Amazing food, fresh juice, smoothies and little market of healthy foods and products. Found this place while driving along the 111. Always want to support healthy food options!!!

We felt great going to a health food store with organic items. We order just sandwiches, no chips, no drinks and it was super super expensive. Then out food came out! Can you believe I only got ½ of a sandwich and paid a lot! As much as my husband and he got a whole sandwich. I was confused and they were busy and I just never asked! But I probably won’t ever go back.

Come here all the time for lunch and this place is BOMB! The turkey chipotle sandwich and the chicken Caesar wrap are my favs, they’re delicious. Also the tropical tango and the mango mango smoothies are really tasty. The staff is also very nice. I remember one of the first times I came here a woman walked in and within a few minutes walked out extremely angry saying«I called in for a reason and it’s not ready» and left. A different lady whom I assumed was the owner since she was in the kitchen and wasn’t wearing a uniform, looked upset and I could hear her tell the workers this is why we need to make the orders when they called in. She was pretty upset. You would think this was a bad image for the place but being that I’ve worked in customer service what that showed me is that yes even though they lagged in making that lady’s order, the owner handled it well and really made it seem like she cared that they had lost a customer. I’ve seen similar situations in diff restaurants where the owner or the workers just don’t care and shrug it off but idk this really made me like the store even more. I used to order when I got there and yes the wait is a little long but now I call in my lunch order 2 – 3 times a week and it’s ready by the time I get there in 10 min or less. Overall definitely recommend this place!

If you’ve had too much the night before, then Luscious Lorraine’s is the place to get your smoothie/juice. If you’re hungover enough to want to come here, then you’re probably hungover enough to wait the 20+ minutes it takes for the staff to make your order. The smoothie is good; I got the Cocoa Suave smoothie, which has Banana, Cacao Nibs, Raw Cacao Powder, Fresh Coconut Water, Coconut Butter. Quite tasty. But what left a sour taste even before having the smoothie was the staff and the time I waited for it. They simply could not get it together; they couldn’t even make the right juice for the customer ahead of me. With three people behind the bar, especially one who was probably the manager or owner, you should be able to crank out several smoothies and juices. Nonetheless, the product is good so isn’t that what counts?

If you avoid meat and for that reason have an incredibly difficult time picking a place to get lunch, you will breathe a great sigh of relief when you walk into this place. There are numerous delicious and healthy vegetarian and vegan items to choose from, made with organic ingredients.

Luscious Lorraine’s is my FAVORITE place to go to for lunch in Palm Desert. This place is what I would consider a healthy deli and juice bar. They have organic sandwiches, organic wraps, organic salads, vegan, and vegetarian items. I try something new every time I go to Luscious Lorraine’s, and I have never been disappointed. My favorite wrap is the Asian Tofu wrap, my favorite sandwich is the Tempeh sandwich, and my favorite salad is the Tuna Salad Salad. They also have fresh juices, teas, and smoothies(you can add protein) galore. If you care about what you put in your body and love good fresh food, don’t miss out.

In love with it here and have been for a good 12 years. To be fair, I’ve only ever ordered the«veggie rap» but it’s sooooo solid! It’s easily made vegan by omitting the cheese which isn’t even missed. I’d give it five stars if it weren’t for the wait(be prepared to wait, but it IS worth it every time,) and it’s usually really warm inside(and out!) but otherwise, it’s one of my favorite spots.

Cool place to go! This is a healthy place with smoothies, fresh juices, and sandwiches. Come if you’re craving something refreshing and fresh, or after a workout, to get that protein fix. Wish there were more places like this everywhere!

Great Place. Great food. Got eggs but I am sure sandwiches are great. They look enjoyable. They have great side we got roasted salsa and guacamole and both were delicious. A little odd is that they use a keurig for coffee. I hate those waste from those machines.

It has gotten much better with efficiency. It is a bit pricey but worth it. It is friendly if you go there often enough. Lorraine is really good at what she does, never slacks!

I loved to get a tuna fish sandwich at this restaurant but Thursday September 24,2015 @ 1:00PM I was in a hurry and grabbed a salad in the fridge area of Luscious Lorraine and was charged $ 9.47 the salad consisted of shredded carrots and beets with three slices of avocado and small container of dressing. I felt ripped off for what the salad consisted of.

Their food is very good, and healthy. For me that is a wonderful combination and one that’s hard to find. I would give them 5 stars, and the food itself deserves it, but they are slooooow like mo-lasses. And I don’t mean because it just takes a long time to make the food. There just isn’t a sense of urgency to be quicker and more efficient. I don’t have 15 minutes to stand there waiting when I know it could have been done in 7 had you moved around quicker. A bit overpriced as well. Delicious food, though.

Not impressed. The food took a long time to get out. Selections were minimal. It was expensive and very bland. There’s just a small eating area with picnic type table and chairs that was cramped and uncomfortable, moreover not very clean.

I had the eggs with spinach and feta in a bowl and it was a small serving. I had to order another entrée(raw salad with herb dressing) and I ate it all. I am not a big eater so I’d say although the food was tasty, they might think about serving more in each portion. Both totaled about $ 16 +. Plus $ 2+ for bottled water. I liked that everything was organic and fresh. There are two long tables inside(health food store) and some seating in front along parking lot. If I need something quick and healthy and I am in this neighborhood I will return for carry out. Otherwise there are lots of other healthy options in Palm Springs.

So, as I write this review I contemplate my 3 visits. The first, enjoyable but quite the wait. In this case, I only got a smoothie not only for myself, but my mom and her boss as well. I would absolutely recommend the super green avo, or the funky monkey; especially as a meal replacement.(My intention) Now, my second visit was a bit different. The brunette hostess at the counter is always more than helpful & amazing at multi-tasking as well as giving phenomenal costumer service. So as I look over the menu deciding on whether or not I want a smoothie, or some real food I make a choice of wanting a wrap for lunch. The hostess recommends the turkey chipotle wrap — winner. She also recommends I add cheddar cheese. A very nice touch. It is as I get into the wrap that I notice the lack of avocado(which I absolutely adore) and soon as I begin to get through the wrap, I become bored with w bland flavor it becomes. I dismiss it and end up not finishing the wrap, although I was full. :-) Now.come to my 3rd(and now final visit) I bring a friend who is a health fanatic, and also has a gluten allergy. It is steady, so we have time to look over the menu. Arriving at 11 am we are told by the blonde flustered looking hostess that they only did breakfast for the order before us because they had been in the long line waiting. No sooner does she finish that statement that the unhappy looking woman who may have been the manager or owner responds«no we will just do it, we are already started it so let’s just get through it» leaving my friend and I with a feeling of discomfort. She proceeds to order the«Mexican breakfast» with a passion tea & I then proceed to order the tuna sandwich with the original green juice(adding the ginger as they recommend.) once we receive our order, my girlfriend is more than surprised to see her $ 8.75 breakfast entrée that is no larger than the size of her Palm. Once receiving my meal, I semi enjoy the tuna salad. The kalamata olives really take a toll on the flavor but I’m able to look past it. It is when I get into my $ 6.50 green juice that I begin to come across a problem: it tastes only of ginger root. SODISAPPOINTED. Honestly so disgusted. It gave me a headache instantly. I’m thirsty, so I head back to the counter and order a watermelon fresca, in hopes of some delicious flavor. The hostess also accommodates to my smoothie issue telling the young man behind her to add some more green apple and lemon. Mistake. Once receiving my fresca I feel completely misled, because although the menu states it contains pink salt and lemon, it also states Watermelon. In my personal opinion, as well as my girlfriends, I come to the conclusion they used a whole lemon and maybe a quarter sized slice of watermelon. It just was not right. Now, as I reminisce these experiences… I have decided it is no longer worth the amount of cash I spend each visit. I don’t like leaving restaurants feeling unsatisfied and wasteful. Thank you LL for the yummy smoothies and meal replacements. If you all are willing to pay 8 $ for a delicious smoothie try the funky monkey!

Not only is it basically Whole Foods Jr. on the inside, but the restaurant part of this establishment serves up the wikipedia definitions of «raw, fresh and healthy as fuck». It’s as if Suzanne Somers become a Rabbi and blessed the front counter. And damn, I swear those brownies are the 8th wonder of the world…

Real Food here folks! Had a half sandwich– It was piled with turkey, lettuce, tomato and at least half an avocado. It was one of those sandwiches that you had to commit to and not put down until finished. Then, a small bowl of lentil stew. I could have taken a gallon home to eat every day for the next 2 weeks. Besides the lentils there were chopped up carrots, onions, kale, and potatoes. It was not overly salty which I really appreciated. Our beverage of choice was The Monkey made with almond milk instead of coconut milk. It was light, cold, not too sweet and tasty! 5 Stars for the food quality and taste! The surprise here was that the Café was located inside the Harvest Market. They have bench seating inside and a few tables outside. There are also a few pre– made salads and soups available in a small refrigerator case. I will eat here again when I’m back in the area!
