My burger was perfect !! The roll was soft (like they used to be) I’m so glad they listened and fixed the issue !!

Fast and friendly service. $ 5 for a generic cheeseburger is too much, it was mostly just bun. Definitely not the «Worlds Greatest Cheeseburger»

Excellent food and the custard ice cream was delicious! Will definitely stop on our way through next time!

Bill Gray’s The Tap Room is an establishment offering diner food at dine in restaurant prices. The staff are rather standoffish and hesitant to be helpful. Of the three times I ate there, they never got the order quite right, but not so wrong as to trip my ‘this needs fixing’ circuit. The food ranges from sub par to mediocre, which is rather typical for the area, but their enormous sign boasting ‘The world’s greatest cheeseburger’ makes the food seem worse. The burgers are a half step above ‘highschool cafeteria’ quality and the toppings are bland and restocked infrequently. The bar attached to the restaurant is frequented by locals and the atmosphere is cold if you are not adept at sounding like you could have walked there but drove your truck instead. To top it off their vodkas and whiskeys are cut with water, which is actually against the law in certain locals. Their draft beers all have an unsettlingly buttery taste regardless of brand, which tends to indicate a rather unsettling issue with the lines running from the kegs.
I went multiple times in the hope that maybe my experience would change; it did not.

Love this place for so many reasons. The service is fast even with a line of customers. The selection is good and the cheeseburger I have every time rocks. Don’t forget the meat sauce to top off either the cheeseburger or the fries. Want a beer, the Tap Room right next door. The fried mushrooms are fabulous!

Rochester is my hometown, and while some people go to Nicks the first time they come back, my first stop is always this Bill Grays.
The sauce is what makes it: That meat sauce is undeniably some of the best around. The bottled version is not even close to what you get at the restaurant.
Home of the «World’s Greatest Cheeseburger» is the slogan, and I wont take it that far, but i can say with the hot sauce on top its damn close. Order up some delicious fries and order several sides of hot sauce. Makes for great dipping. When youre finished with your meal there is an Abbots ice cream that is part of the restaurant. This is a cant miss meal. I was home for a week and happy to say i made it there 3 times. But seriously, get the meat sauce on whatever you get.

I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries, it was an amazing burger! Fresh, hot and delicious! We definitely plan on going back!!!
