Wow 4.5 stars. You all must be crazy. Dry salmon, chicken Marsala over an inch thick. Only savior was decent service.

Menu is very basic. Out of the fish dinner I chose. Only 3 seafood dishes on the menu. Have no idea how this place gets 4.5 stars. Never will go back

Very good service. Food is excellent. My dining partners had blacken snapper and it was great. I had lamb chops and they were very good. All in all it was a great experience even though it is pricey.

5⁄5 for atmosphere and excellent service, but 3.5 for food — the Jambalaya was too peppery and the fish special(Halibut) was overcooked, though the flavours were lovely. We mentioned that and dessert was on the house — hence the great service. The live piano was also great — lots of Billy Joel and other piano faves. We would probably come back and give it another chance.

The first time I had a pleasure so quaint to dine at itta bena, it was a friends birthday. So all though it was a day planned with many things itta bena was definitely top of the the list.upon. arriving to the the cozy high class establishment we we’re there about two hours early before our reservation. We were quickly accommodated with smiles. the garçon was quite knowledgeable with his food and alcohol. I order the chicken Marsala which it you haven’t had it, go try it my opinion the only thing they could have done better was the cute little ice ball I’m my Scotch could have been in the shape of a skull. other than that if your looking for a perfect romantic evening with so piano I’m the background look no further.

Was skeptical at first given the«touristy» location, but I couldn’t have been more pleased. Everything was rock solid including the crab soup which came highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

I find myself returning frequently to Itta Bena, and dare I say I’m becoming a regular? The food is always 5 stars and the service to match. I sit at the bar and Brenda instantly greets me with a big smile and welcomes me back. During my most recent visit I was dining with a friend who had a pepper allergy. We told Brenda and she made sure to speak with the Chef so that the Salmon we ordered was delicately and exquisitely prepared to our specifications. Kudos to the Chef for creating such a tasty dish. Oh and I must not forget to mention the Whiskey Flights… What a great way to try new whiskeys both local and unique. Definitely will be back soon.

This is such a gem of a restaurant, there was 13 in our group and the service was fantastic, they were always there to take care of our needs, the food was awesome and cooked perfect, everyone in our group loved what they had, the barbecue shrimp was outstanding, I wish I remembered the name of our server, but I was not the one who paid the bill so I didn’t get his name. But they are lucky to have him

Not the worst decision you’ll ever make for dinner… A colleague and I wandered into this restaurant after walking around the outdoor mall one evening. We were a bit surprised by how loud the piano was by the hostess station, so we asked to be seated as far away as possible, in order to discuss some business. When questioned, the staff confirmed that the music was jarringly loud. We couldn’t imagine sitting at the bar across from it, trying to hold a conversation. So, if you’re expecting a quiet venue, forget it, because everyone compensates for the piano, by speaking to each other loudly, but that being said, the service and food itself is very, very good. It was quite obvious that others felt the same way, because the restaurant filled to the brim shortly after we arrived. There was even a private event in a room off of the main dining room. All things considered, this is somewhat of a special occasion place, for the corporate card crowd, or a first date, due to the fairly high menu prices — most definitely not a family dining choice. So, if you happen to be wandering around the mall one evening, and have a few bucks to spend, give this place a shot.

Great food and great atmosphere. My husband and I enjoyed a variety of appetizers, craft cocktails and entrees. The live piano music was a delightful addition to our evening. We were especially impressed with the she crab soup and the lamb chop entrée. The place boasts a «speak easy«concept so it is easy to miss, but definitely worth the trip.

I ordered the mushroom soup and blackened red snapper. While tasty, it is now 7 hours later and I am suffering what I think is food poisoning. Given the timing, and that I had eaten nothing since lunch, I think the dinner is the cause. Not fun.

Itta Bena is a 5 star experience in nearly all facets of the restaurant business. This place has an amazing décor and fantastic service. I would classify this joint as somewhat of a speakeasy meets pseudo upscale dining. I will say that everything from the drinks to the dessert is delicious. Started this experience with some fried avocados with crab, portobello fries then moved onto the shrimp and grits all washed down with a couple of gin collins. The fried avocado was absolutely amazing unlike any appetizer I’ve experienced, the portobello fries were essentially portobello mushrooms sliced and prepared exactly like French fries, mmmmm. The shrimp n grits were extremely flavorful and the giant shrimp was cooked to perfection. One of my buddies also ordered the duck and waffles and it looked amazing and tasted delicious too… Overall, a 5 star dining experience that was truly impressive. Pros– Service Ambiance Drinks Overall menu Appetizers Good taste Experience Cons– A bit difficult to find

Itta Bena it does sound like an Italian joint but it’s actually the town in Mississippi where famous blues star legend B.B. King was born. With an speak easy vibe, intimate atmosphere and grand piano. Itta Bena gets out of Memphis it joins BB King’s and Lafayette’s turning Pointe Orlando into Pointe New Orleans. The regional cuisine is represented in quasi-upscale sort of way. For starters I had the fried avocado, cut in half and then a scoop of jumbo lump crab salad, it tasted fresh and interesting but it lacked the zest and Cajun heat even with the pico and warm remoulade. The duck and waffles was sweet and savory but a little dry. Get there just before 7pm to try the happy hour menu and special whiskey deals at the copper bar, the live entertainment starts at that time, or you can take the receipt and check out BB Kings live band without paying a cover charge.

She-crab soup, garlic rolls, surf-n-turf, and lamb shanks! The ambiance, service, food, and music is most conducive to a relaxing and romantic date night. The steak that came with the surf and turf, which my partner got, was my favorite! Oh, and we finished our evening with the Godiva liqueur cheesecake! Honestly, Pointe Orlando to me was more for happy hours than dinner, but this place is worth a jaunt to enjoy the delicious food and ambiance for the occasional date night. We loved it!

This meal was excellent!!! The service was also excellent! I loved the live music. It sounded like urban jazz. I started with the BBQ shrimp with the beer bread. The bread is a perfect buttery sweetness to compliment the well seasoned shrimp. I also had the lamb chops. Amazing! Not boring in taste at all. I had it with mac n cheese. Both were perfect! Lastly, was dessert, white chocolate bread pudding. It was perfect. The raisins were on the top. That allowed you to control the sweetness. It was wonderful. SN: The bread at the beginning can give false representation to what follows.

Amazing food and ambience!!! Perfect place for a date hidden in the middle of the most touristic area in Orlando. Service is very professional and the Piano Artist is out of this world, very classic but with some modern twists!!!

Oh… my…goodness!!! Best kept secret in Orlando. Crab soup, mushroom soup, hand cut fries, chicken Marsala, duck and waffles, and most importantly the bread pudding! It’s so delicious, the drinks are fresh, and the service is superb. The bread and honey butter are so fresh they melt when they meet. Our serve Gianna was amazing and gave great recommendations and made us laugh. She was super knowledgable on the product and restaurant and gave us the history. We will be back again soon! Thank you Itta Bena team!

Southern gentleman is a nice drink… And dessert … Choose two! This place is a perfect date with a piano in the background and in the center of fun!

Okay, it’s at the Pointe to start off with. I’ve never found anything great to eat at the Pointe, other than Capital Grille, and this is no exception. It’s supposed to be a Speakeasy, but the interior seems more Castle-like to me. I will say that all of the servers we spoke to were very nice, and very accommodating to our kids. It’s on IDrive, so if you’re going to stay in business, you kind of have to be. But that’s it for the positive here. We were in relatively early, before a movie next door, and it was surprising how long it took the food to get to us, and nothing was even memorable enough for me to write here about. Not good enough, not bad enough. Just forgettable. And that’s not good in such a highly competitive restaurant market like Orlando. As for the drinks, they weren’t bad… But like the food, there was nothing special. Listen, the Pointe is famous for having ill thought out restaurants, IMO, and this one falls right into that again. But if you’re at the Pointe, could you do worse than eating here? Ab-so-freakin-lutely. Adobe Gilas. Ahem. I’m talking about you. If I could give this place two and a half stars, I would. Because that’s what it is… Not good, not bad. Right in the middle.
