La Tan

I have been to several locations in the area. The woman here are very pleasant, helpful and informative. The beds here are much nicer than the location on 159^th and Harlem.

This is my favorite L.A. tan. I drive from Chicago Ridge when I have three other ones that are a lot closer. The girls are extremely friendly, and the beds seem a lot cleaner.

BF and I started tanning for our upcoming trip to Hawaii. Although I’m anti-​tanning, I’m also Anti-​Megan-​Get-​Burnt on vacation. I would like to enjoy my vacation, not be in pain. I’m naturally Casper-​like so I wanted to get a base before traveling. This location is so night. It could use a little bit of a face lift but the beds were clean and the staff is really nice. I will say the entrance is awkward because you can’t see the front reception area until you round the corner.

I go to this LA Tan 2 – 3 times a week. Especially on $ 5 Tuesdays. These girls that work here are amazing. They are really personable and will do anything they can to help you out. Most of these girls could be my daughters because of their ages and they still have a great attitude with me. They are never disrespectful. This is the best LA Tan around. I live closer to other ones but will always come back to this one. Keep the staff you have now — –they are an asset here!!!

I walked the Orland Park Location on 94^th Avenue this evening. I was not greeted when I walked into the salon and the employee was having a conversation with a friend. I told her I was interested in «four tans for four dollars» for new clients. She asked me if I have ever tanned at this location, and I responded that it has been about five years. She said she can check the system for my name. In order to give her my ID, I LITERALLY had to reach across the desk to hand it to her as she was over by her friend. I was told that I was unable to do the deal, however I was still interested in tanning. Instead of giving me another option, she went back to her conversation with her friend. I continued to stand there and wait to hear about my other options. She proceeded to hand me a clipboard of prices and went back to her conversation. I felt so uncomfortable and felt like I was annoying her that I told her I didn’t want to tan and I did not appreciate her customer service. Her friend made a rude remark and the employee gave a condescending statement as well. As someone in the customer service industry, I did not appreciate the service given and I will bring my money and business where it will be appreciated. The lack of professionalism was disgusting.
