Not a bad meal, are shrimp Tempura on the stick, and the beef skewers pretty good, the empanadas were not so good better luck next time

Andrea is the best bar tender ever!!! She is so friendly and she can handle so much it’s crazy. I’m a regular at this bar and I’m very observant of the patrons and the bar tenders and managers. I love coming here but tonight as they were short staffed and with a movie release, Andrea and the manager Kevin, handled everything so smoothly. No one was upset, no one thought anything was slow service, drinks, attention etc and Kevin circled the place and talked to everyone ATLEAST once tonight. The entire team working(cooks rubbed bar tenders bar backs) all were friendly and so aware of everything going on. Like I said I’m a regular so I knew they were understaffed because of 2 call outs but standing back(like good yellepers do)…as a regular patron tonight I truly enjoyed being here. Kevin Andrea Topher were ABSOLUTELY amazing!

Went here on a date. I used to come here a lot back in 2014 – 2015 and I loved it, the food and vibes. We got the pasta and fish and let’s just say it wasn’t what we were expecting. The pasta needed more salt and the fish you can tell they didn’t clean the grill properly… sad experience this time around. But we both enjoyed the show and the vibes they put on. So maybe it was just an off day on the food.

Went and ate at this place yesterday and if I could give it zero stars I would. Let me start by saying this review does not reflect on the service. Our waitress was EXCELLENT. She was very courteous, polite, our food took a while but she made sure we were comfortable and had our drinks and appetizers. The service for me and everyone else I was with was 5 stars. So now this the reason for the one star review… the food was absolutely disgusting! Here’s our order: Me: chicken skewers and fries & bloody mary Friend 1: bacon cheese burger with fries and beer Friend 2: Fish tacos and sangria Appetizer: chips, salsa and guac The chicken was tough and rubbery. It was hard to take off the skewers and once I did get it off the skewers my first piece had a slight pink tint to it. I didn’t know if the inside was cooked or not but I was feeling risky so I took a chance(still not sure if it was a smart move on my part) it tasted horrible. No flavor at all. It reminded me of frozen dinners, they just defrosted and cooked without adding any spices or herbs at all. They glazed it with a couple dribbles of some bland sauce, I don’t even know what it tasted like because once again no flavor. I tried eating 2 out of 4 of the skewers but couldn’t finish either. There were all kinds of weird pieces of fat that you couldn’t even pay me enough to touch hanging from it. I just gave up and went to the chow mien that tasted like ginger. That was tolerable because I like the taste of ginger. My drink was ok. I couldn’t taste the alcohol at all just the bloody mary mix. I was happy to have ordered fries but they weren’t even good. And it wasn’t just me that thought so my friend 1 that ordered the burger thought his fries were disgusting too. We couldn’t understand how you could mess up fries?! He couldn’t even finish his burger. It just didn’t taste good to him. Friend 2 liked her tacos but nothing special. The chips, salsa & guac were the only things that we enjoyed. I guess that’s what makes it deserving a star. In conclusion, the menu looks appealing but the quality of the food does not match the prices they are asking for. I felt like they took a lean cuisine diner plate, defrosted it and put it on a «fancy» plate and charged me $ 8 for it. Our entire meal with tip came out to $ 77 I thought that was too much for a place that tastes below a fast food joint.

Service was alright. Awkwardly our dinner came out first and then out appetizers about 15 mins later. We asked the waitress why and she said, «oh we have 2 different kitchens». So you guys can coordinate? Our food was very good. The belly dancer was extremely awkward. She was standing next to our table until we unwillingly acknowledged her. I watched a family from a far notice the belly dance and leave the restaurant. All I could think of was the show Bar Rescue.

Used to be cool. I got here at twelve. Ordered entrée and appetizer. For some reason sashimi took fifteen minutes to come out and paella took 30 minutes to come out. Service was not fast. Food seems a bit expensive. I asked the water for the check and had time to complete this review and then some. And I’m still waiting. Mayne they are understaffed or something. Who knows. Would not recommend.

I’ve been to this place a few times and have had nothing but stellar service and food. Despite being busy, the servers are prompt and cheery. The food is absolutely delicious, and the ambiance is unique. They have artwork from what I assume to be local artists hanging on the walls for purchase. If you have the opportunity to come here i would strongly suggest that you give it a try.

CAN I GIVENEGATIVESTARS??? Ok let me start by saying that our waiter was great, and none of this was his fault. So some time ago I bought a groupon for this place along with a friend of mine. We decided to go on a double date on Friday night and use our groupons. So we get seated and we tell our waiter we want separate checks because we are using our groupons. We order drinks, appetizers, meals. The groupon was for a mere $ 30 off… our bills were well over this amount for each of us. So when the bills come our waiter tells us that his manager has informed him that only one groupon will be allowed per table. NOWHERE on our groupon does it state this. We ask to speak with the manager and he tells us that is groupon’s policy. I contacted Groupon. This is not their policy. HELIED! We tried to call him on his phony policy and he became confrontational with my friends boyfriend… getting in his face because he didn’t like us telling his we thought his policy was total bulls**t. What happened to the customer is always right? What happened to customer service? This manager is a JOKE!!! After we told him, whatever we will just pay our bills, he proceeded to stand by the bar and give us dirty looks until we left. Perhaps he should go into security instead of managing a business. I don’t know who the owners are and if this guy is an owner or just a manager but if he is just a manager he should be fired. I have NEVER dealt with such a jerk!!! We buy groupons all the time and it’s never a big deal. The whole purpose of the groupon is to get you to come to the establishment and spend money. You are going to tell me after we come and spend money you are going to refuse to accept the groupon??? WHATKINDOFSHADYBUSINESSAREYOURUNNING!!! I WILLNEVER come to eat or drink at this place EVERAGAIN!!! I will also discourage anyone I know from going. To top it off the drinks were not that good and the food was just ok. Our waiter did apologize for his manager’s behavior saying that this is a common practice and as employees themselves they deal with Management making up rules for them. WOW!!! I will be filing a complaint and requesting my refund from Groupon.

Got a Groupon for this place and wanted to give it a try. Place had a few customers during lunchtime, I got a little suspicious, but hey, I’ve got a groupon. Took 10 minutes for someone to notice me, I was then given a table and I waited another 10 minutes before a server came and apologized because they were figuring out who was gonna take their break. Ok, they acknowledged their mistake so I’m gonna be treated like a VIP now. 10 minutes later my drink arrives even though the bar is 10 feet away from me. I’m waiting for my food still and will give a review of it when it arrives.

Im a little surprised of the overall rating for this bar/restaurant. I must admit that when my boyfriend recommended we try this place out(Ive never been, but he has), I was a little reluctant when I saw the rating and read some of the comments. First, I had a great time and thought service was acceptable and great. Our waiter was really nice and really energetic, and always checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Second, Ive never had the ‘tapas’ style dinner before, which Id really just compare it to the Mexican equivalent of the Asian ‘dim sum’. I thought it was really cool and although my boyfriend had described them as ‘small plates/appetizers’, it was bit more than small to me… In a good way, of course. We ordered the chicken eggrolls, which was totally amazing. Its pretty much 2 oversized eggrolls cut in half and even in half the sizes were huge. I felt full already after two of them ! Buttttttt, I ate more. I am a fan of ceviche and the one I ordered here was probably one of the better ones Ive had in the past. This one wasnt too runny or too salty and I felt like they had that extra spicy oomph that I love in shrimp ceviche. We also had the beef picadillas and buffalo wings which was really good. Lastly, I can say that I would go there again. My experience, both in customer service and customer satisfaction, were both met with 2 thumbs up !

Visited here on a layover. The hotel told us they offered a crew discount. The restaurant was unaware of such a discount, but they still honored it! Way to go, guys! Thank you! Friendly bartender. Great food. I had a cup of lobster bisque, and the poke tuna appetizer, which was very generous in portion and extremely flavorful. I washed that down with a beer and it was just what I needed. Great spot to sit on an overcast afternoon in Orange County.

Came here a few times and always had an enjoyable time. I don’t know if this is somewhere you would want to go for a meal as the food(that I’ve tried) is nothing spectacular. The best part is the happy hour($ 4 wines M-F 3 – 6:30 pm and $ 2 off certain appetizers). Good for post shopping dranks and finger foods. Good ambiance when you sit out at the patio, great service. One complaint is that the mega mojito pricing is not on the menu and it is $ 28. Wish we were told that when we ordered it because it’s not worth it.

This review is LONG overdue. CTTT has been at the Block(it’s still the Block to me!!!) for years, easily 15 yrs now. It’s a great place to meet after work, before a baseball game, or for happy hour. I hadn’t gone in a few years, so after getting out seat on the patio I immediately noticed they added more items to their menu. So we ordered — - Ceviche– 3.5 stars, if you are a ceviche aficionado then you might be disappointed as this is very basic, but for the price and portion size this wasn’t bad at all!!! Chipotle chicken empanadas 4 stars. Again good portion size and good for an appetizer. The chipotle sauce had an aioli taste to it as well, yum. Hummus 3 stars. You can’t really mess up hummus, it was ok, not sure I would get that again. Filet mignon skewers 5 stars. The steak couldn’t have been any more tender, and again you got a good portion size with some pita slices! Probably the best dish of the night. Haley are server was one the best servers ever— just very personable, and she was on point with the timing of the dishes, etc. Definitely a great experience with her. If you are looking for a place that has a large variety of small plates then CTTT is the place for you! Tip– they allow smoking on the patio area, so if you are sensitive to vape, cigars, etc then ask to be seated inside… #29/2016

Oh Tu Tu Tango… Lots of good memories I can’t count the numbers of times I have been here but its been a lot. Normally I go for drinks with a large group of people. Their happy hour is great. Their happy hour run from 2−7pm everyday and 10pm-close on Sunday-Thursday. If you missed happy hour, they also have a drink special for each day of the week. However, I must warn you that some of their beers are taste watered down and their wine selection is just okay. I normally got for their sangrias. They have a red option which I normally like to get a pitcher of, and their white. Their white sangria isn’t my favorite. It just doesn’t taste as good. The drinks here are okay. However, their food is pretty decent. Their portions are very large and most of them are well flavored and satisfying. For appetizers, I love their nachos and empanadas. For food, their pizzas are pretty good. The pricing is very reasonable, especially during happy hour. As for service, it has always been excellent. Even when you come in a large group the waiters and waitresses always do their best. Our drinks are always refilled, they take drink orders with reasonable timing, and the food always comes out pretty fast. You don’t ever really have to go to the bar for drinks. However, they do have a a large bar area. There is inside seating and outdoor patio seating. The inside is fairly large with plenty of booths, chairs and tables. The outside is also a good size. Overall, its a good place to meet with friends to hang out, eat and drink.

Oh boy, where do I begin? My friends and I made reservations here for our Galentine’s Day lunch date before catching a movie. From the moment we sat down, service was SLOW. In taking our order, our server failed to write down our orders, but halfway through, had to go back and repeat everyone’s from the beginning to make sure he got it(which, ultimately, he didn’t). Why not just write it down? When one of my friends ordered a burger, low-carb style, he flat out told her there was no such thing — um, it CLEARLY states it on the menu. So he said he could see what he could do. *eye roll* Anyway, a billion hours later, our food arrived… in turns. And not spread out by a few minutes. 2 people literally waited at least 10 minutes for their food to arrive while the rest of us sat there with our food getting cold. For one of our orders, it was wrong and they kept bringing it back and forth trying to say it was our order… um, no, it wasn’t. So pretty sure they just took it in the back, took the onions off, and brought it back to us ’cause my friend said it was cold by the time she got it back«right». For my other friend and me, we ordered tacos, and it didn’t come with the bowl of tortillas like we read the menu to include… instead, our waiter at first(like before) straight up said«no, it doesn’t» then after a little more prodding, told us «oh, it’s like a single chip but we’re out». Um, okay? The manager later told us the beans come in a tortilla bowl but they were out of the bowls. Whatever. We asked our waiter to bring us some tortilla chips since they were out of what was supposed to come with our tacos, and he brought us a take-out container(closed, awkward) of like 10 chips. Okay… All that said, I was ready to give them 1 star because of the truly SH*TTY service — slow and rude(they do not follow«customer is always right» here, and by no means were we demanding or rude at all). However, 2 managers came to apologize to us, including one whose family owns the place. So… fine, bumping up to 3 stars because of that, plus the food wasn’t necessarily bad(just cold –__-). I hiiiiiighly doubt I’ll ever be back despite them giving each of us a $ 10GC. Sorry, ain’t nobody got time for that.

The food is great at this restaurant. The dishes are mostly tapas/small plate style. I ordered the picadillo empanadas and the Spanish antipasto. Both are good and could even be considered healthy-ish. The Picadillo Empanadas are filled with beef and have a crunchy shell. They are served with a sour cream sauce. Very refreshing. The Spanish Antipasto is composed of Serrano ham, chorizo slices, manchego cheese, chopped artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, tapenade, flat bread, and mixed greens on a painter’s palette. There is more mixed greens than the meats and cheese– hence healthy-ish. Dinner went great with a Tempranillo wine. Do not sit in the inside bar if you are in a hurry.

I always pass this place at the outlets but never thought to go in. The place seems lively at all times. They had dancers while I dined there. The food was average. The menu is pretty bare, they had another menu with burgers but didn’t even give that to us we had to ask for it. I ordered a melon margarita and an turkey Swiss sandwich with fries of course. The margarita was average, not strong enough. I could only taste the lime, not even any melon. The sandwich was just like deli turkey meat not even the quality kind but the sun dried tomato aioli was good. The worst part was that the fries were Luke warm borderline cold… for the prices I expected better food. They have happy hour daily so that’s something to try.

Time flies, it’s been a very long time since we had a meal here, and last time wasn’t very pleasant. I am glad things have improved a lot this time, so I am a fan again! They have more entrée items on the menu now, even burgers, sandwiches and tacos, so the portions are bigger and easier to get full. They still have my favorite tapas on the menu, I always order them every time I come here, Ahi poki, seared tuna sashimi, steamed clams are my favorites. The new item blackened lobster skewer with cold noodles was absolutely delicious, fresh and flavorful, loved it. Hubby liked the duck quesadilla and beef skewers, the pepperoni pizza has always been his favorite. Had a pitcher of white sangria, so refreshing and strong too, perfect for a very warm summer night. It was a very comforting tapa meal, both hubby and I enjoyed it so much, our server was very friendly and attentive too. And they had a very beautiful belly dancer performing for dining people, it was so much fun watching her entertaining us during our dinner! So, of all the restaurants at the block, I like this one the most, again!
