Maybe this place is fine. Maybe not. Why don’t I know? Because I haven’t been there. Why haven’t I been there? Because I called ahead of time and the following conversation ensued: Them: Hello. [Unintelligible] Me: Hi… is this the cleaners? Them: Yes. Me: Oh. Um, I was just wondering whether you do overnight wash and fold. Them: Yes. Me: Oh, great. I’ll bring it by this morning. Will it be ready tomorrow? Them: No. Me: But… I thought it was overnight? Them: Not on Fridays. Not on the weekend. You have to call ahead. Me: Call ahead… for the weekend, you mean? Them: No. You cannot get it tomorrow. Me: But normally if I call ahead, I can get it overnighted on the weekend? Them: [Unintelligible] Me: Sorry, I’m having trouble hearing. Them: You have to call. Me: On the weekend I can call and get it overnight? Them: No. Me: Okay, forget today. If I bring it in on Tuesday, will it be ready Wednesday? Them: Maybe. Me: Uh… thanks. Bye.

My business suit was damaged when I came to pick it up. The Asian woman told me there is nothing she can do, and I should come back some other time when her boss is around. Are you serious?

Very convenient location right on El Camino in Palo Alto. Quick and friendly attendants to ring you up. I definitely have better service and cleaning results here than the dry cleaner shop 1 block north of Mike’s. I’m very confused about the«One Hour» gimmick in the name though. Nothing about getting my dry cleaning done here happens in one hour. I drop it off on Monday, and it might be ready by Thursday. Standard wait time for my dry cleaning, but certainly not 1 hour.

I brought a shirt here that another dry cleaner chain had introduced stains to. Mike’s was fast(offered same day service), friendly, and cheap. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Thanks Mike, wherever you are.

The first time I came here, I brought some basic shirts and pants; they were done on time, reasonably priced. So far, so good. The second time, I brought a dress that was composed of two different fabrics in different colors. When I went back to pick it up, it hadn’t been touched. Apparently because«the colors would run.» I do not know enough about dry cleaning to know if that is a legitimate possibility. I *do* know that it would have been really helpful to get a phone call to that effect, so I could’ve gone somewhere else and not wasted a week waiting to pick it up.

Convenient, open, clean location. They use computers — yay. In and out quickly. Very nice owners. I trust them. I think he sewed on my button for free. A bit pricey but it’s Palo Alto. And if they sew on my buttons for free, I guess it’s not so expensive! They do cleaning on-site, but when I asked if I could pick up later that day, he said no. Maybe they shouldn’t call themselves 1-hr cleaners?

They are nice and I like their turnaround time, but $ 4.50 for laundering a shirt seems a little pricey so I will only go to them if I’m in a rush.

I walked in at 8am and I needed my suit jacket pressed for that night. Most of the 1hr places can’t guarantee it being done in one hour. This place did. I went down the street for breakfast. I came back within 50minutues. The jacket was done and the owner had a smile on his face. The work was done very well and it was very reasonable priced. I will go there again when I am too lazy to plan ahead and get my suit pressed in a timely manner.

Some people iron all the time and think ironing is no big deal. Others find that it’s like an hours-long wrestling match against a ninja with super wrinkling powers. I won’t say which camp I’m in, but I hadn’t used my iron in at least five years, so when I moved, I didn’t bring it along. Within a week, a situation happened where I needed a shirt and jacket pressed for the next day. Found these guys on Unilocal, they said they’d do it in an hour, and they did! The clothes looked great and the lady was super friendly too. Unilocal really came through for me on this one.

This place is great! ive always gone to Mike’s One Hour Cleaners, and they do a superb job!!! now its so close to my work, i can beat any rushes and drop off my dry cleaning at odd times. Sometimes im lazy and might wait a while to drop it off, but they still are able to get my stains out, even though they’ve set in for a bit. I’ve never left unhappy with my dry cleaning here. The couple that owns the cleaners, Mike and Kay, are also great and super friendly. They are definitley veterans and know what it takes to keep a happy customer. Parking may be difficult for some, but I’ve never had an issue. It’s near the Taco Bell and in a little plaza next door to the L&L Hawaiian BBQ. Very reasonable prices, clothes always done quickly, and friendly service! Can’t ask for more!

This place is right near my work so it is convenient. I wish that they were open a little later but as long as I remember to pick up my clothes everything is fine. I’ve only had a few shirts cleaned here but they turned out well; clean and nicely pressed. They had a nice crisp feel without the added starch. Typically I drop things off one day and pick them up a day or two later so i can’t comment on the 1 hour service. Nice people who seem to know what they’re doing.

Don’t you love it when you spill [salad dressing] all over yourself the first time you break out a new outfit? Such is my life. Which is why I always wear black, except the one day this week I didn’t, which ended with a beige silk dress being disastrously stained. After grudgingly sticking it out with Sharon Heights Cleaners for almost two years, I finally decided to switch to One Hour Cleaners after my conscience could no longer allow me to continue patronizing Sharon Heights due to their terrible service and attitude. I was so traumatized by Sharon Heights Cleaners I was afraid I’d have another bad experience, but One Hour Cleaners was great. Everything from their friendly and helpful attitude, to their turnaround time, to the prices they quoted(only $ 3 to re-sew a torn lining on a dress) was superb. They even managed to get ranch dressing stains out of the front of a new silk dress. I just brought a pair of nice jeans for them to alter *fingers crossed*, and assuming all goes well, I’m upgrading them from 4 to 5 stars!

Yup, top notch is a great description. You might pay a bit less elsewhere but not much and you won’t get the level of service you get here. Never an issue with clothes not being ready, always super friendly, they do a great job all around. I won’t go anywhere else.

These guys are top-notch. Everyone is super-friendly and they bend over backwards to make sure the customer is happy. Once I was running late and I called in to ask if they could stay open an extra 10 minutes so I could pick up my clothes. No problem. I strongly recommend this place.
