Bring back Fuji express. This place is just not good, the menu is unreadable and doesn’t seem to relate to any actual dishes.

I’ve been looking for an authentic Chinese place in Oxford(not American Chinese like Wild Bistro or Phan Shin). I was definitely not disappointed. The braised fish with chili was excellent, and they use real Sichuan peppercorns(you can feel the numbness on your tongue). The eggplant was also very good. The service is about what I expected from an authentic Chinese restaurant, nothing special, but the food makes it worth it.

Well… When we came today, about 50% of the menu was not available. Serious inventory problems.

I just had the worst service I ever had in a restaurant. I had to ask for water after I sat down with my friends who were already there. After the food is served, we have to keep asking for refill, and the person there was just basically siting at one of the tables and surfing on the Internet with his laptop. The food is quite authentic but overly seasoned. The chicken dish I had wasn’t fresh and definitely overlooked, even though my friends’ food seem not to have any problem. After this experience, I will never go there again.

I called to place my order, and was told«Sorry, No English.» So I drove over, because I wanted to try it. Very nice young woman took my order mostly by watching me point at the menu, and then it was ready in about 20 minutes, which isn’t unreasonable. The chicken dishes are gross – very unpleasant cuts of meat. The fried rice is okay, the singapore noodles were meh. The lo mein was by far the best thing we got, but I can’t seem to find it on the menu, and since I got that basically by luck, I’ve no idea how one would order it again. Ultimately not the worst, but cannot recommend.

This place is much better than Wild Bistro, and even gives Yum Yum a run for its money. I’ve had the kung pao chicken, the Gele Shan spicy chicken, the scallion pancakes, the mapo tofu, and a few other things, most of which have been excellent. My only issue with this place is that I never know what to order, because the dishes on the authentic menu are described very minimally, although I realize that this menu is primarily for the benefit of people who can read Chinese.

This place tops wild bistro on both prices and variety. Love that they have an «American» style entrée menu and a more traditional menu with entrees meant for sharing. The food is delicious and decently priced, will be coming back often!

I would give it 0 star if there is that choice. Even though some of the dishes looks good, but tastes really not as good as it looks. The other thing I want to let you guys noticed is its price. It probably is the most expensive Chinese restaurant in oxford. We have 3 people and paid 75bucks but still not satisfied. Each person on average May need two dishes, and the average price for a dish is around 13. Besides, they will take 15 percent tips automatically into your bill without informing you. I actually paid twice because of this.
