Came here for lunch today. Food was excellent! Price was good. Fast, friendly service. Will come back!

I really want to like this place because the pizza is really good but the customer service is terrible and without good customer service you have no business. The first time i decided to eat here i called to put in a take out order. The guy on the phone was very short with me and when i asked what size pizza they recommend for 2 people he replied«Well, i don’t know how much you guys can eat» in the most rude condescending way so much so that i hung up and did not order a thing. Months later i call in again to order a pizza, i don’t dare ask what size i should get but this time it was a younger girl and she was very nice and took my order. So i go in to pick up my order and there is nobody in the restaurant and I walk in the a mad house the owners were screaming and yelling and throwing stuff and im just like«uhh im here to pick up my order…» The younger girl, im guessing the daughter, helped me and i could tell she was very embarrassed. Maybe they should let her run the place they might actually make some money. Like i said tho. Great pizza but if your looking for an awkward experience to go along with your pizza, this is the best place.

Got chicken wings from here and first off were not that good and after, they did not agree with me. I was out of commission for 3 days. Bummer as I thought this might be a nice new fun spot.

I’ve been going here for 4 years. Always great service, every time. Superb pizza. My favorite in the desert.

I particularly like the New York combo pizza, But you must ask for it well done !!! Seriously because he almost always takes it out too soon and its soggy in the middle!!! Other than that it’s really good hand made pizza!!!

Today was my first time here and the experience was very good. The owner was very nice and my pizza and chicken wings were both very delicious. Everything tasted fresh, especially enjoyed the sauce on the pizza. The wait time was reasonable and the place looked very clean and overall nice. Lots of parking too.

BEWARE: RUDE, SKETCHYOWNER! New to Palm Springs, this ex-New Yorker has been trying every pizza place I can find. I discover Palermo’ and give it a shot. A lovely woman behind the counter helped me. I wanted a slice or 2 but there were none left, so she suggested a small personal size pizza. Great. Flavor was good. Crust was rubber. Service was delightful. Second time: I order and when I arrive, I asked the owner(man) why the website, Unilocal, their menus — NOTHING has information about what time they close. «If I’m here at 10 and someone calls for an order, if I feel like making it, I’ll answer the phone. If not, they’ll figure we’re closed.» Um, WHATTHE F%%@ Third time: I order and arrive 20 minutes later. That same guy sees me and says«You’re early. Do you still want me to make your pizza?» He hadn’t even started it! I said yes, and waited. As he starts pushing buttons on his calculator, I see he adds $.25. I asked what that was for — he said«It’s for take out.» THEYCHARGEYOUTOTAKEOUT A PIZZA??? Ok, it’s only a quarter, but neither he nor the other woman ever charged me for take out in the past. He’s just shady. There’s gotta be better, less rubbery pizza with a LOT less sketchiness from the owner somewhere in the desert. Frankly, I’d rather order from Dominos than deal with that dirty crook at Palermo’s. Half the price, half the attitude! If you’re in the area and you must have pizza, try Bill’s. Try Domino’s. Try anything but stay away from Palermo’s.

The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the price. Is a bit expensive. But the pizzas here are so good! Probably one of the best tasting in the valley. The owner and his wife were very sweet and made a point to call me by name and that was the first time I have been there. Super hot and fresh!

Service is terrible. Owner I believe it is is beyond rude. This has happened 2x. Veggies in salad tht was almost 10 $ were not fresh. I got a Greek salad to go. Also found a hair in it. I will never go back.

I enjoyed the California salad and some spinach ravioli. Everything was fresh and had good flavor. Spoke with the chef and she told me about some other veggie dishes she liked to prepare. I’ll return.

First time here. I called 45 minutes before I was going to pick up the order so that way the food is ready. Got to the restaurant and still waited another 20 minutes. Pizza was cold. I probably should give this place another chance.

I am stoked on the Pizza’s they have here. I ordered the Mexican one last time with the side of the bomb baked wings they have. I swear they are so good. Today I ordered a couple sammies for me and the co-worker and I cannot wait. I know those Sandwiches are going to be everything! Love the service. The woman on the phone was so pleasant. I am stoked! Thank you Matthew last time for the Great Pizza, crispy just how we asked for it. Thank you guys! Keep up the great work.

I had the cheese pizza lunch special. The Pizza’s thin crusted and delicious — just the way I like it, and the owner took great care of me.

We ordered a group of pizzas from here and were impressed. A few key takeaway points about this establishment: 1. The pizzas taste good, and seem to be made with fresh, basic ingredients without a lot of the chemical additives on big corporate pizzas. 2. They deliver. 3. They’re a mom-and-pop small business. 4. They have a large variety of pizzas. I was with a big group that ordered a Margharita Pizza, a Mushroom/Olive, a Veggie Pizza, and one Pepperoni. I ate the Margarita, which was very good — although a bit heavy. One thing that would have made this experience even better would be to make the thin crust pizza even thinner. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Palm Springs.

I’m a pizza fan to the obsessed level! The Guys at Palermos are so helpful and friendly! While we waited we had a ice cold beer in a frozen glass and the freshly made pizza was ready by the last sip! Got home and bit into the pizza and I smiled from ear to ear! Great job and dough is made freshly every day! I highly recommend.

Gosh, I wanted to LOVEIT. I’m from the East Coast, and in the whole 8 years I’ve lived out here, I’ve yet to find a good mom and pop pizza place, unless I go to LA. Anyways I stumbled upon it yesterday almost on accident and ran in to check out the menu. They didn’t have paper to go menus which was a bummer but the man behind the counter, who I believe was the owner, was extremely friendly and told me he had the best pizza in Palm Springs. I laughed, told him I was picky, but that I’d be back. A few hours later we called in a large pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. The cheese and sauce were really good, and while I do like thin crust, this dough disappointed me a little. I cannot explain why. I don’t know. It wasn’t my favorite, but the kids loved it! I will say that it’s the best take out pizza I’ve found in Palm Springs. Pepperoni was greasy but cheese was good.

I was really looking forward to eating here. I left disappointed. As others have mentioned, there’s nothing really wrong with the pizza here. On the flipside, there’s nothing really right with the pizza here. You want a place like this to be distinguishable from the likes of Papa John’s, but it does little to do so. I was amused by the friendly banter with the owner, but likewise as others have mentioned, he can get more than a little distracted. Not bad if you’ve already got your food, but it can be really frustrating. I noticed he was ignoring phone calls as he was busy talking it up with us and others in the restaurant. Not the worst by any means, but certainly not likely to warrant a return visit.
