I just had Erin put coral/​rose gold highlights in my hair, and trim up my pixie cut. She did a wonderful job. I was so apprehensive because I have had a hard time finding someone new after my stylist of 10 years moved away. She made me feel at ease and listened to what I wanted, but also made suggestions which were helpful. They are a little pricey, but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

Got exactly what I didn’t want!
I have shoulder length straight hair that I curl into a wave look each day. After much research (literally hours) I found what sounded like the solution to not having to curl my hair each day, a beach wave perm. I watched YouTube videos, read reviews, and found cherry bomb provided the service. I texted them and yes, they were sure it would work in my hair and were very experienced, they said. I show up for my appointment and the stylist tells me she did one last night and it didn’t work and she won’t do them any longer but has another solution she is sure will be great and will result in the look the pics we looked at were, including my current look. Reluctantly I asked questions and we discuss for 10 – 15 minutes. I finally agree because at least 5 times she says she is sure. She does her thing, I’m nervous, she keeps talking me down. She finishes it and it is exactly what I don’t want. I hold back tears and she says it will be good in a couple days. A week later it isn’t. I texted her, called the salon and spoke and texted with the owner. My hair is a spiral 80s perm. I requested my money back and was refused. This service was $ 100. Plus I gave a $ 20 tip. Both have only offered to do a smooth service, putting my hair back to was it was but now with serious damage and more chemicals! Needless to say, I had to contact my bank and I will NEVER go back or refer anyone. Worst customer service ever! I was sandbagged and now have no choice but to curl over this mess every day!

Called and left a message for a last minute appointment, they got back to me that afternoon and got me booked for the very next day. Erin did my hair and she was super awesome and did a great job! Can’t wait to go back!

I have called this salon for an appointment 3 different times, years apart. They have yet to return my call in what I consider a timely manner. Is it unfair to expect a return call with 24 hrs? In most businesses I am familiar with it is an expectation that you listen to messages first thing in the morning and return those calls promptly. Very poor customer service in my opinion!

This has to be THE best salon around. They are very knowledgeable and help you feel very comfortable. They fixed what another local salon had done and it looks tremendously better! I would recommend this salon to everyone.

I did the one thing stylist always tell you NOT to do but you always think «what can it hurt?». I attempted to bleach and dye my hair from home. Oh curse my stubbornness! 6 hours later i hopped out of the shower to find my hair to be (what should have been blue) shades of purple, gray, brown and what can only be described as bleh. When my at home hair dying experiment went awry i didn’t know what to do. I wrapped my hair in a turban and began asking friends for advice.
My dear friend Kristin had won a hair coloring package from the salon and her red hair was gorgeous! I contacted cherry bomb and they got me in as quickly as possible. I was nervous to say the least, afraid my hair would be fried and fall out or i would have to give up and just go back black.
The stylist Natasha Mead was so nice. She understood exactly what i wanted to to, walked me through the process and shared some laughs as well. A few hours later i looked into the mirror at a beautiful shade of blue, the exact color i wanted! It even had pretty highlights of lighter blue in it just like the photo i showed her. Mermaid hair success!
Not only did Natasha get me to the blue i wanted but she also gave me a deep conditioning and a trip to restore my hair. My locks feel healthier then they ever have and i couldn’t be happier with the color. I don’t think i will ever be going to anyone else EVER. And for anyone wanting to do their hair at home, DON’T and go to cherry bomb instead!

I was lucky enough to win a salon package to Cherry Bomb Salon at the Indie Ogden first birthday bash. It was for hair color, a designer cut, designer style, and pedicure and facial waxing. (I didnt use the pedicure or waxing, since I do those on my own– but they were nicely offered!) I was pretty excited considering the last time I’ve had my hair professionally colored was over 7 years ago. I’ve also struggled to find a stylist in Utah that I connected with and trusted fully with my hair, so I made my appointment with Natasha; the junior stylist, and strolled in for my pampering.
The first thing I noticed was how cozy the salon was. Its two stylist stations, a seating area (where they offered me bottled water), and the hair washing station. It is clean and bright, and comfortable; and Natasha and Nikole brightly greeted me and made me feel welcome right away. I felt entirely confident in my cut, they asked a lot of questions and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. My color came out exactly as I had dreamed, and she had a lot to contend with, as it had previously been blue, blonde, and I had 2 inches of brown roots. Despite that, the color looks uniform and natural.
My hair wash was the nicest I’ve ever had, it was so relaxing and felt like a massage at the same time. I had a deep conditioning treatment that left my hair feeling like silk, and they use Pravana products which really seemed to have a great effect on my dry previously color damaged ends. My husband also commented how fabulous it smelled. Natasha gave me the lovely layers I was hoping for, and thinned my hair out which saves me product, styling time, and drying time without losing any volume or style.
YesterdayI brought my sister in for a haircut and we were once again wowed by the gorgeous designer haircut. Nickole gave her just the style she was looking for, and took some of the weight off her head, as hair is so thick and long it was giving her a headache. Nickole thinned it out without making it look thin or scraggly.
Nickole recently returned from a training session in Florida where 30 stylists started and only 5 were left at the end– they were tested on many technical skills and Nickoles abilities proved quite worthy. Pravana products are also cruelty-​free, paraben-​free, sulfate free, and eco-​conscious, while still providing fantastic results. I enjoy every time I come into the salon– Nickole is SO friendly and sweet, and I really like talking to her and hearing more. Her technical skills match her resume. My sister and I are both thrilled with our hair, and I cant remember the last time I’ve looked forward to getting my hair cut.
One note: the salon is smaller, its not really the place to bring your kids. You certainly CAN and Nickole was so great with my daughter (she gave her some hair tinsel which absolutely thrilled her!) but there just isnt much space for kids to wander without being in the way (not what you want during a haircut) and no space to put anything for them to play with– so I really advise leaving them at home if you can. They dont dislike kids, they just cant 100% accomidate them.
After years of searching and disappointment I have finally found a salon I can not only trust, but afford. I highly recommend Cherry Bomb salon and I hope anyone looking for a new style will give this local salon a shot. I know I’m already looking forward to my next appointment.
