DJ’s Sports Bar and Grill

I’m really not hard to please, if your nice and your service is adequate, I’m generally happy.
That being said. this is the type of place that if you are not a local you are not going to have an enjoyable experience. Everyone ELSE that walked in, the waitress knew by name which was cool but she didn’t make any extra effort to talk to us or even get our names. We are very social people, give us an in and we can talk to pretty much anyone.
I felt bad for the waitress because she was tending bar and waiting on tables all by herself so I would definitely give her some slack, but when we first came in the first waitress made no effort. We had to ask for menus and drinks.
Food: The wings were pretty good actually, pretty good flavor as well. The burger, better known as a ball of meat, was way overdone though.
Drinks: We had to ask for happy hour specials and even then we knew she didn’t really care. My husband, who is no stranger to strong drinks, had the strongest jack and coke known to man, and had to choke down an unbearable drink.
Finally, as a smoker I get that you might want to smoke during your shift… cool. However if you smoke right outside through huge glass windows in front of your customers, it leaves a pretty bad taste in their mouth.
All and all, experience not great. Probably not going back…

Decent local bar in Pasadena.
Inside is a medium sized bar, a handful of TV’s, dart room, and a bunch of semi-​close tables.
Food is standard bar foods (e.g. wings, fries). Liquor selection is average, beer selection is fair and mostly in bottle form but incredibility cheap!
Friendly service, and is mainly a locals — regulars bar with mixed aged clientele. 3 stars.

Music is usually too loud and if there is a game on it can get really really crowded. We like to come here for the trivia. Haven’t tried the food here so can’t comment on that.
