I love getting my hair done at Ogden Organix! Amanda Strong is very easy and comfortable to work with; she communicated all my options and I felt like I was in good hands. I get so many compliments on my affordable hair color and cut :)

I had a «basic-​manicure» and a «basic-​pedicure». They both include a light massage, which feels amazing!
Maria is very sweet and attentive. She did a wonderful job with my nails. I really appreciate her asking me if I was pleased, or if I wanted anything to be corrected before moving to the remaining steps (during the manicure).
She offered me water and asked if I was comfortable (quite a few times) throughout the session.
The salon is super clean, tidy, with nice décor and a relaxing atmosphere. The soothing music was awesome, specially while I was enjoying both of my massages.
I had the chance to meet Jorie (massage therapist) and Amanda (cosmetologist). They are both really nice and friendly.
The prices are reasonable and well worth it. This salon is amazing and I will totally recommend it!
* Note that they are so good, they tend to be almost completely booked. So you really need to schedule an appointment in advance.

As good as it gets! That is exactly right! I had an old friend who recently started working at this salon, Charity had never cut or colored my hair before and had only recently graduated cosmetology school so to be honest I was a little apprehensive… as I LOVE my hair and take great measures to make sure it’s pretty close to perfect! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Charity and the owner of the salon. Charity immediately put me in the chair and began working. She and I looked over a few pictures and she went over what she was going to do. Every step of the way she would explain what she was doing and why (which puts me at ease when it comes to a lot of chopping). I was relaxed and enjoying my time with her, and the other employees of the salon. The environment is very zen and a lot of fun. Everyone who came in was friendly and energetic and taken care of as if they were the most important client of the day. Charity took her time and after a few hours I was amazed! She took my personality, the idea I had for my hair and completley transformed my plain hair into amazing hair! I received a cut, color and style and could not be any happier with it! Her skills are impeccable and her ideas and charm just add to the perfection! I will always return to the salon and will recommend it to everyone!
And along with it being a salon, they do nails, massage and reflexology! Anyone could easily spend a day pampering themselves at this hidden Ogden gem!

Being that I am a supporter of everything Organic the name of this salon is what brought me in! Starting with the first phone call I started to get a little put off as the number is for a cell phone of the owner who almost never answers the phone leaving it up to you to leave a message and wait for a call back. Once I received the call the owner was very friendly and I was able to get in the same week that I called so that was good. Upon arrival to the salon I have to say I was expecting a more professional looking staff, I try not to judge a book by its cover but it is hard sometimes. I was introduced to my stylist she was disheveled to say the least, but very nice. I was asked if I wanted some organic tea which I accepted. I had my long hair cut and colored it turned out pretty good not what I had asked for but that seems to be the normal these days. I should add that I’m pretty easy to please in the hair department and that I had not had my hair cut or colored in over a year so pretty much anything was a big improvement. I had never asked about price but I expected it to be around $ 60 – 75 and it was $ 80 so $ 100 with tip and I felt for the level of experience from my stylist that was a little steep. What I really liked were the various lines of organic hair care products I bought another $ 75 worth so the owner gave me a deal on that as I had spent so much that day which was nice of her! Come to find out the salon is moving two doors down into the old little cherry blossoms building so that is why the current salon and workers looked the way they did. I believe they should be moved into the new location by November 2012. I will be back to see them again…
