Yes, please! Fresh, delicious, with just enough heat. For the first H &8th Night Market of the season, I enjoyed very tasty Korean and Vietnamese tacos for $ 3.50 each. Steal!

Anything put on a tortilla or bao, is going to taste great, but Heo’s kitchen does it right. I’ve had my share of Asian fusion, and they’ve got top level stuff.

After two failed attempts, I finally got to try their food! The first time I went, they had to shut down the truck early due to technical difficulties. The second time I showed up, they were nowhere to be found at Grandad’s even though it was still within the time frame they announced on Twitter. I caught up with them when they were parked on 23rd and Walker. As soon as I took the first bite, I immediately regretted not purchasing more food! I got the Vietnamese taco and Heo’s bratwurst. They didn’t have egg rolls at the time so I missed out on that. The taco shell is made of a steamed bun called bánh bao. It is soft and has a sweet flavor. Both the bratwurst and Viet taco were amazing. The sauce they used really set them apart from other places. I could have sworn I tasted Sriracha sauce mixed in there somewhere. So the next time you see their bright blue truck parked somewhere around town, try their food! You won’t regret it! Follow them on Twitter and Facebook to find their next location.

Yummy and cheap! The egg rolls are cheap and delicious, and the kebabs are great, too. Nomnomnom! Can’t wait to have it again!

Food truck, food truck, food truck… I don’t think you can consider any of the food trucks in OKC street meat. I don’t understand why there are not more of them. Philly had a food truck alley where you could get anything you wanted, including my favorite one, a fruit cup food truck. Basically just a whole lot of fresh fruit in a container. This food truck is awesome. I only had the egg rolls with little dab of hot sauce, but that was enough to know that I will eat there again. The reason being is that they grill everything and don’t fry the heck out of things. Finally, and this might not be for everyone, but they acted like a food truck. To my order, and wrapped everything for transport. That is a big mistake of other food trucks around OKC, they haven’t thought about how you are going to deal with your food as you are walking away from the truck. Heo’s kitchen does. Taste, function and price make this something everyone should try.

On my way to the library I saw this huge Thunders colored truck. I walked a bit closer and saw the little pig butt with it’s curly«Q» tail on their logo. So cute! As Scarlet mentioned, Heo is a Vietnamese word :) Anyhow… To my excitement, it was a food truck! This Cali girl really misses her food truck, so I was thrilled at my Tuesday find. Being that it is «Taco Tuesday» I decided to order the Korean Taco. It’s been a long time since I had some good Korean BBQ Spare rib meat and I was impressed. The flavor of the taco was really good— cucumber relish mixed with a tropical salsa. It was spicy! The corn tortilla was a little weak and fell apart with one bite, but the filling was excellent. Can’t wait to see this truck again soon… I want to the try the hot dog next time!

Say what? Gourmet food truck! Yes it is… quality beef and meat. Asian fusion. The sauce is very tasty and quite spicy. The Vietnamese salsa is very fresh with a mix of mango, tomato and onion… They did put lots of thoughts and care how to keep the quality consistent. FYI: Heo is a Vietnamese for pig…(even though they use beef for most of their food).

Heo yes! Awesome food, great prices. I got one of each and they were all great. This awesome truck offers some of the best Korean and Vietnamese fare I’ve had in OKC.
