Let me start by saying its 14 degrees and frigid out. My family and I just walked into this place for the 1st time. The woman that seated us got visibly perturbed when we entered because we wanted to sit in a booth that needed an extra table(we have 6 people). There was not a single person in the place so it really should not have been a big deal. She asked us to move to a larger table by the window. We asked if it was cold by the window and she replied very nastily«no, it is the same temperature in the whole room». So we all sat down and the seat was freezing. We decided it was too cold and asked to move back where we were. She barked at us saying there is no difference in the temperature and aggressively started pushing tables together for our family of 6 to sit. On top of her aggression she rolled her eyes at me! We all walked out. I can’t believe the treatment! Do not waste your money. We decided to go to Blue Ginger in Stamford. It was Fabulous!

Best Chinese in the Greenwich area! Quick and friendly. The cold sesame noodles are hands down best I ever had.

Best Chinese food on the East side of town. Take out is fast, but they deliver as well. They have a good sized dining room so eat in if you like. Good service, great food, get yourself some ice cream on the way out too ;-).

This is the best Chinese food in town! I’ve been eating here for 22 years now and I still love it. The ladies of the restaurant always take very good, albeit short, care of me and my guests. Very accommodating. The food is simple American Chinese food but very fresh and flavorful. The lunch specials are the best deals in town. 2 courses with a good amount of food for an average price of $ 6.75. Bargain! They also allow byob. When the misses and I don’t feel like cooking we love grabbing a bottle of wine and enjoying it at oriental.

After years of leaving shitty tips as a kid, Oriental Gourmet – I got your back! They’ve upped the inside décor, but I still prefer take out. I wish they delivered, but front and rear parking make pick up easy. I’ve lived in several different cities, and this is just hands down THE best chinese place of this level. I dream of coming home to General Tso’s chicken specifically(somehow they get it perfectly crispy but sticky and gooey), but I also love their Lo Mein. Price is super reasonable and they are open a lot more than other local places. Keep it up!

Excellent food. Decent seating area. Unfriendly waitresses. Amazing fried noddles and duck sauce. No alcohol is sold, so I assume you can bring your own… Parking is tricky. We live in mid-country but the drive is worth it. Our new favorite Chinese place in Greenwich.
