Gosh I love this little store! My parents have lived in Paso Robles for many many years and I used to go here with my mom all of the time. The people were friendly. my mom was well acquainted with the clerks … if you need help with something all you have to do is ask :) Its a cute little store with a lot of items that you cant find at the regular grocery. When I visit my dad again I will stop by!

Friendly and knowledgeable, large selection, offered to order a bottle that they don’t normally carry. The store itself is dated but clean and orderly, something I look for in a small family run business. Since moving here we go in about once a month, good experiences every time.

I just had the same exact experience as «Candi B.» Two employees in the aisles, looked like they were doing inventory & chatting w/each other. I wandered aimlessly around and not once did they offer a «Hello» or «Can I help you with something?» There was me and one other person in the store so it’s not like they were really busy or anything. What’s more important? Organizing your shelves(they were half-empty anyway – very sparsely stocked store) OR greeting your customers and helping THEM? I have two chronically ill kids who are beginning a special diet. I could just order stuff online but thought I’d patronize a local business. Big mistake. If I’m not going to get any customer service, why bother? I’ll just order the items online(PR Health Foods actually did have the stuff in stock but the prices seemed too high plus I was too bummed w/their lousy lack of service) and will NEVER go there again. What a waste of time.
