Del Taco

I can’t believe this Del Taco does not get better, I’m waiting in the drive thru for a long time without ordering yet and then me and the car behind me noticed the manager flirting and trying to pick up on some girl. This was 6-​3-​2016 at 9:50 pm and a long line building, so I asked the car behind me to move so I can get out. Will not be going to Del Taco anymore. These places need a little more business caring people.

Worst service ever. Was in the drive-​through for 45 minutes and I was the only one in line. I don’t wonder why.

Dirty! Puddles of liquid on the floor, smashed French fries, sticky dirty tables. There’s no reason it should look like this! But at least the Diet Coke is good.

I have been a fan of Del Taco for over 30 years and this location has made me change my mind. When they opened it was great until they got this one female manager. She is terrible. Her system for the drive thru is to keep the cars at the speaker as long as possible. Employees there have told me that’s why they repeat your order so many times and ask you if you want hot sauce while you are ordering. Then when you get to the window, they ask you the same question again. The employees look like slobs. The only employee that kicks ass there is Lionel. He is awesome. The inside of the place is messy and gross. It is dirty and messy but the girls behind the counter seem to have time to stand around gossiping and not helping customers. I went there tonight and was not all that happy how the place looked. 4 people working and the floors were disgusting with food, trash, and spilled drinks in the floor. Looks like management is lacking lately. I usually skip the location, even though it’s right by my house, and go to the one on Palmdale Blvd by the freeway. They are the best!

I like Del taco but this Del taco is try to trick you. The lady working at the drive thru doesn’t give you your full change. I ordered the chili cheese fries and a quesadilla. I paid in a total of $ 10. She gave me my food at the same time while giving me back my change which you would get distracted by the food. I drove away and I noticed I had a couple of coins. Uugghhhh. I was angry. This drive thru is even slow at making food which makes the drive thru go by slow.

I come here about once a week and the food is always fast and good. Every time I come in one employee in particular is hustling and always has a smile, I asked his name today (Lionel) if I owned a business is try and steal this guy away.

Stop by for lunch. We walk in and there was an employee standing in front of the cash register she walked away as we headed towards the counter. We looked at the menu and right away knew what we wanted. We waited and waited as the employees all stood there looking at us. We waited and waited some more. I was about to ask for service one of the employees asked another girl to help us. FINALLY we were able to order our food. Food came quick but the service is extremely bad. I have notice that not many places have a supervisor or a responsible supervisor on site.

We frequent this location as its close to home. Lately the food has been more disappointing then ever. The cashiers seem to be a little nicer some more then others but the quality of the food has become worse. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will as the food we received tonight was a joke as far as quality. I dont know how they dont have more complaints. Hoping management sees this and maybe will revisit some training issues in food preparation.

Every time I’ve gone here my meal has been made perfectly! The cashier’s are always courteous & the manager even gave me a free drink once because I didn’t mind waiting a couple extra minutes for her to deal with RUDE customers in line ahead of me! Haha
Who would’ve thought that simply being understanding & patient would pay off ;)
I’m honestly surprised to come in & see the tables always clean & employees are all busy cleaning SOMETHING… Most of the time if there’s any «down» time the employees are quickly jumping on their phones & standing around.
Kudos to the manager for keeping the team motivated & double kudos to the team for dealing with the «Taco Tuesday» crowds… Because we all know that only «classy» people buy tacos for $.39 and expect the biggest taco

I come here every now and then and find service to be adequate. Neither bad or good. The food has improved. My husband had the new Surf & Turf Burrito. I had a bite. It was good. I’d order it myself. I had the Macho Combo Burrito. It’s ok. Needs more sauce and onions. I’ll be back.

I thought I’d write an updated review, considering I’ve probably been in here 100+ times over the last 5 or more years. I’ve been to this Del Taco sooo many times that the employees all know me as the guy with the ‘free bean & cheese burrito” receipts. Most of the time, I walk in, they see me, and start my order up. Not always the case, obviously, but they all recognize me… which I’m not sure is a good or bad thing.
If you’re familiar at all with the Del Taco chain, you know what you are going to get; Mexican-​American fast food of a higher quality than Taco Bell.
My recommendations — ½ lb bean & cheese burrito, strawberry shake, chili cheese fries.

They seem to get my order wrong alot. And when its right they jsut dont care.
Tacos: Almost non existent dash of cheese. Also cold meat!
Burritos: A lump of ingredients in one spot. They seem to be specialists in this disproportionate burrto making technique.
Tortillas: Hard tortillas should not be tolerated! After a few days the tortilla gets hard and stale. Dont serve them, throw them away!!!
Burgers: Telling people you have the grill shut down (at 730pm) is no excuse to be lazy and not make customers a burger. You should have your menu available during working hours. If you want to shut down your grill then close your doors and forgetaboutit!!!

The first Steak Asada Taco was good (I added potato chips and ranch dressing so…) the second was hard, dry, cold pieces of meat. Horrible. I understand that Cordon Bleu they ain’t: I was at the Motel 6, hungry, tired, and have a broken foot so I walked to the closest place to eat, but we now have the technology… we can make something good, people! There was a long line of cars at the drive-​up, ergo… big turnover of food. But no, they have to lay the old dry meat on the old lady… no way dudes! I’m cyber-​connected and I’m hollerin’… so TAKE THAT! Del Taco, you suck. Unless you come to room 111 and deliver me a brand new Steak Asada Taco so I don’t feel ripped off. I’m tired of paying for truly sub-​standard anything.
