Quaint little English place. We asked for a up of tea and scones. They came with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Yummy. Stocked up on English food, conversation and enjoyed a few laughs.

2 stars for yummy black tea and cheap breakfast prices, but watched as my scrambled eggs and bacon were each cooked in a microwave. If you expect a real breakfast that is cooked on a stove, not the place for you. Is that how she usually cooks all the food on the menu?

What a quaint, unassuming place! Had a lovely, simple eggs and bacon breakfast, but the highlight was talking with the proprietress. A lovely woman who has managed to sustain her little tea room for 37YEARS in a small town. She just lit up when I asked how she came to land in Ojai. Next vacation will certainly have us stopping in. Not too many places to have breakfast and beverage for two people for less than $ 20! The conversation alone is worth it!

I have gone here two times and there is a old lady always working why she is still working? I don’t know and don’t think she should be very slow on getting our food and I do not think she likes change as far as her restaurant goes yes it’s cute ok antique but seriously bad service here and slow just give your self a break and do not go here, I rather go to Bonnie Lu’s where the service is great and awesome ! Restaurant needs a re model and other staff here then it could be better. Kinda feel bad for the old lady

I stumbled across this little gem in Ojai while shopping on the weekend. Despite its small and unassuming environment, the Plaza Pantry is truly an incredible slice of authentic Brit culture and cuisine. The bangers and Shepherds Pie were excellent and the tea is perfect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the facility is extraordinarily clean. I also love the fact that they carry some of your favorite British condiments, teas and food, which are nearly impossible to find elsewhere. This has jumped onto my top ten list…

I’ve been getting breakfast here since I was a kid. I love the potatoes with eggs and HP Sauce. My nephews love the pancakes. The owner, Beryl, does a great job and she has traditional English options, as well as, a great selection of hard-to-find British products.

Nice, homey place to have a casual cuppa and pick up a British chocolate bar or two. Directly across from the Ojai Farmer’s Market on Sunday.

This is where ex-pat Brits go to get their Smarties, bacon, and Heinz Beanz at enormous mark-ups. The cure for homesickness has its price.
