This is a wonderful shop. I volunteer here regularly and know that the shop gets great items in everyday! There’s always a good buy. The merchandise is better than most thrift shops and priced to fly out the door.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! This is not a Goodwill or Salvation Army type thrift store. Due to their mission to fund Assistance League of Pasadena programs, Treasure Fair is constantly getting donations of upscale goods in excellent condition. Most of the items in the store look new and some even have the retail pricetags still on them. A great variety of items from antiques to collectibles and a lot of women’s clothing and accessories.

This little gem of a store is by far my all time favorite thrift store in all of Los Angeles. I always find neat little things here — pottery, vintage linens, old postcards, Frank Sinatra records, pink plastic knitting needles, pulp fiction, old Martha Stewart magazines, blue and white china, escargot pans. The shop is run by volunteers(most of them elderly women) from the Pasadena Assistance League. Proceeds are used to assist kids in need in the Pasadena school district. Here’s a secret: Several top estate sale organizers use the shop as their after-sale donation locale for unsold merchandise. It’s a treasure hunter’s paradise.

Neat little thrift shop in the city of Pasadena. Forgotten I had been here a while back. It’s not very large and it’s your typical small charity thrift store, with grandmother like sweet ladies working there. You’ll see some really old stuff, some cool vintage, few cool designer clothing & other odds and ends. I scored on a Dodger Jersey for $ 5., there was an Ann Klein jacket for $ 10 or $ 15, vintage, style that is timeless and in great condition — I didn’t get it :( I’d come back & give it a look around, it was decent and I love those old type thrift stores where you never know what your going to find, but it’s worth taking a peek. Parking located in the back.

Found a few items decently priced but most were too pricey. No vintage Pyrex or housewares on this outing. Staff was friendly but it took all three ladies to help a single client so I had to wait for several minutes to pay.

I have only been here once, but I can already add it to my list of favorite thrift shops! The staff is very nice and helpful(I don’t know why anyone would comment otherwise.) They have great, quality vintage items and low low prices! :) I didn’t come out with much since selection is sparse, but what I did get away with, I am very happy with! I will be back for the $.75 records as someone mentioned! Sweet deal! As someone else mentioned, the only qualm I have is the hours, I usually pass by and it’s closed :(

If you need plastic coathangers(10 for 50 cents) or rolodex cards or vintage office supplies, this is the place to go. As a student, I am always in need of 50 cent index cards from the Johnson administration and $ 1 Cold War era composition notebooks for class use. The men’s clothing section is usually lacking and picked over. A large collection of LPs(about 10 milk crates full) that have been filled with uninteresting material fit for the garbage heap for 75 cents apiece. However I did find an Ellington album behind the counter and asked the kind lady behind the counter and got it for 75 cents.

Sparse inventory, irregular hours and disinterested staff. No reason to go.

Yes, this place has some good stuff. But like with any of these types of places, you need to frequent often. Because they get stuff donated all the time. Prices are pretty good.
