Leeds & Son never fails to amaze me, I’ve never felt such like family as I do at Leeds, I guess that’s why they’ve been around for 70 yrs…
Trust is probably the most important part of buying fine jewelry and watches, and Leeds has proven over & over to be the utmost in trust, professionalism and personal attention.

Leed’s is my «go-​to» jewelry store for all my needs…

I had such a great time going into Leeds & Son with my Girlfriend looking at engagement rings! Everyone there was so nice and helpful! They catered to us so well and answered any questions we have.
Out the 5+ jewelers we went to they were the only ones that took their time with us. They explained everything very simply and in layman’s terms for us to understand what we were looking at, what we should look for, and what we were capable of affording.
I love working with local businesses and if you’re in the market for fine jewelry I highly recommend Leeds & Son Fine Jewelers!

Super expensive place, have a Rolex that needs a pin made. They want $ 85 bucks and need 3 weeks. That is crazy… Everyone else in town can make it one day. Desert stores can be so arrogant. They also want $ 500 to service it complete. Others want $ 150.00 to service. Ferrari mechanics I guess… White coats get you a larger service bill.

I have a ladies 18 carat gold Rolex watch with a diamond bezel and diamond face. I have had it for 25 years, and the bracelet had worn a little near the watch face, and sort of slid sideways. I took it into Leeds Jewelers on El Paseo in Palm Desert Ca. and was told it could not be fixed, I would have to purchase a new bracelet for $ 10,000, or I could trade the watch in and they would give me $ 3,750 against the price of a new watch. A friend told me to take it to DeLuca’s Jewelry on El Paseo in Palm Desert, they repaired the bracelet for $ 300. The whole watch looks like brand new. They call themselves master Jewelers, but not masterful enough to repair my bracelet.

Hands down the most fabulous jewelry store and I mean not just in the desert. My wife got me a Rolex at Leeds for my 40^th and I love it! Every time I visit the store, they clean my watch and I don’t even have to ask for it. It has become a tradition that I get my wife our anniversary present here. It’s a bit of an expensive tradition, but worth every penny, because my wife actually wears the jewelry that I got at Leeds and that was not because I have such a good eye for jewelry, but because they pointed me into the right direction.

Oh and did I mention that they have a trade-​in program, so if I want to upgrade to another watch they will take the previous one in trade. Would work for me if I wasn’t so attached to it…

One thing: I usually hate advertising mail, but they have a mailing list that’s worth being on. I have been to a number of their private events and they are fun to say the least. I think you have to be a customer to be on the list, but I am not sure.

Leeds and Sons is a classy, down to earth and fine jewelry store. A few days ago, I brought in a watch that I had dropped, two rings that were old and needed resizing and a 40 year old string of pearls that needed to be knotted and repaired. I had contact with four employees; all of which were pleasant, friendly and competent. My watch was able to be repaired while I took care of the other business I had. My ring couldn’t ‘t be resized because of the nature of the ring but Riki Stein asked one of the jewelers to see if he could buff it a little so it wasn’t so tight. He worked on it and buffed it and it fits now. The 40 year old pearls will be fixed and my 50 year old ring will be resized. I couldn’t be happier with the service, the friendly people working in the store and the way Leeds conducts business. I also want to mention that when I observed each employee handling my jewelry; it was like they were handling their own personal jewelry. The care and integrity of the way Leeds conducts business is where you want to buy jewelry, repair broken jewelry and just shop around.

In my 58 years, I have never written a review, but my recent experience at this business has prompted me to do my first. On 11÷21÷14, I accompanied my friend to this store. She wanted an adjustment to her Rolex, as well as an insurance appraisal on her other VERY expensive time-​piece. We were literally KICKED OUT of the store. While I was not present during their exchange, the manager (who claimed to be Leed’s grandson) said that my friend insulted him, did not trust him (because she wanted to observe the adjustment) and wanted free services (this was absurd). While my friend has a very dry sense of humor, she is neither abusive or unkind (actually, quite the opposite). This was the most HUMILIATING experience I have ever encountered. I will never shop at Leeds and Sons, and I would STRONGLY urge others to spend their money elsewhere.

Excellent prompt service on Cartier watch. Staff friendly and helpful.

I called to see if they could change the battery in my Cartier watch. They said to come in and they would change it while I waited. And they did — it took 5 minutes. Then I realized I’d left my wallet at home, so I told them I’d be right back. The staff person said not to worry, that the service was complimentary if I’d join their loyalty program. After being treated so well, I was delighted to sign up!

Service and staff are impeccable. Have been here twice in the past for a battery relacement for my corum watch, which I have had since 1982. In the past I have learned an expensive lesson about who you let change a battery in an expensive watch. The staff at leeds and son are well qualified, courteous, prompt and professional with their service; great jewelry store.

Great service and a great deal! I shopped for an engagement ring there. I had done some homework on diamonds but am still very much a novice in knowledge. They eloquently explained the features I was looking for and made it very simple. I had two employees helping me make a great choice. Highly recommend to anyone and would send family and friends there.

This place is great! They make everyone feel like they are the only customer in the place. They have the best selection and amazing watchmakers! So cool to see them behind the glass working right in front of the customers. So professional and inspiring.

Leeds and Son is one of the best. Fantastic customer service w/​a tremendous selection of fine quality time pieces. The staff @ Leeds are all cool, the store is stylish and it’s one of those places where all are working there because they enjoy it. This gives Leeds almost an Apple Store vibe… that’s of course, if at the Apple Store one could pick up an iPatek.
The coolest thing is that Leeds now offers pre-​owned watches for sale and they also have a very stylish display of vintage watches.
TIP: Look behind the fish tanks.

I came here for some repair work. In the end, they were not able to help me out, but their suggestions of places that could help me was spot on. I took a little time to peruse the merchandise. Wow. I can see why I was parking behind a chauffeur driven Rolls. That said, I’d be willing to look at purchasing here if I was looking for something special.

Amazing service. I was visiting from out of town and my watch band broke. I have a nice gold nugget watch. I «popped» in to see if they could repair it. They not only could repair it, they did on the spot. In less than 15 minutes I had my watch back, good as new. Amazing customer service. I highly recomment this jeweler!

I agree, they are the best, the only jeweler I go to. I first found them in Palm Springs more than 20 years ago (now in Palm Desert). Very professional, and easy going at the same time, don’t let the «ritziness» of El Paseo scare you. Beautiful showroom and very friendly.
