The meat comes out wet and dunked in sauce, but still manages to be dry. Flavor wise it tasted like any other Spanish based restaurant but with extra salt, nothing impressive enough to call me back. They were out of sweet bread at about 2pm too. The service was quick and friendly though.

The best colada in the world. This will perk you up the whole day. So good that you’ll get addicted to it.

I loved the food. Would definitely come back! Garlic Sauce for tostones was legit. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious. I ordered the lunch combo which came with a Cuban sandwich, tostones, and a fountain drink. The sandwich was flavorful and delicious and the tostones were cooked to perfection. I decided to add a little more salt to the tostones and it brought out all the flavor! I definitely recommend this place.

In what cleaning concerns, this places is very dirty. The doors, glasses, parilla, trays. It looks like the things have been used many many times and have never been washed. DONOT RECOMMEND!

A small store front with a half dozen tables, but the food is outstanding! I had the Ropa Vieja, which was delicious! One of the guys with had a Cuban Sandwich, which he thought was the best Cuban he ever had!

Hands down the best Cuban place I’ve ever had! Not only is the food amazing, but it is also very consistently amazing, a hard thing to find at any restaurant. And, if you live close enough, they deliver!

My favorite sandwich place in all of Orlando. Most of the times I have their Big size Tripleta sandwich with plantain chips, instead of fries(highly recommended). Also, since this is a Cuban restaurant, I always ask for my triple espresso shot without sugar(Triple colada sin azúcar). I come here regularly, so the owners already know my orders and always great me with a smile on their face. This Is a small cafeteria with a «just like home» environment. Side note… Their mofongo is the best in town.

We chose to come to Los Autenticos after reading the great reviews, but were a bit disappointed in our experience. We ordered two deals, where you get a sandwich, a side, and a drink, and paid $ 19. The Classic Cuban sandwiches were good, but small, and the maduros were okay, but a couple were really tough and hard to finish. The fried yucca and café con leche were both great. Nice atmosphere that felt cozy, but fast food style, and very friendly staff.

This place never lets me down. We come here almost every Saturday… And it’s a bit fat from home. They know us already and our picky coffee orders. Treat us like friends, serve amazing food and spectacular coffee that leaves you asking for more. I always go for brunch and have never tried their lunch menu, but I will do this soon enough. The place has a humble appearance, but do not be fooled by it. My only complaint is that they restroom looks like it needs to be bleached clean. It’s never«dirty» it just has old stains, on the floor and corners, and looks like it could use a «touch up». I hope they work on this soon because I know there are a pot of people who judge a place by their appearances… and this restroom needs help!

Wow! My wife and I just happened to be driving through Orlando when we both found ourselves a bit peckish. A quick map search on Unilocal turned up this gem, and we didn’t even have to make a U-turn. Los Autenticos is everything you could hope for. A giant menu of cuban sandwiches, tons of sides, and fast food restaurant style booth seating. The best thing is how affordable this place is, what a value! We chose two sandwiches, a Cuban and a BBQ Pork. My wife selected a pastry as her side and I went with the beans and rice. Everything came out ultra quickly, and we dove in with the voraciousness only a day of travel can create. Before we knew it our plates were clear. I was extremely pleased with how delicately prepared the beans and rice were. The black beans were tender, and the rice was perfectly light. What really touched me occurred as we headed towards the door to depart. The front counter person wished us well, by name. They had taken note of my name for my food order, but it’s rare to find a place that uses your name for anything other than as a homing beacon for your order once its prepared. Los Autenticos keeps it classy. We don’t get a lot of Cuban faire here in North Carolina, so Los Autenticos was a real treat for us. Also! Make sure to check in on Unilocal before you order because they totally offer check-in deals.

Great things come in small packages and this place at the end of a small strip mall is a great representation of simple Cuban food done right. The Cuban sandwiches are excellent, but don’t pass on the mofungo either! Then top it off with a cortadito and you’re all set!

This place seems pretty authentic(like the name). It’s a small restaurant. The sandwiches are good and the shrimp plate was also very good. Folks are friendly. Service is a little slow but quality is good so no complaints from me on that. I would have preferred the sandwiches to be a little more juicy though and for that I knock off 1 star.

I came to this place because of all of the rave reviews. My experience has been mediocre. To start, the service was great. The guy at the front counter was very helpful, bring it was my first time here. I decided to go with the tops vieja with yellow rice and black beans and maduros. The black beans and maduros were good as well as the yellow rice. It’s the ropa vieja that killed my experience. It was extremely salty. That’s the only flavor it had, salt. I was highly disappointed because I had such high expectations. Since everything else was good, I’m giving it three stars, but had I had the ropa vieja alone it would definitely be 1 star.

I am usually not a huge fan of Cuban food, but this place was delicious!!! And so cheap! My husband brought me here, telling me in advance that this place was spectacular. I made the mistake of not ordering the Cuban because I being boring, but even my turkey sandwich was delicious. I tried my husband’s Cuban sandwich and wow, it was so melty and perfect. The guava pastry was also delightful, and the whole meal was less than $ 10. I can’t wait to go back and not only get my own Cuban sandwich, but also try the breakfast options.

Had breakfast — eggs, mixed w/ham, a piece of bread, and small coffee. That food was ok, nothing extraordinary stood. The Cuban coffee was good. Need some more right now… the guys behind the counter provided great service. Its a small corner suite in a plaza. Space is limited. I would come back again and try something different. Ultimately for this experience I would give 3.5 stars.

When it comes to Cuban sandwiches, I love this place. The servings are big and you get a side of plantain chips which are really yummy, too. You would assume that something that has just a few ingredients would be fairly consistent throughout restaurants, but not so. There is a huge difference and Los Autenticos does not disappoint. Go to the small, but full of taste, restaurant if you want a really good Cuban Sandwich.

I heart Cuban food so much. And Los Autenticos did not disappoint. I honestly can’t wait to go back and try more awesome food! Service was super friendly. I visited late in the afternoon, so unfortunately the ropa vieja was ALLGONE(*tear*). I got the pork with rice and beans and maduros. And café con leche to accompany it. The pork was slightly salty but oh so good. It was cooked with onions which I didn’t expect but were easy enough to shove aside and gave the meat a nice flavor. Rice and beans were standard. Maduros were great. I love ordering them since it feels like I’m getting dessert with my meal! The owner/manager asked me(BYNAME!) how my meal was. You don’t get any better customer service than that! Ropa vieja — I’m coming back for you soon!

I have been coming to this place for close to 5 years now. My wife stumbled on to this place when we were staying up the road in an apartment while house hunting. She brought be a Cuban sandwich and some black bean soup. I will have to say that is all I have ever eaten here since they have one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had outside of Miami. I was in the mood for one of their Cuban sandwiches and Black bean soup and decided to actually go dine there since up until now my wife has always gotten everything to go and brought it to me. Now that I have been there and seen what some of the others in the place were eating, I am looking forward to sampling the other items on the menu. If you have not been here before… Go check it out!
