Seems to be closed. I hope the owner and everyone involved with this place are alright. It was really a unique and fantastic edition to Orlando. I hope to see them re-open somewhere nearby. There was no sign on the door…

This was the worse store possible. We were so happy when we came to the store thinking it has fresh russian food. The food was spoiled, rotten, we bougth sunflower seeds and when we open the plastic bag, living worms were inside the bag, there sauage wasnt fresh, and the staff was really rude and disrespectfull, not ones they said tgank you or please, it was the opposite what?. We came to Orlando from Chicago and we have never seeing so much dirt in a store, i dont know how the health department lets this store to stay in business. I have been telling everybody back home of our experience. I hope they shut them down!!!

Ah, you know a place is authentic when there’s a little old Ukrainian lady shopping there, getting super excited that they have so much food that she recognizes from back home. I was super excited to see Eastern European food when I walked in, because I guess I was expecting something a little more boring like the British shop next door. They have some very interesting wines from places like Moldova and Georgia that weren’t too expensive, and the smells wafting from the deli counter and hot food bar were amazing. I grabbed a sort of lunch combo plate(which was basically pointing at stuff and telling the lady, «I have no clue what that is, but yes, one of those. Annnnd those. And that please. Awesome.» Everything was super tasty, including the stuffed cabbage, the borscht, mashed potatoes, and the other unknown deliciousness that I added to my plate. I’m definitely going to be spending some more time wandering through this store and trying all of these tasty Eastern European treats.

Just off 50 on 17⁄92 is a great little Russian delicatessen. We couldn’t read many of the jars and cans, because they’re in Russian. If you take your time though, and look thoroughly through the shelves, you’ll find all manner of pickled, well, everything. Many different kinds of pickled squash, mushrooms(4 different varieties), beans, eggplant, etc. I bought pickled wine cap mushrooms, which I’ve never seen before. The refrigerated case made me wish I had a cooler with me to try some of the cheeses and meat. The prepared food case made me wish we weren’t on our way to the Enzian for dinner and a movie. We did, however, find some very interesting candy. It’s always fun looking through foreign candy. Just for clarification, the one with the squirrel on it contains nuts… not actual squirrel :-) I’ll be back to try some of what’s in the case, and perhaps a few things I couldn’t identify. You can be a little adventurous in this place!

Despite the bright green awning with the name of the market on the outside, I passed this place a million times before I finally went in to check it out. And now I’ve been a loyal shopper here for several months because they have such a unique selection of food, but the biggest draw for me is their incredibly low price on Lifeway Kefir! We always stock up and get at least 5 bottles when we go. They also have a wonderful selection of interesting deli meats– my husband once tried one that was pure fat and we don’t recommend that one unless you’re chasing it with a shot of vodka. Aside from that, I love the cheeses, baked goods, and frozen foods like pierogis! They also have grocery items with labels that you might not be able to read, but you’ll figure it out or you can ask the owners. My husband and I love finding things there that we had when we were in Eastern Europe, and you certainly won’t find them at Publix!

Wow! I got a little teary looking at the deli case; it was like being in my Grandmother’s kitchen. The gentleman who owns the place was justifiably proud of the selection, and went over every item with me. I was on my way to a party and had stopped in to pick up some interesting appetizers, and boy, was I in luck! Not only was the food wonderful, but the couple who own the place are charming and helpful and oh, so sweet. Everything is made in house, and everything was delicious! The puff pastry is light and flaky, the blintzes were(almost) as good as my Grandmother’s, and the chopped liver was fantastic. I love that they have a market, too, which carries all sorts of Eastern European delicacies and ingredients. I can’t wait to go back and bring home some stuffed cabbage and beef stroganoff and chicken Kiev. The prices are almost embarrassingly cheap. I walked out with three big bags of goodies for $ 25. If you haven’t tried Eastern European food, stop in and let them guide you through. You’ll be glad you did, and so will your taste buds and your pocketbook.

Located right next to the British Shoppe on Mills, this market has a charming feel and a wonderful variety of products! I love finding stores that carry types of beer/cheese/meats I’ve never heard of before — this one has rows upon rows of interesting, delicious looking goods ranging from pickled watermelon to cheese from Finland to Russian beers with names and descriptions labeled entirely in Cyrillic. The deli section is marvelous and also ranges from whole fish to head cheese and then back to ready to eat stuffed cabbage and huge blocks of assorted halvah. Friendly employees and a cozy sit-down deli area complete the inviting atmopshere.

I wish I could say I had a meal here, but when I walked through the door my eyes fixated on the box of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs and I gasped with joy and nostalgia. I used to get these candies back home when I was little and they don’t sell them in the states so I was shocked and happy to see them. There’s a huge variety of smoked, preserved and canned fish and other meats, pickled things, crackers, you name it. The deli was amazing and had a lot to offer. The desserts looked fantastic and honestly I can’t wait to make my next trip cause I’m about that deli and finishing it off with a nice imported chocolate treat. I’m glad this place is here.

International Market is a great place to dabble in Eastern European cuisine. Don’t judge a book by its cover, this store is a lot nicer than it might appear from the outside and well-stocked. Much of the food selections may seem strange and unfamiliar, but definitely worth exploring. Very reasonably priced!

Just north of 50(colonial) on mills. This place is a lot bigger than I expected and very clean. There is a large deli case with all kinds of cured meats, fish, cheese and another for desserts. They also have a regular grocery type store with all kinds of Russian and eastern European ingredients, strange wines and beers, Fish, Caviar, pickled vegetables, lots of weird and wild stuff. I was surprised that they don’t make sandwiches; I think they’d get a lot of business if they did. The lady there was nice enough, but in a short way, she seemed to have trouble understanding me I’d have to say about everything twice, must be my «southern accent». They have 3 tables where you can sit and eat and admire the deli and dessert case. I ordered a piroshky and another perogi type thing. The latter was filled with a potato paste and was decent like a giant wonton but it was a bit chewy. The piroshky was like a croissant type pastry filled with little chunks of beef, it was very good and the prices were ridiculously cheap, like a dollar or so. They had a lot of variations on these types of foods and they will heat them up for you. Make sure you ask for some sour cream or something to dip them in. This same case had other things like potato salad, peppers in a tomato sauce, a strange looking stroganoff. They also have a variety of cakes, I tried one and it was like a softer biscotti but with some really flavorful layers. It had peanuts and chocolate on top, this was more expensive about $ 4.95 but it was a huge piece. I couldn’t even finish it. If all that wasn’t enough at the front counter they have a bunch of different chocolate bars, milk, dark, nutty and a bunch of gift box collections like the kind you get at Christmas or Valentines day. Orlando needs places like this, especially centrally located ones. Go support them, expand your horizons help our fair city become truly multi cultural.

This place is great. A new and interesting place to try new and interesting food. You can browse the market area where they have Russian and eastern European goods. From can foods, boxed foods, to frozen goods. On the other side of the room are deli items to eat there, as well as take home. Deli meats, homemade Russian foods, and unique boxed candy. I ate something, which I don’t remember it’s name. It was a layered dish with potato, egg, and… um other stuff. Nothing bad, just be adventurous. The owner wanted me to try his perogis, and was enthusiastic to explain what each item is. They have inside tables as well as outside seating. Go get some pâté. Dafe.
