went there for saturday lunch. seemed quiet and slow at the restaurant. we were promptly seated and were given some hot broth. ordered dumplings and mool naegmyun. the dumplings were mediocre and naegmyun was slightly above average. side dishes were lacking in variety and also tasted mediocre. it’s an OK place for so-so korean food with pretty good service. i would like to try their marinated soysauce crabs next time.

When it comes to cold noodles. This is the PLACE. Traditional no msg. homemade everything. What else can you ask for these days in restaurants. We come here at least twice a month. The owner is the chef. He make his dishes with heart and soul. We luv coming here

The Naengmyun is a cold soup noodle dish which is not really my cup of tea. It certainly wasn’t bad, but I also have no desire to ever order it again. The somewhat slimy texture of the noodles just doesn’t agree with me. The dish did have some chopped up pieces of Korean pear in the soup which was a pleasant surprise. Prices were completely fair and the portions are huge. I couldn’t finish. If Naengmyun is something you are into, you can’t seem to go wrong here.

Great little find at the peak of Palisades park. No korean bbq, just naengmyun and soups, which is a great change of pace from the typical places found in pal park. Their menu keeps it real simple with only a handful of choices. On top of the list were mul naengmyung, bibim naengmyun(hence their name), wang mandoo(king dumplings), yukgaejang, dduk/mandoo gook(rice cake/dumpling soup), and some others. Our table actually ordered each of the items I mentioned and they were all delicious. Got an ordered of wang mandoo’s for the table and they weren’t as big as I thought they would be and was the veggie kind. Still good, but I need my meat: P. The banchan they served were good too, very simple, just a few things and they kept refilling the ones that were empty. Their naengmyuns were cold and sweet, just what you need on a hot summer day. Bibim naengmyun on the spicier side, but a little sweet where as the mul naengmyun is ice cold and sweet. I really liked the yukgaejang the best. It was bright red and was just as spicy as it looked. The portions were large enough to satisfy everyone and the service was awesome(although, we were the only people in there on a monday night).
