Frozen food reheated, over priced beer, only thing good about this place is a friendly waitstaff, I will never go back by choice.

Went here to grab a snack and a couple beers on my day off at 11 pm and online said that the kitchen was open till 1 am but I was told the kitchen is closed! I’m a bartender and server but when it’s advertised that the kitchen is open they should be making food

Came with a party of 12 and was sat in the way back. The restaurant was clean and overall very nice looking. My main issues with the visit was the menu. I have a hard time ordering an appetizer salad or burger for $ 15 at a chain sports bar. For some reason it just seems what to expensive. For a burger with tip my bill was $ 20.00 that just seems like too much for one person not to mention it kept me from ordering more. If the prices were reasonable I would have ordered more and spent even more then $ 20. The server was ok but seemed confused with the large party. She also asked if we want separate checks, we said sure as long as it was easy. We didn’t realize this would make all of our food come out at VERY different times, making eating together pretty hard. I’de love to give them at least 4 stars but at this time the menu really needs to examined, also why can’t they put prices on the bar menu!

Very good wings with EXCELLENT service! I believe our server said her name was Elizabeth and she was GREAT!!! She checked in often, bought refills before having to ask and had an awesome personality. You definitely have a keeper in her. I enjoyed the Hog Hammers Greene Turtle served last week @ the Polar Bear Plunge so wanted to go to my local Greene Turtle tonight and was absolutely pleased. Keep up the good work guys!!!

I took my daughter there on a Saturday night recently. It was a long wait but we expected that. I had the chicken fingers basket and fries, she had sliders and substituted fries for the onion straws. I enjoyed my food, very crispy. My daughter wasn’t a fan of the sliders, she thought it was dry. The service was good, our waitress was very attentive. I have been to this Greene Turtle before and have always had good experiences, I would go back.

Tried the new Salmon entrée tonight… pretty good and priced well for the portion size. The fries were very good. Green Beans, aka Haricot Verts were cooked nicely… if only the salmon were fresh not frozen. Bartenders are still great, Jess, Anette, Courtney, Chris, Maddie are all great.

Though we occasionally visit this location, we seem to leave disappointed. We rarely encounter prompt wait staff. At our last visit, the waitress seemed inconvenienced over me questioning if my order was correct. It was missing cole slaw and sauce. She finally brought out just the bbq sauce nearly ten minutes later. I let it go because it was getting busy. We dine with our children so we are always placed in the same zone. It’s borderline offensive. The prices are a tad high for anything other than a burger or sandwich. My husband and children enjoy going because of the atmosphere, but the service seriously needs an improvement.

The bartenders are fantastic, always remember your name & your drink. The Greene Turtle has some delicious drinks & a fun atmosphere. It’s clean & there are plenty of TV’s. The menu is typical bar food, not great, but not horrible. They offer a variety of wings & appetizers, which are decent. The burgers are pretty good, but I’ve had better. The salads & entrées are priced well, but there is something lacking in taste. The food would improve if they used fresher ingredients instead of prepackaged stuff. I go here more for the bar experience, not a food experience.

When you close at 1AM, you should probably have hostesses at 10:15PM to seat people. We waited up at the front counter for about ten minutes with no sign of a hostess. When we finally ventured into the restaurant(Thinking perhaps it may be seat yourself, even though there’s no sign at the front saying so), we couldn’t even find a waitress or waiter to talk to! There were about 30 – 40 people there, you would think they could at least have one employee walking around. Finally, after looking around, and lingering around the bar area looking for perhaps a bartender, we left out. If you’re just looking for food in Pasadena, do yourself a favor and head over to Two Rivers or Texas Roadhouse!

Draft beer compressor was broken; menu advertised a Monday-Friday happy hour, but apparently they don’t actually honor the happy hour«on Wednesdays;» they were out of the first three bottled beers I tried to order(even though I chose them off of their computer printed list); and then I was charged for one of the one of the beers I ordered and they didn’t actually have in stock. Had one overpriced beer and got the hell outta there without actually ordering the food I’d intended to order when I walked in. Yikes.

The food is Ok. Nothing special. I like the salad, the are normally fresh. My frustration is the service, they always forget something or prepare something wrong.

Bottom Line: Good drinks, ok food, decent service. First and foremost, The Green Turtle is a bar. They have some delicious shots, fun mixed drinks and a decent selection of beers. I can’t speak to their wine offerings. This particular location is a decent size. Both the bar and the dining room are a reasonable size. Also, they have a nice large, covered patio out back that is quite enjoyable during good weather. I find the food at The Green Turtle to be average bar food. I wouldn’t come here for dinner but I am totally on board for coming here to get buzzed. The beer selection is decent and to mix it up, Pineapple Upside-down Cake shots are yummy. Also, the new 64 oz. Hell-in-a-Shell mixed drink is fun but might knock you, and at least three of your friends(as required by Maryland law), off your a$s. Service in the bar is always good. Overall, TGT in Pasadena is a good enough time that I’ll keep coming back here to quaff beer.

Been here a few times, my buddy loves it and goes every week. Went last night and the food was good. I ate mussels which were good but a little pricey, $ 10.99/lb. Then I ate a dessert, monkey bread, recommended by our bartender and that shit was ridiculously good. I could’ve got diabetes and it would’ve been worth it. Then I ate the chicken tenders which I’ve had before and they were delicious. I ordered the hog hammers to go which I’ve had before also, but they brought it out to eat there and my buddy destroyed them. The hog hammers are divine. Meat just falls right off the bone and the sauce is fantastic. Service was good as usual, although we are turning into regulars which probably helps. Tons of tvs with sports and the tables have little tvs to watch what you want. I’ve only been to the bar area and the patio outside so I can’t attest to the table service. The outside patio has a bar and tvs as well as heat and tables. Plenty of parking also. Def going again.

Great place. The manager really cares about her customers enjoying their visit. This is my family’s go-to place for dinner and fun.

I have been here several times in the past year and I keep getting disappointed. The service is ok, but the food is overpriced and low quality. The veggie wrap contained no fresh veggies and was full of mayonnaise. I was asked if I wanted to substitute fries for chips and didn’t realize that it cost me $ 3 to do so. Our bill came to about $ 50 for a party of 3 with appetizers and drinks, and it wasn’t even that good! My husband had a crab melt and it tasted terrible. I won’t be returning any time soon.

We’ve been back a handful of times in the past month and have been pleasantly surprised with the service. Not sure if they are hiring better or we are just getting better servers. All prompt and friendly. Food is still pretty good. Ordered carry out one night and that was also very good. The fried pickles even survived the trip home in a good state.

We dined on the patio on a quiet Wednesday night. Service: Slow, but friendly. We had our 2 year old with us, which makes us a little more high maintenance than most. Atmosphere: The patio is really nice. The flies were a bit out of control and bothersome, but that’s part of dining outdoors. Food: The southwest chicken salad was good. Nothing special, but satisfying and fresh. Watch out for the pico de gallo. It is a bit spicy(in a good way for me). We started with the pretzels. They were tasty, but nothing I couldn’t get from a grocery store. The ‘cheese’ was just nasty. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals, but no wow factor here. The price is average. We had a family pay for our appetizers and first round of drinks when we dined. I’m looking forward to ‘paying it forward’.

As was said before in other reviews my wife and I waited what seemed like forever for our food. We both got burgers so it was nothing that should take too long. The service was just horrendous and this wasn’t the first time this happened either. Despite the bad service the food is pretty good and they do give good size portions. The drinks are of course great. I continue coming back to the Green Turtle, the location is great and the food is good. I just prepare myself for the bad service.

UPDATE: Its been over a year since my first visit and some things have changed: –The service has improved. I am unsure if it was just the first several months of getting a team together — or whatever; but, the location has definitely changed for the better. Overall the food(ticket times) are turning around a lot faster than before. This making the dining experience better since there is no extended wait for just a simple burger. Also, the music has gotten a lot better. I don’t frequent here enough to have heard every artist play; however, in the last several months in which I have each artist get’s better than the last. 4 stars.
