When I was younger, after going through a slew of doctors, I finally found Dr. O’Connor and have been healthy and happy ever since. She is an extremely knowledgable family doctor, and she has a lot of experience in sports medicine as well. Her office is nicely decorated and professional. I don’t have children, but the waiting room has a nice play room for kids. I rarely have to wait too long after my appointment time to be seen. For last minute illnesses, I like to take advantage of her Physician’s Assistant because she typically has openings; Dr. O’Connor can have a bit longer of a wait time. I appreciate that Dr. O’Connor allows me to be involved in my health and that she takes time to discuss my issues and concerns. In today’s world, doctors spend 2 minutes in a room and prescribe as many medicines as needed to cover up the problem, but Dr. O’Connor doesn’t do that. She encourages people to listen to their bodies, live healthy lifestyles, and utilize alternative medicine when possible. A doctor like her is rare and I am so thankful for her. A word to the wise: don’t be scared off by the short and monotone receptionist when you call to schedule an appointment. She is a bit nicer in person, but I am still scared, and feel like I should apologize, when I call the office. They could improve in this area, but the rest of the experience is fantastic.
