Favorite chicken sandwich. Ever. The ingredients are so fresh, it’s insane! The crispness of the lettuce is noted every time! The nuggets are great, size appropriate for the little people (my toddler lol). And waffle fries are little golden perfections. I appreciate that the fries are closer to yellow instead of browning. They’re super crispy and fried in clean oil. The more brown the fries, the more old, burnt bits are in the oil they fry in.
Also thoroughly enjoy their lemonade and shakes!

Best place in the tri-​state area! Have great service plenty of seating the eatery and can shop after or before your meal. The spicy chicken is the great! And the lemonade is a must! Once seated the employees came to table and ask for any refill or napkins or sauces it was the best… will come back every-​time I’m on route 17 or the parkway!

I am posting an update because I was pleased with response and concern I received not only from the franchise owner, but several other Chik-​fil-​a stakeholders. So I deem it fair to also share this experience. I spoke with Drew (franchise owner), the day after my original review was posted. He was very apologetic and concerned with the level of service I received. He gave no excuses and accepted full responsibility. He was also kind enough to refund our money. I understand everyone has off days, so I chalk this up to being one of those days. I was ready to throw in the towel on Chik-​fil-​a, but Drew’s professionalism and concern saved the day.

I’ve been wanting to try Chick-​Fil-​A for so long and I finally had the chance. But honestly, I’m not impressed. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious but I’m not sure why I was expecting something else. I love spicy sandwiches but I couldn’t get into this one, I couldn’t finish it. But they offer free refills. We all love free refills.
Well, at least I can say I tried it but I probably won’t try it again.

The menu is much smaller than the regular ones yet the spicy chicken sandwich hits the spot! The chicken is real! Not some processed crap you get from other fast food places. WaAffle fries are just alright but edible. The sauces are pretty good, tastes natural!

Please do not crucify me about this post. Despite my personal feelings toward the Franchise I decided to see what the big fuss over Chick-​fil-​a is all about.
Honestly, it’s a good sandwich. I split both the original deluxe and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were tasty and made fresh. Will I wait on line for more than 3 minutes… No… but at least I tried it. Yay for trying new things.
By the way, the servers were super nice and helpful.

I know a lot of my friends who work here and it’s really good food service. The chicken is cooked every morning so it’s never not fresh. And free refills on your drinks. So it’s a win/​win. Good food, free refills. The menu is just chicken sandwiches and nuggets and their waffle fries are amazing and crunchy. I love their Polynesian sauce. It’s a sweet and sour base so that’s an automatic love. Overall, good and fast service. 5 stars

This was my first ever visit to a Chick-​fil-​A. It was a Saturday at noon at a busier than expected Paramus Park Mall. Wow, I’m glad I went the back way to get there. I presented my free chicken sandwich coupon which I got at the Paramus 10K/​5K race with the order of a soda and waffle potato fries. I also added the spicy chicken sandwich. The food was good but nothing spectular. The chicken is soft as if it was a hamburger. I wouldn’t want to bite into anything that was crispy anyway. Although there is very little extra added to the spicy chicken in comparison to the original, it had a far superior taste. The fries were sort of bland but better with ketchup.

Sooo duh it’s Chick-​fil-​a it’s instantly 5 stars… Have you ever been to one? I mean the chicken is insanely good, like addicting, like crack. Seriously though. So you have a pretty basic menu, nuggets, chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, coleslaw, salads, chicken tenders… Not much more then that, but that’s the glory of it, it doesn’t need more then that! The chicken alone keeps me coming back, no need to add or change up the menu… And unfortunately for me, I don’t get here too often. Very glad that they are opening up one in my hood at the garden state plaza pretty soon! All in all this place have been pretty consistent with the quality of their food, so I have been
here for as long as I can remember…

After coming back from the pumpkin farm upstate, hubby suggested we drive through NJ and Google the closest chick fil a… we didn’t realize the location was inside the NJ mall. I’ve had chick fil a before when I was in Dallas and Southern NJ, this is my 3^rd time eating there food. Hubby and I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe with a side of waffle fries… only one word can describe this meal which is delicious! The chicken was moist, lightly breaded, and not too spicy. I’m so happy they opened up another establishment in NYC, so now I don’t have to cross the bridge when I am feenin for a chicken sandwich!

Ok I know it’s a chain but let’s face it they make the most flavorful chicken nuggets anywhere. They offer really great salads that are made fresh every morning. If you’re in a rush, at the mall, want to eat quickly, then stop here!

Fried chicken sandwich — this is seriously the best fried chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant. I had the spicy fried chicken deluxe sandwich — I love the little kick of spice and the pepper jack cheese.
The other great thing is the food is really authentic. Normally fast food tastes great but processed but here you actually see chucks of chicken and the waffle fries tasted like potatoes.
Love the chik fil a sauce because it’s so light and vinegary. Definitely drop by again when I am in the neighborhood.

We love this place. One daughter was hoping chicken tenders were crispier like the spicy chicken sandwich offered. Waffle fries are made to perfection; light on the salt. Clean and great staff coast-​to-​coast. Tells me a lot about the company as a whole. Hope to see more open in NJ.

Very good service. The counter girl saw that I needed to feed my infant son, and brought my order over to me when it was ready. Good food, but great service.

The Chick-​fil-​A you know and love, I was excited when I first found out about this location on Unilocal!Unfortunately it is in a sad, tired mall where it is very hot in the summer on the second floor food court where there is an open atrium and no AC, so eat fast or dine al fresco.

Never have I EVER been so excited to be going to a MALL… a mall in NJ nonetheless

i wish i could give this place 10 stars for being the closest chick-​fil-​a to the city (****cheap impostor in NYU dining hall does not count)

I drive far to go to this restaurant. They make the best fast food chicken. I don’t know why there aren’t abundant in NY & NJ yet. Everything is great to eat here.

I love chick fil a. Since we don’t have one on Long island, I always go out of my way a bit to stop in here when I drive down I80. Food is excellent.

Service is great. Both times I’ve been recently they’ve had new menu items and they give pretty good recommendations on them.

So Chick-​Fil-​A was pretty hyped up. I’ve known about this location for years, but didn’t really care. The only things I knew about Chick-​Fil-​A at this point were that they probably served chicken and that the CEO is a religious homophobe.
Politics aside, let’s get to the food. Chick-​Fil-​A does indeed serve chicken! Sandwiches and tenders specifically. A bit disappointing honestly, since bone in fried chicken happens to be my favorite food of all time.
So I ordered the Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries. My sister also suggested I get the Chick-​Fil-​A sauce. I wasn’t expecting much really. What I got was the best looking chicken sandwich I have ever seen. It actually looked better than advertised! And it tasted great! Mildly spicy, not dry at all, and well constructed. The waffle fries were average, but having waffle fries is a plus in itself. The Chick-​Fil-​A sauce seems to be a mixture of honey mustard, BBQ sauce, and mayo and goes well with the fries and the sandwich.
They also offer a brochure with their nutritional information, so I took one so I could ruin the experience. Wasn’t too bad, EXCEPT FOR THE CHICK-​FIL-​A SAUCE.
One little packet has 140 calories, 13g of fat and 6g of carbs.
Oh well. Choose a different sauce if you’re watching what you eat.

I love their food.
The servers are nice. Grilled chicken is always juicy and their lemonade is spot on!
I haven’t tried their salads. But their fries are magnificent! I love waffle fries!
And I love the fact it is in the mall that is only 8 minutes away! This is my go to spot when I don’t want to cook dinner! Haha

It is so great to have a Chick-​fil-​A so close! Everyone that works there is very nice, and has always gotten the order exactly right.
The chicken here is far much better than any other fast food places.
Their chicken sandwiches have a great taste, and taste fresh.

WHY HAS NO ONE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A CHICK-​FIL-​A SO CLOSE TO THE CITY? I thought that the closest one would be out in PA or in Maryland!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about Chick-​fil-​A from all my friends down south, and I had resigned to never trying it until I visited down there. However, someone told me that there was one in NJ, so after work, I took a trip out to the mall to give it a try!
I am very happy I did. From the friendly service to the amazing food, I’m certain that this is among the best fast food experiences I’ve ever had. On a friend’s recommendation, I tried a chicken deluxe sandwich, some nuggets, the fries, and a sweet tea. All of it was so good! I ended up getting another basic sandwich afterwards.
The chicken is perfectly moist and fried without too much breading. Each sandwich has some tart pickles on them as well. The nuggets, while good, are definitely not as good as the sandwiches. The fries seem to be pretty fresh and creamy on the inside, and the sweet tea is pretty good southern-​style tea. It’s simply good food at a decent price! The food comes out really quickly here as well.
I’ll definitely be back, and now I’m going to be comparing every chicken sandwich with this one.

You may think that all the political press Chick-​fil-​A got in the past would give people pause, but when it comes to delicious, delicious fast food, my stomach’s love for Chick-​fil-​A has no limits. How can something so wrong taste so right? Not possible.
Chicken sandwiches are the best, bar none, compared to the measley competition McDonald’s and etc. puts up. Tender and juicy every bite. Chicken nuggets with recognizable meat puts others to shame as well. The waffle fries… oh man. There are no words to describe the perfection that is their waffle fries.
To top it off, service here is always excellent and efficient. Our most recent order was completed BEFORE we even paid for the meal. Now that’s what I call fast!
The only downside to loving Chick-​fil-​A so much is that you can’t get it on Sundays but since this one is in a Bergen County mall… I can rationalize it as being Paramus Park’s fault and not my beloved Chick-fil-A’s doing.
