WaBa Grill

I was skeptical of this place after noticing they only had 2.5 stars but there were only 15 reviews. I mean it’s a Waba Grill. You pretty much are going to get the same thing regardless of where you go. The poor reviews were mainly because of negative customer service experiences. I get it. Nobody wants to be treated poorly.
However, the food is a great healthy option for a fast food place. Right now they have a special going (not sure if it’s at all locations) for a free soft drink when you purchase a plate or kale salad. I went with my usual kale salad with double chicken. The chicken here was cut into squares. I have received the same salad other places and the chicken is in strips. Tasted the same. I ordered a side of tofu as well. I was pleasantly surprised. I like the nice flavor the grill added to it. It was perfect for firm texture of the tofu.
There are plenty of sauces to choose from that you can pack yourself or they have packets available near the register. I like mixing the waba teriyaki, sciracha, and waba hot sauce all together and adding a little soy sauce to the mix.
Perfect place to stop after a workout at the 24hour fitness around the corner and right off the 60 freeway if you are traveling south on Archibald. I read in another review that you can call in your order ahead time but it looks like it took longer than expected. My wait time was just a few minutes. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The young lady taking my order was nice and the staff was efficient. Place was about ¹⁄₃ full and it looked really clean. I will stop by again since I frequent this route and use the gym. I love this place! The best employees i must say is Montse and Maddie! (Thats their nick names, short for their real name) im a regular there and each time i go, its always speedy service and can always make me smile! These girls should be taken care of by upper management. I will call wabagrill corporate also.

I called my order in since I was showering at the neighboring 24 and just finished at the gym. I had a short amount of time before I had to go into work so I figured calling would help.
They told me 10 minutes, I arrived after 15. I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. When I paid, they didn’t give me a receipt and since the to go order was hand written they just made it and left it up there for a good 10 mins more. I had to go up to the front to ask if that order that was sitting there was mine. I left angry and in a hurry. I finally am about to eat and I realize right now that they didn’t even give me the avocado I ordered.
This place blows. 35 mins for a CALL IN to go order and they forgot my avocado. Also, I forgot to mention that this is the second time my call in order has taken long. The first time I did it, they didn’t even start making it till I arrived and paid. Whoever owns this franchise needs to get their sh*t together.

One cashier looks like she doesn’t want to be there, at all. I will probably start going back to the location on Mountain and Philadelphia. Prices are cheaper and customer service is better.

I’ve been a fan of Waba grill since I moved to ontario. This Waba grill just opened next to my place so I was very excited to try it out. The prices are higher than the other locations, service was very slow, and the food was terrible! They messed up on our order 3 times, and when we asked to talk to the manager and ask for a redo or a refund, he just said that he will note the concern. This all happened while his rude employee just stared us down. We don’t usually complain much but this experience was terrible. Save your money and go elsewhere!

The food and service here is great. The place is well-​maintained and employees are always kind. Thank you Jessica for having a great team. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick and healthy alternative.

Not bad, first time trying from Waba Grill… and didn’t disappoint. However, I will come back to try more things off their menu in the future. It’s good to finally see one right down the street from my home. Not bad for a start up here off Archibald.
Hoping for a more delicious experience next time around!

I was excited for this location to open as its closer to my house. Yesterday my experience there was horrible. I walked in and waited about 3 minutes to even be acknowledged while 3 employees watched another bag an order. Jessica finally helped me and seemed bothered to be there… hitting the keys in her screen aggressively. As I handed her my Waba Grill gift card to pay for my order she said they don’t accept them. I asked her to try and she says they never work, as she slid my card several times she couldn’t get it to work and says you’ll have to pay another way… I hand her my ATM card and paid for my purchase. There was an issue printing my receipt and waited another 4 – 5 minutes. She seemed poorly trained which may be the root of her frustration. While waiting for my order my daughter had to use the restroom, we walked in and right back out… it was filthy! Finally got my order and came home to a piece of salmon smaller than the palm of my hand and very dry and hard brown rice. I will not be returning and based on everyone else’s comments I’m not the only one.

This is the most amazing wanna grill!! they’re food, their service is amazing! The food is fresh! The place is super clean! I really enjoy coming here! I’m glad they opened up right next door to home! Thanks!

Very disappointed food was under cooked, they need better customer service here! They also don’t have ice tea ready!

$ 5 for a tiny side of broccoli, no thanks. Overpriced compared to other Waba Grills. Don’t know how to price properly.

Worst Waba Grill I have ever been to. It’s a franchise, so that explains a lot. Nothing like all the other delicious ones. Lots of fat in the chicken and beef. Hot sauce is gross. Carrots and peppers have a weird flavor. Please drive 10 minutes away to the one on haven near rancho or the one by the mills. This is not a waba. It’s a bootleg imitation. Barffff. Mind you, I went there 4 times to give it a try… Don’t waste your money there.

Very quick service and clean establishment. It would be a perfect review if it wasn’t for the terrible customer service given to customers from the Hispanic young guy. I just left and he was wearing all black with an apron. Complete jerk. Rude to me and all of the other customers. Keep him in the back! Everyone else there is very nice.

I had the chicken bowl everything tasted great very fast service.
The store was pretty dirty and its brand new store. They need to clean the soda station and out of the 15 tables 7 were dirty.
I did come in around 1:30 so maybe I came in after the lunch rush.
When I was in there were around 5 customers.
Overall a good experience I will be back
