Marie R., this facility doesn’t have skilled nursing. Look somewhere else. It is a great place to live!

Like most places that give elderly care the Moldaw has its pros and cons. And in general is better then most. I move my mother here earlier in the year Pros– great campus. Linked into the JCC this place does not feel like I am dumping her someplace to die. Good energy from the school and pool area + generally a good, friendly staff Cons– some of the management seem disconnected with reality and need to bridge the gap better between a business, a facility to help elderly and how to respond to a vocal minority Update– my mother after a hard 6 month transition now is loving the place. The JCC, outings etc are fantastic… It’s a hard transition but working out great

after only a phone evaluation on the cost and environment for care for an elderly father who needs great care, this place makes it sound prime until you call and they state that residents are not overseen in skilled nursing after they go back to their rooms, what, the person we spoke with said our father would be less at risk of falling in his own home with a caregiver, pretty bad care I suspect and the cost is over the top as well.
