purchased 2 coats there this year. I am very satisfied with their attentiveness, followup and pricing. They are community supporters and I’m glad to support a local busineds who gives back and provides a good product. fantastic! amazing customer service! from the purchase of my first coat in 89 to multiple since! so helpful! great ideas and so full of knowledge! i’ve brought in multiple friends! their inventory is great & will appeal to many tastes & price ranges. great vests & accessories too! fun leather coats as well! not just all fur! will help guide new fur buyers or if you have no clue about a gift for your special woman! ask for phil, he’s great! :)

I have purchased many furs from Alaskan since the late ’70’s. They have weathered many years and some have later been restyled to meet current fashion. The owners, Myron and Phil Wang, are always welcoming and tremendously helpful. I highly recommend Alaskan Fur.

Would not recommend. I took a leather jacket that I bought somewhere else to be cleaned and treated. They were very pretentious, belittling my coat and trying to sell me something from there inventory to replace it. The salesmen were obnoxious and aggressive. The lady at the front desk had a screw loose. I don’t know how this store is still open. When I got my coat back I was not impressed with the job they did. It cost a lot and took a long time. Was definitely not worth the 80 I spent to have the work done.

I was very disappointed by the lack of reponsiveness to a problem that I had with this company after I bought two coats from their store in Minneapolis before it closed.
I called their headquarters in Kansas City twice and both times my simple issue was not resolved.
Poor customer relations and not responsive.
I would go elsewhere to purchase a coat.
