Smile Galaxy Pediatric Dentistry

I love the staff here. They are amazing with kids. I would not take my kids anywhere else!

I brought my 3 year old in for his first dentist appointment today. Pulling into the parking lot, you know this is an amazing place for children! There are metal planets, stars & robots outside & a space ship on the door! My son couldn’t wait to go inside… where he found an EVEN BIGGER spaceship awaiting him!
There were several games out for him to play with. The waiting room also has a television in it. We don’t watch much TV at home, however it was playing an educational show that was helping kids with their spelling. There was a room off to the side of the entrance with 3 separate video games! It looked nothing like any dental office I have ever been in.
The hygienists who took us back was extremely pleasant and sweet to my son. She made him feel very comfortable. He was a little frightened at first! She let him play with the animal shaped flossers (his new favorite thing about brushing), and touch all of the tools before she used them. She was very calming when she spoke to him, and treated him like a big boy, which he really likes!
There are televisions in the ceiling, playing the same educational TV shows. I like the thought of this as a distraction, though it wasn’t really necessary. She was very gentle with him and it was a quick an easy appointment!
Dr. Molloy was equally kind with him! I like that they talk to my son, and tell HIM what they are doing. They explain everything to him in words and ways that he understands as a 3 year old. And it made him feel very special! The only times I was ever directly addressed, it was through my son…“Does your Mommy have any questions today?” «Has your Mommy noticed any problems with your teeth or gums?» Stuff like that, so it was still HIS appointment.
I love that I am allowed back with him. They have comfortable parent seating (3 chairs at each station) and I got to hold his hand and be right next to him the whole time. I was shocked to find how many ‘pediatric’ dentists do not allow this!
Upon leaving, my son got to pick a prize out of a huge chest of small toys, and a sticker! We were very pleased with our visit! Not only will we be back, but we will be recommending this office to friends & family!

Beautiful place. Lots of fun stuff for kids in the waiting area. When you go inside they have TVs in the ceiling for the kids to watch while they are working on them. Pretty cool.
With that said, you pay for it all and see it immediately. I paid $ 150 for the dentist to spend 5 minutes looking at my sons teeth (doesn’t include xrays). $ 400 for the procedure and $ 800 for anesthesia…
«Sir, if you can’t afford it, then you can use Care Credit to pay for it»…why thank you, another way to put me in crazy debt.

Smile Galaxy is the best pediatric dentist my kids have ever been to. We always recommend them to everybody. Friendly staff, great dentists, and worked with my son who wouldn’t let anyone touch him
