Went there today for the first time. Nice, brand new shop, nice owners. Bought two cupcakes. One was a very decadent chocolate (sorry, I forgot the name — it was dark chocolate with small chocolate shavings on the chocolate icing), which was amazingly good. The second, which I haven’t tried yet, was amaretto, one of my favorite flavors. Will report back later. The first was moist and rich and the icing was just right in taste, texture, and amount. I am not a fan of a pound of icing on top of a little cupcake, nor of overly sweet things, so these cupcakes were ideal. I wish them well in their new endeavor!
Oh, they also make cakes and a few other bakery items. Hope to get to try them for a cake soon.

Must try cup cakes. Right balance of sweetness not too overpowering. Not only you can taste the flavors but you can actually smell them too. If you haven’t tried them yet then go try them and you will know exactly what I mean.

So I was driving on Semoran and I noticed that a new cupcake place opened up. As I walked in the store the smell of cupcakes and caked perfumed the store. They have the most amazing cupcakes and pastries I have tried. The Hazelnut was the bomb!!! I highly recommend picking up a special treat for that special someone or even treating yourself to one of her delightful pastries. Cant wait to have my next cupcake. So don’t walk but run since you will thank me later.

as a chocoholic who frequently traverses the greater orlando area indulging my dominant sweet tooth, my latest and favorite (and conveniently close to home) find, is pastella cakes! montezuma himself never imagined how the aztec’s precious cocoa beans would be used someday for delicacies such as french flakes and salted caramel topped chocolate cupcakes. its a struggle to limit myself to 2 cupcakes for my after-​dinner dessert treat. also, the bakery itself is clean, minimalist and modern with friendly, personalized service.

My mom ordered my sister’s baby shower cake from this bakery and it turned out so cute!!! The baker made the most detailed stroller as the topper. It was such a beautiful centerpiece to our party. Thank you

I just had a delicious small cupcake with my friends at 310 at the Bridal show. Pastella offered us an Amaretto based cake and a Belgian Chocolate with Salted Carmel icing! OMG! 10 Stars! They use all fresh and organic ingredients. Go enjoy. Fresh croissant and some coffee.

Wowzer! This little place in a new strip center on Semoran is great. Pastries, cupcakes, and full cakes. The owner/​chef has a culinary background and relies on top-​quality ingredients. Belgian chocolate. Madagascar vanilla, etc., The flakiest croissants I’ve ever had. Only been open a week, so they are still getting up to full steam… but definitely worth a special trip.

I have never had such delightful pastries and cupcakes. My favorite are the Raspberry Palmiers. I’m nine months pregnant and these are at the top of my cravings list. You can tell the ingredients are top quality and all of the flavors compliment one another. I’m not a big cupcake eater because usually the cake part falls short on tastiness, but at Pastella Cakes I swear I can taste fresh cocoa beans in the mix. Each bite is a delectable experience not just a treat. Definitely recommend! Two thumbs up… plus all eight other fingers waving on more to fulfill my cravings ;-)
