I’ve been twice and both times was just average. I don’t think I will give it another go.

Unfortunately I was completely dissatisfied. I will never return. Stopped in for lunch the Staff were discourteous, we were ignored, had to ask for condiments 3 – 4 times, and the food was BLAND. All of the Staff exemplified persons that did not want to work not only that day but not at all, anywhere, odd considering the current unemployment rates and that it’s 4 days before Christmas.

Really wanted to like it because it’s a cute place with good service, but the food was just not that good… Even the coffee tasted weird, kind of metallic

I have been enjoying the food at the Towne Center Café since they opened, and John’s Restaurant before that. The food is like homemade, inexpensive, and the portions are plentiful. My favorite for years has been the breakfast burrito with: eggs, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a little feta — with hash browns and fried jalapeños on the side — yummy! Also the chicken salad — good stuff!

I went to the café with my grandmother with some good intentions. We walked in and was quickly seated in a booth. We scanned the menu and chose gyros for my nana(she’s fully Greek) and a cheese burger for me. My glass of water was empty for a good 10 minutes before the waitress even asked if I want a refill. In between her visiting us she was sitting down with another employee on her phone. Horrible service! Our food then came after 20 minutes of waiting, keep in mind there was one 1 other group then us inside and they had already been served. My food look ok, average but for my grandmas I could not even tell it was meat. My grandma said this was a disgrace to Greek food. After leaving later that night both of us got sick. I do not recommend going here don’t waste your time.

Stopped in for lunch, what a little gem of a place! I asked the server if they specialized in Greek food and she said yes and that it was really good. So I ordered the gyros platter, hummus with pita, and my friend had cheeseburger. Order came quickly and staff was attentive. My platter came with a mound of gyros meet served on top of pita(warm, fluffy, yummy!) on the side was sliced cucumber, onions, olives and tomatoes, and a side of tatziki. Everything tastes fresh, the plating isn’t anything to write home about, but hey you’re here to eat right? Hummus wasn’t anything spectacular, it was fine. Friend enjoyed his burger and since he works around the corner, visits every now and then. I took some of his fries and enjoyed them. Over all it was a good experience, I’ll come back and try other items next time.

Love their Greek wrap & potato salad! Portions are huge, so either plan to split your order w/someone else or take home leftovers.

The Mom liked it more than I did… and that never happens! We stopped in for breakfast for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. I ordered a standard 2 egg breakfast, the Mom ordered french toast, and we also ordered corned beef hash to share. Everything was very good(we especially liked the corned beef hash), and the portions are decent for the price. The only complaint I had was that they serve breakfast all day, but they wouldn’t make biscuits and gravy after 1:00pm, we arrived at 1:05.

I said I wouldn’t ever come back, but I did while I was getting the oil changed on my car. LOVE Mountain View Goodyear. The owner wasn’t there today so the regular cook was there. I had a Greek Wrap, it was very good. The service was excellent and attentive.

I had lunch there today and was pleasantly surprised at the very good lamb gyro with tomatoes, cucumbers and cumber sauce on the side. I could’ve had French fries as a side but opted for a nice cup of fresh fruit salad. This little café was a pleasant surprise… not a very upscale atmosphere but quality food at a reasonable price and friendly service. I’ll definitely go back again!

Had to leave our car for service across the street. It was in the AM and we were hungry. This was one of two recommendations for breakfast that was walking distance. The place is a wide open diner and clean. The three of us sat in a booth and looked over a menu with many choices. I selected an Omelet containing Gyro meat and Feta Cheese. Interesting huh, I thought so. I had the roasted potatoes and some Sourdough toast. Everything was very good. My wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros. She loves the Mexican breakfast items but I will always stay away from that unless I am at an authentic restaurant. Nevertheless, she did not offer a complaint. My friend had the Spinach and Feta Cheese Omelet with sliced Tomatoes and Wheat Toast. No complaints there either. The service was fast and attentive and the pricing is affordable. This place can certainly be trusted. On the way out there was a pastry case by the door with fresh desserts for takeout. I could have sworn I heard the homemade Baklava beckoning for me to save(our) them. I decided I’d better not after a pretty large meal. Next time I WILL pick up some Baklava. I LOVE the stuff.

I like Greek Food. And since this place is just across the street from my store I used to go there once a while to eat. Today I was hungry and passing by Town Center Café to eat something fast. I ordered daily special grilled salmon. And that was very bad choice. It tasted like extremely chlorined tap water. I could not eat it and ask the server to give me something else to eat. I am not a picky eater at all. This was first time in my life sending my food back . Anyways. I won’t go back again.

The name threw me for a curve for a Greek restaurant. The place is a little tricky to find but worth the effort. I pictured the place in my head to be a hole in the wall but its quite large and clean. My lunch order — Gyros sandwich and a side of dolmates. The dolmates was really tasty and not soggy inside like some other Greek places I’ve experienced. The gyros sandwich was large with ripe fresh tomatoes and crisp onions with slices of thick lamb. Flavor of the lamb was complimented nicely with the white sauce, fresh tomatoes and onions. My waitress was older but really sweet and friendly, after chatting with her I found out she is from Whittier too and worked at a business I’ve use to make sales calls to! I definitely come back to try some other entrees next time I’m in town.
