This review is for the pharmacy staff members that helped me a few weeks ago with a prescription.
Clara the technician and Phoena pharmacist helped me so much because like many prescriptions time is of the essence. I called ahead of time to find out estimated costs and speaking to Clara I learned that for the prescription I was looking for, if my insurance didn’t cover it there was a promotion from the vendor where I had to get a discount card and apply for it in the phone or online and bring the card back to bring the out of pocket to $ 35. That was a steal considering many other pharmacies quoted in the many hundreds of dollars for out of pocket in case my insurance didn’t cover it or my deductible wasn’t met yet since it’s so early in the year.
I first went to the drive through since I wanted to try that out, and I got the discount card and information and decided instead of waiting in drive through I would call vendor and go into the store since I wanted the Brand instead of generic they were offering. Considering also that BlueKC for some reason here was covering the Brand, but the full cost was charged for the generic.
I am giving 5 stars because I have never been to a pharmacy where they help you get the best deal and also provide all the information to help the customer.
As I waited I also witnessed another customer who switched insurance but needed their medicine timely so were given options on how best to get their medicine on time, check coverage with the new insurance.
Usually a different pharmacy would give me a prescription and I deal with the insurance and what is covered or not. Here you will know more information or guidance before you take home a huge bill you may or may not have signed up for.

LOVE THIS PHARMACY. They are so helpful and they truly always help everyone so quickly, they do need more staff. But I understand that isn’t their fault and that falls on corporate. Great place to go!!! They know you by name, the pharmacy just got renovated after a fire. Love this place!

I have to agree with a few of the previous reviewers – if I could give negative stars, I would. It is easily a 20 – 30 minute wait to pick up my monthly prescriptions, and something is always wrong (this last time, they spelled my name totally wrong to the point it was incoherent and couldn’t be found without the Rx #). Will be transferring to CVS once my Rx runs out (which is thankfully this month). The only comfort is that other people have had the same experience I have had with them. Just horrible!

slow!!! usually have to come back 2 or 3 times from when they tell you it will be ready!

I am always in and out and the staff knows me by name. Negative reviews must be from people who don’t use the store often. The store has completely turned around in my opinion.

The pharmacy techs and pharmacists here are the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life & I deal with a lot of people. They never say hello or how can I help you. It is a burden that you are even there. The pharmacy techs question why I need the quantity in my refill when it is a rx written by a doctor. I wish there was a small hometown pharmacy I could get my prescriptions filled at with a little bit of class. Walgreens is the worst!!! Please go anywhere else. You are usually already under stress due to needing prescriptions in the first place & coming here does nothing to help.

If there was an option for negative stars they would have received them! I have used them for much longer than I should have because I live less than a mile away. My husband and i both had to transfer everything to cvs because walgreens can not get it together. I have not been there once that they didn’t have my prescription all wrong or couldn’t find it. My husband received a text that his was ready for pick up and he shows up and guess what no prescription on record for him at all. I have no idea how they are able to run this place in such an unorganized manner. Save yourself the frustration and go to CVS!!!

If I could do less stars I would. Lived here for over a year and not once have I picked up a prescription that the process wasn’t disorganized and completely slow! Been in line for 15 minutes and no one has moved yet.
