This is a 4 star only because I want to experience a 5 before I have a full range. The people who run this place are awesome. They are helpful. Knowledgeable. I make the best street carne Asada tacos because of this place. It rocks.

Nice people, good selection of Mexican goods and really great carne asada. Their carne asada literally saved our potluck barbecue. It was the best tasting offering there. –1 star for the so-so cleanliness…

Went here to pick up some carne asada and chicken for a BBQ. In the past I’ve gone to Baja Ranch market but I’m not a fan and feel like they overcharge and overweigh the meat. I was looking for a new place and so happy I found this. Meat was delicious and reasonably priced. Cheap and ripe avocados also! Will definitely be returning in the future.

I am actually writing this review as I’m eating because If I don’t, I’ll forget to emphasize how delicious their meat is! It’s a meat market but on the left side has an area where you can order all sorts of taco, burritos, tortas etc. I came in with my business attire and of course everyone was probably thinking I was lost lol. But no. I knew exactly where I was! Lol So I ordered a chicken and a beef taco. It came out within minutes. Grabbed a seat and chowed down! Don’t expect so much when it comes to cleanliness of the place. It’s not bad but also not like a high end place. It’s just a delicious local, hole in the wall place! When it comes to food I never discriminate. My palate is adventurous like me. I’m super glad I gave this place a try! I will be back!

I always forget to write a review for this carniceria I religiously go to!!! Lol if you all ever are looking for tender, yummy meat for your next cookout, BBQ, Carne Asada gathering, this is the place to go! I always find the best here! They don’t have much fish, but beef, pork and chicken they do! I buy it prepared already to save me the work, but have bought unprepared as well for bistec empanizado because I like seasoning that myself and yuuuuuum so tender and juicy! So go! I travel from Tujunga to this place, so it must be good. Enjoy! And thank you Elizabeth’s! Oh right, hence the name.

It’s a cheap carniceria with quality meat and a small grocery section. The butchers are quick and helpful and the cooked meat(carnitas, for example) always taste good. The meat area is clean, but the grocery section has lots of flies in the produce. It’s really cheap, though. I can never seem to spend more than $ 10. That’s only a problem because like many small businesses, there is a $ 10 minimum for credit cards.

I walked in here trying to get some fresh produce. It was kinda old and wilty looking. So I walked out. Too bad, cause I like supporting local businesses.

holy sh*t. this place really needs to invest in some of those automated spinning things that deter flies because this place has tons of them inside the store on the produce. pretty gross. I was about to get onions and cilantro here in addition to the meat but decided to go to another market after picking up some carne asada. Thank god the meat was inside a refrigerated unit. I got some of the marinated carne asada(uncut piece) for a bbq and those weren’t too bad. They cooked fast and had decent flavor/price. I also picked up some of the red hot sauce they had. It wasnt too spicy but good enough. Better than that tapatio crap haha Store environment 0 star(place isnt even air conditioned) carne asada meat. 4 star

This a great place to buy prepared carne asada and chicken for your weekend BBQ. I have never tried their prepared food but it looks and smells good. They have a nice selection of hot sauces. I come here to buy the El Yucateco XXX extra hot sauce(This is one of the only markets in Pasadena that I’ve seen this sauce for sale) and the El Maya Habanero sauce(Also hard to find in most markets).

So after a long night of celebration for the opening of the«World Cup» and having a few too many Tecates… I somehow ended up here!, how and why I don’t know *(but I assure you I wasn’t driving), anyways I’m in need of some tacos, this place does have a very small eating area but we opt for our food to go! Carnitas y Pollo — Carnitas — had a nice flavor and definitely the best of the four tacos I ate, tortillas were nothing special and salsa was OK. 4-Stars Pollo /Chicken — tender chunks nice flavor 3.5– Stars Carne Asada y Al Pastor — Carne Asada — was cooked OK but totally lacing in flavor and then this! I found two good size pieces of «GRISTLE» that were has as rocks… Asada Fail 2-Stars Al Pastor — Oh how I love Al Pastor, first off it’s PORK then it usually has so much flavor! :), notice I said usually… well this Al Pastor was unfortunately lacking in flavor, although the meat was cooked nicely it was just OK3-Stars Food here is just OK and since they have better tacos across the street at El Super Burrito I won’t be coming back here.

Went in this place looking to buy an onion. They had several choices(brown, white, yellow). They also have a fantastic meat selection… from seasoned beef and chicken to tripe, lengua, and queso fresco. Produce is quite varied with all the basics to some less popular items such as overripe baby bananas and a frozen section with Central American items such as loroco, nance, banana leaves for tamales, and jocotes. Typical canned goods section with all the regular stuff plus some familiar products for Central American peoples. Notice a trend? They also have a food place in which you can get SALVADORAN tamales(wrapped in banana leaves and FAR superior to any other kinds), pupusas and some other messican stuff like tacos, etc. Also, if you enjoy a quiet shopping experience, maybe this is not the place for you… they like to blast loud pop music in either english(Britney Spears) or spanish(Shakira) from the back room.
