Wonderful dining experience. This place is a real gem, with nearly a one hundred year history. The dining booths appear to be the awkward originals, common three plus generations ago. The scallops and jumbo shrimp were just wonderful, as were the mushrooms. Beautiful location as well — in the tony part of Palm Beach. Well worth stopping in. Very reasonably priced dinner menu, and what appeared to be a healthy wine selection too.

What more can I say about the best drinks bar and great fooderie that has been in business for 95 years? Everything is spot on perfect. I’ve never had anything but the best of the best at Testa’s, a real Palm Beach landmark.

For breakfast food– you can and should find much better in Palm Beach. I ordered two poached eggs and substituted the bacon for sliced tomatoes and was up charged 3.00 for 3 skinny slices. Service was nice. People watching is great. But not a place I would return to– maybe ever.

Its expensive(100 $ for dinner for 2) but so worth it. And I am frugal so thats saying alot. The waitress was so pleasant and good at her job it added to the already phenomenal food. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Check it out!

I came to Testa’s for a wedding rehearsal dinner and I was impressed. The area reserved for private parties is perfect for a medium size group(see the pics I posted). And the service was excellent. Kudos to both Kerry and Tessa on a job very well done. Tessa is friendly, helpful and efficient, Kerry is not only an excellent server but he can adjust to the tone of the table he is serving(us!) and has a great sense of humor! I ordered eggplant rolatini that was good but not as flavorful as at other venues I have visited. The pasta(linguine) that came with the entrée was cooked well but the sauce was a bit bland for my taste. Others who had the salmon said it was very good but the sauce on it was a bit spicy… go figure! Also on the menu for the dinner was veal that from those who ordered it was apparently excellent. Again thank you Testa for helping make our party a success!

Came here for lunch after a drive from delray beach to west palm for the day. Just chose the place based on vibe of people sitting outside. Food, service was great! Had a glass of Chardonnay and the crab cake sandwich which was delicious with large pieces of lump crab. It was served with a lobster cream sauce which was different and delicious. The French fries were exceptional. Extra crispy on the outside. Yum. My friend had the turkey Ruben which was also delicious. No complaints here. Lunch prices a bit pricy but not out of the ordinary.(crab cake sandwich — 20.00. Well worth it!

I expect inflated prices for a prize view of passing Maseratis and Bentleys when I dine at the patio at Testa’s, but yesterday at breakfast when I was about to order a third egg to go with my hash and eggs, I was shell shocked. Price for the extra single egg was $ 3.99! I just think that kind of pricing is a gouging insult. Call me too sensitive but I got up and departed, explaining why to the hostess on the way out.

The restaurant is in need of a serious facelift. Very dated décor will not set the mood for your dining experience. Food is just average at best. Waitstaff is very attentive and courtesy. My advice is to try another Italian place when dining in Palm Beach.

Three of us had breakfast here for our first day in Palm Beach. I had the Jumbo Breakfast and it was all made to my liking. My daughter had the Breakfast Casserole and it was delicious. My wife loved the Flatbread Breakfast Pizza. Service was courteous and attentive. Great place to have breakfast and looking to check it out for dinner as well.

Went there for lunch with a colleague. Had the brisket Reuben sandwich with fries and a cup of cream of crab soup to start. Everything was delicious and well portioned. Prices were reasonable for Palm Beach. We sat outside under the awning and will certainly be back. Service wasn’t the fastest but we were in no hurry and it was crowded. I highly recommend. And we found 1 hour parking on the street right out front.

We had breakfast it was average, potatoes had a funny taste, the spinach feta omelette was good. We were seated outside so we could enjoy the beautiful weather and nice view.

If the walls could speak… lot’s of history here. Family owned about 95 years now. It’s the most reasonable(price wise) place to dine on the island. I hope they never remodel it. Campy. I usually dine outside and you get to people watch, and I’ve seen more than my fair share of celebs here. Always good service, and the food is good, not great, but over all I think it deserves a four. For some reason, when I moved here 8 years ago, this became my lunch spot for a long time. I still go frequently. It’s fun, and doesn’t break the bank.

TESTA’S! It’s a classic that should always remain a staple in Palm Beach. Stick with the appetizers and sides for dinner, get the fresh fish sandwich for lunch. Sit inside if you like 40’s-50’s tunes and an old school feeling. Breakfast on the patio is always a winner. Or just come for a cocktail at the bar and gab with the locals. For people-watching, NOTHING beats Testa’s on beautiful Royal Poinciana Way. It’s actually a great place for vegetarians! Dismal, uninspired, not cheap but sloppily prepared(although I doubt they know the difference). Eggs tasted like the grill had not been recently cleaned, and had the taste of the shortening. The breakfast potatoes were soggy. The butter on the toast tasted weird. Yikes — not a good place for breakfast. Coffee was so-so. No sugar-in-the-raw. Frankly, the waitress should have shown that sorry looking plate of food to the manager before she brought it to the table — and the manager at that point could have handed it back to the cook.

So driving back down from visiting Orlando, we decided to stop for Italian food. What a treat this was for us. The facility was very clean, and we were sat right away. I had the CHICKENCACCIATORE, and my partner had the CRUSTEDVEAL, yum, yum, yum. We started out with a salad, and were anxiously awaiting our entrée, which did not disappoint! The pricing was very reasonable and the table, linens, and service were impeccable. Our server, Kerry Steiner, was very knowledgable on the menu and suggested the perfect wine, Night Harvest White Zinfandel. Thank you Kerry for your perfect suggestions. Since we were having such a great experience, we stayed for dessert, chocolate cake and a key lime pie, awesome! Thanks again for the suggestions! All in all we had a fantastic time to follow a fun filled weekend in Orlando. If you live near this restaurant, or are traveling through, don’t miss it. We WILL be back. Thank you Kerry and the wonderful staff.

We really enjoyed Testa’s. We stopped in for lunch one day and breakfast a couple of days later. It’s a nice short walk from the Breakers. Outdoor seating seems to be readily available. It’s a very relaxing laid back setting for delicious food. The corvina fish sandwich and key lime pie really hit the spot.
