We just finished hiking nearby and needed to grab lunch before heading back to the South Bay. We had the Upper Crust Dog, Smoked Turkey and Bacon, and Italian meatball. I’m already looking forward to finding a reason to come back up here. Service was quick, the people were friendly. Food was delicious. Not tons of seating, but you can take your food to go as well. So good!

Super disappointed in the quality of food coming out. This used to be my go-to deli in Pacifica and the last few times I’ve been, I regretted it. The onion rings are now frozen, burger king looking onion rings, same with the fries, but still paying homemade price. The deli counter looks really sad and when I glanced inside there was potato salad with last weeks date on it. Come on man! Get back to the good quality food you used to have!

It’s so weird because I swear I already wrote a review for Upper Crust after I went there but maybe I just wrote it in my head… Anyway the food here is great and the prices are good n cheap, which makes for an ideal sandwich shop. Skip the line a Little Luca’s and come over here and get a Sunny Pacifica sandwich. I thought the cucumbers on the list of ingredients sounded a little bit random, but when I ate it, it just made so much sense. I mentioned how good it was to the owner on the way out and he was like«The cucumber really makes it right?!» The Spicy Diamond is also a winner but it’s not on the menu, but I got you boo. I’m keepin you in the know.

Upper Crust is great. I have been coming here at least once a week, usually getting the same sandwich.

God the Upper Crust Burger is good. Friendly staff as well. My girlfriend is Vegan and they were able to accommodate her nicely which is a huge bonus. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a visit if you haven’t already

Fantastic sandwiches made with love. All the classic sandwich options, plus some specialties — I especially adore the Terra Nova Tiger, and the falafel with spicy 1000 island dressing. I have never had a bad sandwich from this place! The owner, Ray, is incredibly hard-working and conscientious, and he stocks a great selection of drinks and snacks to go along with the tasty sandwiches. I recommend picking something up here for a picnic in the nearby, amazing San Pedro Valley County Park — you can walk there from this shop.

I go there for lunch all the time. Pro Tip: get the 10 sandwhich(or 10 bagel) punch card. Also call your order in and you will be in and out very fast. Good selection of hot and cold sandwhiches. House oven roasted Turkey 2 days a week(Tue and Friday if I’m not mistaken). My personal favorite is the 2 Bridges. The sourdough roll is nice and chewey, the dutch crunch is softer without being too soft. Cheesesteaks are very good, especially for the $ 7 price range. Add the steak fries! There is a lot of good deli and hot meat sandwhiches that are very well priced and prepared and beats all the other sandwhich shops in the area.

So sad. Last sandwich I had there had spoiled tomato sauce. Previous times have been awesome, but ugh the tomato sauce tasted bad, and when I smelled it, it smelled bad. Staff needs to be on top of this. I’m lucky I didn’t get sick.

This place is a great little treasure and within walking distance of my home. The sammies are delish and you can trust the combinations on the menu.

One of the best sandwich places in the Peninsula. My buddy who works for the city of Pacifica brought me here and it is amazing. They use good ingredients and their breads are excellent. It is in the back of Linda Mar but worth the drive.

I board my horse up the street from here and this is one of my go to spots when I’m hungry. Everything on the menu is awesome. Its never an issue if I have to substitute because of food allergies. and the staff is friendly. They always ask how my day is, how the horses are, etc. My absolute fave is their egg salad. Made fresh to order so it is never sitting around, but you really cant go wrong with anything on this creative menu. this place is a well kept secret

The prices are exactly what one would want from a sandwich shop and the food is even better. In SF this place would charge at least ten bucks for every sandwich. Today I ordered the chicken philly($ 7.50) and it was the best one I have had in years. That is really saying something. I didn’t think I’d find one like this outside my own kitchen. Got steak cut fries with it and they were the perfect mixture of salty and crisp, gewy goodness. Potatoes fried the way they are supposed to be. Hell maybe even better than I make at home. Definitely faster ;) Maybe I should have given them the benefit of the doubt but you never know in the Bay Area. Even when you’ve been somewhere before, everything can change the following day. Awesomely enough, these guys are not hit or miss. They consistantly impress me. Ray’s manburger is an unreal portion guaranteed to satisfy even gluttons like myself. The terra nova special is sick awesome as are the clubs and, truth be told, I’m pretty sure everything I’ve ever ordered here has beat my expectations. And I’m kind of a food jerk. Shrug. I want good food at a good price. Lock me up. I’m in the area often and it’s just so damn cool that I have a bad ass sandwich place that I can count on to give me what I crave for a good price. I almost never feel like I’m getting a deal when I eat out anymore. That makes sense as most things elsewhere are priced in line with the awesomeness they deliver, when they are good at what they do, and when they aren’t, they still charge as if they were serving up fillet mignon. Not here. You get more than you pay for, by friendly staff, in pretty quick fashion, and it always tastes freaking awesome. I wish there were more places in the bay I could say that about. I’m really happy these guys are here. Heh. Actually makes my day better. Thanks guys. Appreciation and respect. Be back in a couple days. Keep it up!!!

Tucked in the deeper end of Pacifica, I never know this place existed. Usually I just go to Colombo’s. We went here around 1pm on a Saturday and the line suddenly became long after we placed our order. I like the hot sandwiches selection that they have. I got the chicken ranch melt. My bf got the philly cheese steak. It takes 10 – 15 minutes to get our sandwiches. Our sandwiches looked really yummy, however the chicken ranch melt needs salt(or more flavor in general). I think the problem is that the bacon isn’t salty. I need to ask for a bottle of Tabasco to spice my sandwich a bit. The philly cheese steak tastes better. Will go back to try other stuff!

Skip to second paragraph for actual review. My fiancé and I love going to the coast, whether its Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, SF, Santa Cruz. This day we took my motorcycle to the Cliff House in SF and worked our way down the coast. As we got closer to Pacifica we got hungry. I pulled over in Pacifica and checked out my Unilocal!app for restaurants near by, this one stood out to me because of the great reviews and seeing the large menu in the Unilocal!photos. I knew both me and my fiancé could find something. We get there and it is a little hole in the wall. It looks like an old liquor store that converted into a deli but they still have some of the liquor store things there like large beverage refrigerators. Immediately my fiancé looks at me with the«are we doing this?» and I say hell yeah. So it is a bit of a dive(Its really not bad), but you can tell all the locals stop in. The menu is enormous, you will find something to eat. We ordered a turkey club and a eggplant sandwich. The Turkey club was executed perfectly the bacon was crispy and delicious, the pepper jack cheese really helped as well. The eggplant had tahini, cucumbers, eggplant and more. It was a bit spicy but filled with flavor. We wished we ordered some curly fries after we saw some come out… Next time! Definitely recommend it!

Best sandwiches in Pacifica. I’ve tried at least a half-dozen different kinds — I’m partial to the ironically named«Sunny Pacifica» — and have yet to have an average sammy. I’ll challenge anyone who thinks differently to a sandwich-off. You can keep your Colombos and use it as bait off The Pier. Upper Crust is where it’s at, sucka! On a side note, their burgers and fries are pretty tasty too.
