Wow, so many negative reviews, I’m in shock. My experience wasn’t the most amazing thing to happen to me since discovering the Moscow Mule a few years back, but it was good. My mom and I had some time to kill before attending church together for the first time in about a decade. We both ordered a shrimp omelet concoction that had avocado on it. It was very good. I will say that the wait for our food was a tad on the long side, but as long as the food is good, I wont complain too much. Luckily there was counter space, so we dashed to eat there. While waiting for my breakfast, It dawned on me that there were only male servers. Luckily my mom and I were fortunate to get the one attractive one that shift. He was very handsome; my mom even told him lol. Why have an all-male staff, if there isn’t a Hooters-type gimmick? I just don’t get it. When you have a grumpy, stuffy, older staff made up of just men, you end up looking misogynistic. I struggle between giving this place 3 or 4 stars. But based on my good food and my server’s looks, I’m willing to overlook the misogyny and go with four. I’m getting soft at my old age =D.

The food here is pretty good. I work directly across the street and we go there occasionally for breakfast. On the flip side, not a great place to go if you’re looking for a happy hour cocktail. The drinks are overpriced and the ambiance is… lacking.

We were on a road trip and looking for a good breakfast. Conrad’s was perfect! The Bloody Mary’s were terrific, eggs were fresh and the O’Brian potatoes were excellent.

I have posted 2 reviews only to find that Unilocal removed them. I ordered pancakes and found a hair in my meal. Posted a picture documenting the find. For whatever reason my review was removed. Kind of hard to enjoy your meal when you find hair in it! Go somewhere else!!!

Almost 4 dollars for a soda? Simple bacon n eggs 10 bucks? Outdated décor. Average service. Bland food. Nope. Sorry. Owners need to improve the food, lower the prices and take care of those that have supported them for years.

Please change the vegetable tortilla soup! It was not good, my mom and I both sent it back and even the waitress agreed and didn’t even feel bad – it was like she knew it was horrible.

My husband and I have been coming to Conrad’s for years. Haven’t been in awhile, so I wanted to treat him. The clam chowder that used to be fantastic was absolutely horrible. The veggies were soggy, and the baked potato was blah. Won’t be coming back soon which is sad.

Overpriced, out of style, and cannot emphasize how disgusting the food is. I would look past the dated décor and half ass service if the food were any good, but it isn’t. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles, which he ate a third of and just gave up on, and I had the French toast. Both were gross. Waitress didn’t seem to care, didn’t bother asking how the food was nor why our plates were removed with a lot of food left on them. We also needed refills which we were never offered. I’ve had better service AND food at Denny’s, and absolutely hate Denny’s. You’ve been warned.

The place is older, dating back to he 70’s. We were seated immediately, but felt that the waitress was impatient taking our order. The food tastes ordinary and nothing to write home about. The owner was present and I felt was rude, staring us down instead of greeting the patrons. I won’t be coming back here because I just got the cold shoulder kinda vibe. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience. The food I felt was overpriced and the waitstaff and owner were quite rude, not worth my time and energy to go eat here.

Service here is terrible. I’ve never seen a team of waitstaff as rude as they are here. I don’t think I’m the only one who noticed today, which makes me question the management team as a whole.

To start, the food is not very good. I ordered bacon and eggs with toast and they brought me a cold plate of food. The toast wasn’t even the right kind either. I ordered sourdough and the brought me wheat. The people that work here were not in a very good mood and also the owner seems like a very rude person to work for. I will not be coming back again. The prices are not the best, but what really made it seem bad was the terrible service and the food quality.

The food here is not good at all. Everything tastes like it came straight from the can. Yucky.
I’m going to be one of the lone dissenters here. I think Conrad’s rocks. The vibe is straight out of the 1970s and I love any place that takes me back in time. They have a very solid breakfast menu that is certainly tastier than any Denny’s or IHOP I’ve ever been to. Their corned beef hash is excellent and I don’t know what magic they perform on their toast, but it’s wonderful. I’ve never experienced anything but great service here. Give it a shot and form your own opinion this time around.

Honestly… not the best food and customer service. We come to Conrads a lot because we’re just used to it I guess… We must love the slow customer service and the«okay» food. One of the employees named Charlie, is usually very attentive and friendly but i think he’s a little off. He’s a latino and speaks spanish so he’s always sharing his spanish jokes with us which can sometimes be innapropriate but ehh… Still makes us laugh sometimes. Charlie makes the best mojitos!!! Their french toast is too eggy! Their tuna melts are DELICIOUS! Coffee is wack! Very light and tasteless. I personally like their simple grilled cheese with fries. Their parking is awesome and usually theres a lot of parking since theyre never really full. The boss lady is always looking grumpy but is nice. Their restrooms are in need of remodeling but theyre usually very clean. They have a diner type feeling! Nice for night meals because theyre open late and always have the kitchen open till late.

I’ve visited here a few times in the past year. Its one of those old, classic diners. There is parking in the lot next to here but unless you park a couple blocks away there’s no street parking. Note that if you go during lunch, parking is going to be busy. I’ve only had a couple items on their menu and I really like their Corned Beef Hash breakfast. The Corned Beef Hash gets a nice crispy edge to it and the eggs and potatoes were made the way I requested. The Coffee here is pretty nice as well. This is really just a fancier IHOP but that’s not always a bad thing because I do like IHOP(they just stopped serving corned beef). I’ve eaten here and taken my order to go and the service has always been very friendly. I’ve been by once on a holiday and the other times I’ve been during lunch.
