If you havent been to an in and out… It’s the most PIPEDUP fastfood burger spot in the universe. Sometimes a long wait but that’s sometimes what you have to deal with for GREATNESS. Add some bacon to the menu and they get 5 stars! And always loud af inside…

I’ve always been impressed with the customer service at this particular In N Out, but definitely NOT recently. The drive thru line was long, therefore they had one of their employees outside taking orders by the car instead of using the typical speaker. I ordered a hamburger meal with a «Chocolate-Vanilla shake»(insert hand motion swirling them around) instead of a soda. When their employee told me my order would cost $ 9+ I knew there was something wrong. I repeated that I wanted the two swirled together, not 2 separate shakes. After making this correction, she told me to tell the guy at the window of the change and they would be able to fix it. When I pulled up to the window, I told him that there was a misunderstanding and that I wanted just one shake that was half chocolate and half vanilla. He said okay and that he would need to have someone come over and help him. The bill was still $ 9+. I only wanted 1 shake, not 2. He called his manager over again. The bill was STILL $ 9+. He said that he was sorry, but the mistake was made. I told him that I didn’t want two shakes and that I’m not paying for them. He told me, «My manager is just mean.» Your manager is not just mean, he is unethical. At two separate points I told their employees that I wanted just 1 shake, NOT2 and they said it was THEIR mistake and would correct it. Correcting your mistake means that you DON’T charge the customer for something that they DIDN’T order and DIDN’T want in the first place. Sorry to say it, I’m greatly disappointed.

There are so few times I ever write a negative review. And I suspect most the time the food lives up to the reputation on Unilocal, but when I waited 10 minutes to order, then 15 minutes for them to call my number(which actually they never really did I had to go to the counter to ask when they went pass my number without calling it), only to end up with cold french fries, it doesn’t seem like it was worth the wait.

French fries are nothing to write home about but the burgers are good. I like animal style on the infrequent occasion when I do eat in-n-out. It’s fast food, take it or leave it.

Craving something simply satisfying? Innout always hits the spot at any time of the day. Animal fries like a meal in itself. Not because they are filling but because the onions provide a taste of sweetness and a hint of grill and the spread adds a creaminess and the fries adds saltiness. Never a dull moment and always leaves you satisfied.

I’m from the east coast so eating at in and out was on my list of things to do while in San Diego. I was a little put off by the LONG line! But it was worth the wait. I was told by a local friend to ask for the hamburger animal style. Delish! Special spread with grilled onions, it definitely didn’t feel like a fast food burger. The fries were all right, nothing out of the ordinary, but with the special spread, it was a unique twist. I also had a strawberry shake, which was creamy, smooth and just the right consistency. The burgers definitely beat other fast food places!

I love In N Out Burger because the food is so fresh and simple. Burgers are all about freshness and great meat. I love coming here and enjoy the whole experience. I would say this particular location is a bit hard to get to and really busy most of the time, but if you love a fresh burger and fries at a great price, this is the place. Try animal style instead of cheese on your burger. It is great.

I’m always amazed by how long the line can get at In-N-Out. But I can’t blame the business. They are wonderfully pro-active about getting workers out in the line taking orders. #1 with chocolate shake and animal french fries.

Let me start by saying: I am In n Out Burgers biggest fan. Five stars all the way. I’m addicted to the burgers and fries. They have the best root beer in town. The only drawback to this particular location is how small it is. They don’t have the staff or space to run high volumes. The drive-thru line is ridiculously long and takes a ridiculously long time. It forces you to go into the building to get a to-go order, and even then it takes a long time because the lines are so long. Sometimes I drive to the Rosecrans location just to get quicker service. Expand, it would be worth it! I support you!

I remember a time when In-N-Out was the cream of the crop in fast food service, but recently this location seems to be on a slow backslide. The quality of the food is still fairly consistent, but the enthusiasm of the employees seems to be lacking. The burgers are always good, but as has always been the case, the fries are cold after just a 4 minute drive home. What it really comes down to is the fact that it takes 20 – 25 minutes to go thru the drive thru at 9 or 10PM, which I haven’t minded when greeted with top notch service and great food, but I have been wholly underwhelmed lately and will probably cut this location out of the rotation for a while.

Is there anything bad to say about In N Out? I feel bad for those East Coasters that don’t know any better than White Castle or some other garbage. Anyway, this location is great. Super close to freeway. I expect another location to end up in near Mission Blvd in PB cus this is the closest from the drinkers and that’s not good enough. Only frustrating thing I find at In N Out’s is that the spread packets get slippery and are IMPOSSIBLE to open if your fingers are greasy from fries and/or the burger. Other than that, In N Out is never a bad decision!

I love in-n-out, but i find that im not really in and out of this location very quickly. The staff works hard to keep up with orders but the drive through takes days to get through. Avoid the drive through during peak hours, I spent 20 minutes to place my order with the staff member that was standing in the cold and then another 30 minutes to actually get my food. I do have a semi complicated order but it still shouldn’t take that long Food is typical of any in-n-out and service is great! I just dont enjoy waiting while the aroma of in-n-out teases your senses

Steve, the manager keeps this place humming. The employees are friendly and courteous, I don’t mind the line because that burger is worth the wait! Hint: Park on the street and go inside it’s faster!

This place is pretty much always packed because it’s the closest In-N-Out to UCSD. Considering their amazing food at cheap prices, college students will FLOCK here. I definitely prefer going into the restaurant rather than the drive-thru because the drive-thru is always packed. There’s usually a person standing at the end of the line taking orders, but I feel like it’s such a waste of gas to just leave your car running for 20+ minutes. Anyway, parking here can be difficult because it’s a really small lot. The lot in the back of the restaurant is usually blocked off by the drive-thru line. The trick is to just pretty much park your car in the lot and wait for someone to leave. It usually only takes a few minutes to people-stalk and I’ve never really had a problem with scoring a parking spot. THEFOOD: My order is ALWAYS a hamburger animal style with extra lettuce and a side of well-done fries. My burger is always perfect but the well-done fries often varies. It really depends on who fries them because sometimes they’re extremely well-done and sometimes it’s just barely fried more than the normal ones. Honestly, the food is so good here that I don’t even really mind. In-N-Out is great because they’ll pretty much custom-make any order you want. Most of the time they won’t charge you extra(except for animal fries and extra meat/cheese). I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at any In-N-Out because they’re just so amazing at serving consistently great food and service.

Date of visit: 8÷16÷2015 For those of you who read my reviews, you probably know by now that I’m a huge fan of In N Out. This hamburger chain is my guilty pleasure and is consistent despite what location you go through. The drive thru at this In N Out is usually pretty long, but during this afternoon, they had an employee taking orders before the window. This made getting our food much faster and allowed us to avoid the dining room. Cam is not a fan of In N Out’s dining room because they always seem like cafeterias more than restaurants. We got our order in an open box, which allowed me to eat my hamburger on the way home(I was hungry). I’m trying to cut down on my calorie consumption, so we split an order of fries, but I was definitely ready to eat my own order. Still love In N Out and other than the wait times, I’ve never had anything bad to say. It’s a definite comfort food for me.

For some reason, this location is always packed so be prepared! It can be faster to go inside than to wait in the drive through. Maybe it’s because of the proximity to the freeway but who knows. Regardless, they never disappoint. Always quality just like you expect from in n out. Go for the animal style fries and the Neapolitan shake to add with any order!

Right off of Interstate 5, the parking lot is really tight but hey, this is California. A lot of local people here and I noticed that they had items that were ordered from the«secret menu», like the fries smothered in cheese and animal style sauce(which is really similar to thousand island dressing). I was taking a few pics of the food and the restaurant and the table next to me(group of young adults) were stating that they had been coming to this restaurant since they were little kids and that the place and food weren’t really a big deal. I got a little emotional(having been In-N-Out deprived for the majority of my lifetime thus far) but I kept it to myself because this place and the burgers are a really big deal to me. I enjoy them, they taste great each and every time I have them(whether in Vegas, LA, Cerritos, the Bay area) and they make them consistently. So this leads me to my next statement — Jollibee(of the Philippines) is opening in Skokie, IL(2016) — and so is Shake Shack. In-N-Out, I challenge you to seize the moment to bust out of your West coast shell, this is your time to open up a location here in Skokie, IL as well. Do your feasibility study — it’s a no brainer.

Factory fast food beef sizzles on griddle french fries dripping oil. I was all ready for leftovers for lunch till a co-worker came by and asked if I wanted to go to In N Out. Guess the leftovers can wait till tomorrow. Double meat with lettuce and tomato. Nicely toasted bun. Good tasting lettuce and tomato. Meat was well seasoned. Best burger I’ve had for $ 3. I’ve tried Mcdonald’s, Jack In the Box, Burger King, Five Guys, and Carl’s Jr. This burger has the best flavor. Shoe string french fries had a good crunch and very good flavor. Service was speedy at 11am. I’d come here again as long as there wasn’t a huge line.

If you’re visiting SoCal, eating at In-N-Out should be on top of your list. Mmm mmm good, but also mmm mmm inexpensive. This is my favorite In-N-Out location, hands down!!! Why? It has the fastest drive-through! Although most of the In-N-Out Burgers are fast, this one in particular moves quickly. I recently went to an In-N-Out in Orange County that didn’t have a drive-through and I was a little disappointed because I’m so spoiled by this In-N-Out. It just didn’t feel right going to another location, especially to one that didn’t have the convenience of ordering from your car… I felt like I was cheating on this one or something, lol! Cheeseburger animal style(with BOTH grilled and regular onions) and well-done fries is what I usually order. I would definitely try the well-done fries(you have to ask for it, as it’s not on the regular menu). Yes, they have a secret menu: Animal Style burger of your choice with hand-leafed lettuce, tomato, a mustard cooked beef patty; add pickle, extra spread with grilled onions Protein Style your favorite burger wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce instead of a bun Also: 3×3 4x4…etc…etc… Their shakes are all good, but chocolate is my favorite. For under $ 10, my husband and I can have a decent meal. This location is a little hidden behind the 5 freeway, but keep on the right so you won’t accidentally get on the freeway. Hey, wait a minute, maybe that’s why I get my burgers quickly – tourists can’t find it… lol, j/k!
