so remember to bring change! The pizzas are good. I ordered the one without meat. My pizza was baked a little bit too long so the crust became dry and hard. My pizza didn’t have much vegetables so I was kind of disappointed. What I liked about the place is that the interior is well suited for casual people. there are tons of variety of drinks in the fridge. I saw some people just come in just for the drinks. I recommend people to try this place out. I still want to try their salad because it looks really good. I’m sure to get salad next time I come here!

Went here tonight for first time with a friend and it was good. Personal pizzas starting at $ 8.50 that you can choose from ZigZag specialties or build your own; there are also salads available. They also have refrigerator cases to go pick out your beverage and the choices are countless. They also have beer & wine. The place is urban-industrial décor and cool tunes playing in the background to suit everyone’s taste. The employees were all friendly and accommodating if you needed anything. They only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because all the seats are metal stools(with no backs on them) — which can be hard on people needing their backs supported — like me. Other than that, I will recommend them.

Surprising good for a storefront. Friendly service. Love that everything is über fresh. Great drink selection. Lots of beers and wines in single serve offerings. Great fresh salad. Sweet emotion with basil and n Spinach and seeds and goat cheese. Lemon basil dressing. Yum Margaritaville pizza with protein. Nice size. Cooked nicely. Very fresh. Lots of options or just create your own.

I love the atmosphere of this place! Great quality pizza! I came here twice during my time here in Oceanside. I got the Good Vibrations both times. I would recommend this place to anyone cussing oceanside. It’s affordable and just the right amount of pizza.

Great little pizza joint located on the first floor of a hotel right on Pacific. Another fast-casual concept. Went with The Number One Hit, Mozzarella, fresh garlic, fresh basil, tomato sauce. Very good thin crust pizza made to order. Cooked perfectly, crispy crust with fresh toppings. We enjoyed it very much. For the salad we chose Sweet Emotion. Quinoa, spinach, cucumber, red onion, sunflower seeds, cranberries, avocado, lemon mint dressing. Made fresh and it showed. The dressing was light and balanced. Lastly, great selection of beers and nonalcoholic drinks. All in, $ 32 for pizza, salad, two beers and lemonade. Hopefully they’ll open a location in Vegas.

Good pizza for a good price. Love the cheesy sauce option and all the good veggie toppings! The salad we got, China Girl, was superb and the portion was really big. For two hungry eaters you can get away with one pizza and one salad for sure. We got two pizzas so we could have leftovers. The Good Vibrations, basically a Hawaiian with habanero chutney, was super yummy. It’s fun to pick your own craft beer and/or craft soda from their well stocked coolers. Fun vibe with shared tables and classic rock. We’ll be back!

It was OK. A little on the spendy side $ 10 for my salad, but in all fairness huge portion. Would rather have had smaller portion smaller price. They have pizza and chop salads and that’s it. I was hoping for a bread type something on the side of the salad but nope, not an option. Lots of different drink selections and they sell ice. Yes ice. Anyway, very nice décor and seating arrangements. Very clean. I will try it again sometime but wasn’t necessarily blown away by any means.

We took a bike ride from Carlsbad to ZigZag Pizza in Oceanside. By the time we arrived we were famished, hot, and thirsty. It’s a build your own pizza/salad place where pizzas are around $ 8 – 9 and there are refrigerators filled with beer and other cold drinks. The pizza was hot and crispy thin crust — I can’t remember my exact topping combination, but it was lots of veggies and goat cheese(yay, no casein like cows milk!). There are small tables and also a large communal one that seats around 20 people comfortably. Very casual, owned by the Cohn Family Restaurants company:
Will stop by for a quick and inexpensive lunch or dinner in the future!

We were craving pizza. So after a quick Unilocal search around the area we settled on ZIGZAG, which if you didn’t know is a Coehn Restaurant(same owners as 333 which is right next door). Location is great, near the pier, on the other side of the train tracks. We walked there. We ordered: — make your own pizza with chicken mushroom, mozzarella, and the cheese sauce — Hotel California Salad(Iceburg lettuce, chopped apple, cucumber, sunflower seeds, carrots, almonds, dried cranberries, acai yogurt vinaigrette) Ok, so I was not amazed by the salad. I found it to be a lil soggy and dressing was on the side. Maybe I am not a fan of iceberg lettuce. I dunno, I didn’t like it. Portion size for the salad was big though! And the salad dressing: acai yogurt vinaigrette was good. The pizza was delicious though! But it does come in an awkward size of it’s a bit much for one person but not enough for 2 people. Hence why we ordered a salad. They had a big beer selection, and a variety of glass bottled sodas, it was pretty cool. I tried a pineapple soda. I would come back for the pizza.
