I truly love this location. The staff does an amazing job making you feel at home. The events they throw are fun and exciting. The prices are fair. The happy hour is great for saving money. The location is honestly flawless. If I had to pick a downside, I’d say it would be nice to see some more responses on Unilocal.I’m not sure who was doing it before, but they seem extremely professional and knowledgeable. 10⁄10 would visit again!

Absolutely nothing to critique. Service was amazing. The selection of beer was inspiring. Food was delicious. If I was a local, I would be here often. Nice selection of local Florida beers, Belgians, IPAs, stouts, and more. When will we get one of these in Alaska?

I’ve always been a great big fan of WOB. This place has quality bar foods and excellent beers on draft and some bottled/can speciality varieties. Our server, Grace, was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick and was very tasty! Hoping to come again soon!

Good beer selection(of course!) and now they also offer food. We had the wings with the Korean BBQ flavor and tried to order the pub fries with them but they were somehow out of fries. That’s a first! We had the tater tots instead. The wings were fine, pretty standard BBQ, with some sesame seeds thrown on for the«Korean» aspect. The tater tots were standard tots. The blue cheese dressing was better than average, though.

I’m a regular patron at World of Beer and normally I get good service. Tonight was not one of those nights. My partner and I arrived and sat down. Business was a little heavy, but it clearly was not a Friday night. After about ten minutes of making eye contact with two different servers without so much as a «hello» we start to look around for a server. What do we see? Two servers fighting over who is going to be unfortunate enough to take our table. I understand that there can be disagreement about work loads among coworkers. But you’re supposed to let workplace disagreements go when interacting with customers. Our server, Jordan, did not. She made no attempt to hide her disdain for the fact that she got stuck with us. Her voice sounded cordial, but her facial expression let us know we were not wanted in her section. That would have been fine too, if only her service didn’t match her facial expression. After she dropped off the food and our beers, we didn’t see her again — for a long time. We sat with empty plates and glasses for about ten minutes before she showed up again and asked if she could get us anything else — mind you, her rude facial expression never changed. I had planned to order a second beer, but after that final encounter with Jordan, I changed my mind. World of beer, you would do well to train your servers to be professional and keep their disagreements out of view of the customers, because this ruined what I had hoped would be a relaxing evening out.

I’m not a huge fan of beer but there is a small wine selection. I enjoyed a few 9 oz glasses of sauvignon blanc. After two glasses, the bartender forgot that I wanted to switch over to 6 oz glass, and generously gave me a 9 oz for a 6 oz price. It’s a cool spot to hang out with one friend or a small group in a more intimate setting. There was even a live band that was playing that sounded really good.

Stopped in for a quick one while my wife was shopping… Now I want her to do more shopping! It is tough to choose A beer when you are under a time limit. The bartender was helpful and set me two samples, I made my choice and happiness began! Will return ASAP!!! «Honey do you want to go shopping?»

I need one of these closer to me. There just so much fun… I live in California and was there for a weekend. Nowhere better to sit back try a bunch of great beers at a great price and watch some football games. Service is great and always smiling and they even had my wife try many different beers till she found the one that she loved. Thanks again you guys are the best

Who doesn’t like a big beer selection. Over priced? Maybe Over Kill? Yes Over It? Nahhh. It is what it is, lots of beer and decent pub food.

What a great place!!! A vast selection of beers, reasonably priced for the product served, and a very knowledgeable staff. Really! The bartender who served me really knew allot about the beers on tap! The noise level was quite acceptable(granted, I was there just at the beginning of Happy Hour. .. 3:00 p.m. so there was only a dozen or so other patrons in the place at the time. I was greeted at the door by a person I assumed to be the manager; a touch that truly made my wife and I feel welcome. Had a GREAT time there and cannot wait to go back.

This was my first time visiting any World of Beer location, and while I will probably visit other locations in the future I will never patronize this location again. The beer selection is vast, if not overpriced for the market. The food is ok for the price. I have been to many, many bars all over the US and have never experienced the level of poor customer service, or poor service in general, as i have experienced here. The bar staff is slow, 10 people at the bar 2 bartenders and it takes 5 minutes to grab a bottle of beer and open it. How many times should I remind you? I ordered food. It sat in the window for 10 minutes, until I was able to get the attention of someone working in the kitchen, to bring it to me. That wasn’t his job. The bartenders were to busy staring at the ceiling to realize my order was up. This place is a joke. And that is sad, because a bar is supposed to be a fun relaxing place to be. Instead they make you feel like you aren’t welcome and don’t want you to be at the bar. Great potential wasted on terrible management and employees. Avoid this venue at all costs. Go anywhere else. Drink a 40 on the sidewalk and have a better time.

A great after work get together place especially for close by Universal employees and visitors where both beer and food can be enjoyed into the night with friends. I’m not a big beer person but our server, Nancy was kind enough to bring me samples in cute little glasses that she thought I might like despite my lack of knowledge, one especially good one being a blueberry wheat beer. I ended up ordering ~$ 7 shrimp tacos which were decent as well, crunchy and filling but a little bit too much filler lettuce. Five stars for the atmosphere, selection, and great service even for novice beer drinkers.

Just visited this location today(Sunday, Feb. 15th) after hitting up Universal/Islands. Very pleasant experience overall! It was pretty busy — for one server — at 2 pm. I liked the atmosphere — good amount of TVs, brick work all around, tap handles lining the ceiling, small/skinny yet nice outdoor patio with heating lamps, pretty clean bathroom– it’s a beer house feel, for sure! Our server Grace was very nice and apologized for the 10 or so minute wait since she was the only server working at the time. Understandable. She was very helpful and attentive and recommended some good beers/eats! I had the German pretzel with beer cheese… It was SO good. I mean, I had some at the parks but obviously those were nothing compared to this house made pretzel and dip– and this thing was HUGE and FRESH! I shared with 2 friends and I was still kind of full from it. The beer cheese dip is just great! I believe there were some jalapeños infused. It is literally the best pretzel and cheese dip I have ever tasted…$ 10 but worth it IMHO. I tried the hot bbq wings and those were reeeeaaally good as well. Thick and extremely flavorful sauce(not that spicy), good amount of meat on there, and TENDER. The steak fries were also great– THICK and crispy, just how I like them. We had two beer flights, one full beer(Breckenridge Vanilla Porter Nitro) my dish, the fried pickles, and two shrimp tacos and bill came out to around $ 66. I’d say the quality of food was up there, — top notch stuff. Everyone was more than pleased. My ONLY complaint would be that the beers should have been quite a bit COLDER! Taking one star away for that– that’s pretty inexcusable. But, will be back when in this area and would recommend to anyone local or visiting.

With a name like World of Beer, the beer selection is definitely a huge one. There is a large draft drink menu that changes often(i believe daily.). As well as a huge binder of their bottle beer. For people that aren’t beer connoisseurs, I’d have to say that it can be very intimidating when going through the huge binder that they have. ***Personal opinion: they need to break up the binder by types of beer, instead of by country. Would make it alot easier to read for people that know what kind of beers they like. I enjoy dark beers, stouts and porters, the binder was too cumbersome and I ended up getting one of my regular beers. Wanted to also mention that this location has a food menu, I’ve been to a couple of other locations and have never seen that, may be a new thing? And only for certain locations. But it worked out for us because we wanted food. So that was a plus. Now don’t go here expecting 5star meals. I tried the steak salad, it wasn’t bad. Good portion size but needed more dressing. Was a little bland. Overall the experience was good. We ended up sitting outside and I had to find the server that worked the area. There really isn’t anyone at the door so it took a few minutes to get helped but our server was attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. The prices seemed comparable to other places I’ve been to. Nice casual environment. I would go again next time I visit Orlando.

They continue to have a wide selection of draft and bottled beer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our bartender was happy to go through the wide selection, noting some of the beers that might better fit a certain taste. Now, they also offer a selection of pub/bar food and sandwiches, which is a nice addition!

Came here earlier than usual Had my usual a sangria as I don’t like beer. The red sangria amazing you can’t even taste the alcohol so that might get you in trouble lol They serve food now which they did not before, your typical bar food. It’s a nice local hangout spot as the bartenders will let you try any beer or ale on tap. At night on the weekend they have local bands play so it gets packed

I’m pretty sad. The location and feel of this World of Beer was my favorite. I looked forward to pairing beers withy Flippers pizza. Until the day they started offering food and no longer let in outside food. I got in one last outside food pizza before, but it saddens me. The limit on their food only — made in a small kitchen — is never what WoB has been about for me. We have always loved being able to get random food if we want, and loved that WoB just kept their focus on good beer. A lot of WoBs do not do this — but they are moving towards it. That being said, they still have good beer here and a lovely location, but a huge knock for this location for the ‘tavern fare’.

We were meeting a friend for dinner & after getting finished at the mall, we had some time to kill so we went in search of beer. World of Beer can satisfy any beer lovers need and since it was close to our final destination, it seemed like the perfect respite. They weren’t too busy when we arrived that afternoon, we grabbed ourselves a table in the back corner booth area and began to peruse the menu. Our server was fabulous and kept just the right tabs on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. It’s a great space with a decent view. It’s in an outparcel of a shopping area on Dr. Phillips, so after walking through the stores, you can stop in and put your feet up. I have a feeling they have started(or will soon start) serving their own food because when we were there they had posted signs saying that the allowance of outside food was coming to an end. The one near us in Jacksonville serves food. Standard bar fare, but always satisfying.
