We had the privilege of having our SASSY Connection W Broward at this amazing venue. The service was amazing and extremely accommodating and the food was some of the best food I’ve ever had! If you are looking for great food and service, this is the place to go!

Not a big fan of Cuban spots, but this place always gets me to change my mind. After visiting it once for a birthday event, I fell in love with it and been visiting ever since, every once in a while for dining dates with the wifey. Once you arrive, you’re greeted with a warm welcome whos happy to see you and seat you where you’d like, if you choose. Weekends are sometimes packed but there are availabilities, especially if you book ahead by phone by doing a reservation– which I highly recommend, especially with larger groups. Once sat, your server takes care of you all the way. Provides you with all that you choose to eat or drink and with a friendly attitude. One of the main reasons I don’t eat at Cuban restaurants is not because of the food, but because of the service– never friendly, and always in a rush for you to be turned over to the next customer. That’s why I choose this Cuban restaurant any day: friendly, helpful service all around and food tastes delicious!

Honestly, I LOVE the food here and I come here often with my family, but my most recent experience was not too pleasant. We waited about 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table and ask for our drink orders and appetizers. As she took our orders, since we were starving, we wanted to place an order for our main courses, but before I even placed MY order she just took my menu and almost took off, assuming we were done ordering. Overlooking that incident, we didn’t receive straws, our appetizers we ordered ended up on the wrong table, and there were BLACK pieces of plantains in our appetizers. Aside from all the negatives, the food here will never disappoint. My favorite dish is the pulled roasted pork, and it is THEBEST. And I also recommend that you ask for tostones on the side, instead of sweet plantains. I’ve given this restaurant a low rating due to their lack of friendly and competent service, but their food alone deserves 5 stars!

Great food, awesome service! My friends took me here when I visited them… The food was so tasty, I went back another night. Had A Mojito and Breaded Steak the first time and Ropa Vieja on my second visit. Portions are pretty big so go hungry or be prepared to take food home. Makes a great lunch the next day!

When in need of authentic cuban food with fast efficient service, Las Vegas is the place to come to. Every item ordered from the menu is delicious and tastes as if they have a little old cuban lady in the kitchen cooking up her tasty recipes. Upon sitting down, you are greeted by a friendly waiter in Spanish. They quickly delivery drinks and a basket full of toasted Cuban bread that is buttered. I will tell you the bread tastes so much better than it looks. We ordered a churrasco and a bistec de palomilla with white rice, black beans, and fried plantians. The churrasco was juicy and nicely seasoned. The bistec de palomilla was also very well cooked even though it is a thin steak it was still flavorful and tender. White rice and black beans went together beautifully and the plantains added the sweet balance. Las Vegas is consistently delicious, this is why they earn themselves 5 stars.

Really good food! I had my go-to dish Filete de pollo… very juicy & flavorful! Flan was delish too! Minus 2 stars for the roach i found in my water… makes me question how clean the kitchen is?

Service is good, staff are friendly and restaurant is clean. The food is tasty and there is a great variety of dishes. We’ve been to several different locations but this is one of the best. There is a good ambiance as well.

The staff was incredibly friendly and diligent, and the food was AMAZING. Which is good, because the portions were so generous. After our meal, we had a lovely conversation with the manager. If you’re looking for delicious Cuban food with a smile, check this place out!

Nice restaurant next to another Cuban place, and a Venezuelan place. It’s like restaurant row. Fried Yuca is «nasty» good, and margarita is quite outstanding. For dinner, got the flank steak with«maduros» and black beans and rice. Flank steak was below average, not much taste and greasy. Chimichuri sauce didn’t have much taste. Maduros had a raw taste to them, and weren’t very good. Black beans and rice were good. Overall, a little disappointed in the food. Service is good, and fair atmosphere. Food was just ok. Margarita was incredible and strong, and Yuca was amazing. There is no 3.5 stars and don’t feel strong enough to give a 4 star.

We has a group of about 20 people locals and out of town guests. Everyone loved the food, drinks, service and especially the Cuban coffee. I would highly recommend this location. We went to another one first by mistake and this one was much nicer looking.

Growing up in Miami I’ve always loved Cuban food! I discovered Las Vegas in North Miami Beach so was thrilled to find one in Pembroke Pines! Authentic Cuban food, full of flavor and a great price! I usually do the take out and stop in on my way home from work rather than dine in. 20−25min wait time so call ahead works and it’s always ready in time. I have a few favorites. The mariquitas are amazing! The perfect appetizer and massive! Tons of these long plantain chips and comes with mojo garlic sauce! I enjoy their pallomia steak, either as a sandwich for lunch or as a dinner entrée. Always cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Never dry or tough! I enjoy it with white rice & beans but my mom loves their moro rice mix. Another favorite is their chicken steak, again full of flavor, thin and a large portion! And my splurge option is their picadillo! The meat is so tasty! I could eat it often but it is a little greasy but let’s be honest that is what makes it taste so good! I enjoy it with white rice and tostones because might as well get the fried plaintains to complete the meal!

Cold food + slow service= disaster! We were all disappointed after frequently coming here for years. At least the manager made up for it.

Very good quality Cuban food at reasonable prices, I’ve eaten here a million times. Las Vegas is also good for large orders to go. I also like the fact that they count rice and beans as 1 side dish, not 2(I hope I’m not the only fat ass that appreciates this). Pollo a la plancha, vaca frita, chicharron de pollo, lechon asado, and mahi-mahi in the green sauce are all really good. The rabo was OK, not great. I also think the caldo gallego can be amazing one day and totally inedible another day, very hit or miss there. I really wish they would serve breakfast. I was craving Cuban breakfast for a long time and had to settle for Romeu’s Café. Now that Sergio’s opened, I have my craving satisfied, but they are definitely losing business by not having breakfast.

If you like Cuban food, Las Vegas is pretty decent for Broward County. Reasonable priced-chicharron de pollo is really good and so is the Sangria. Tostones are huge and take out is pretty quick. They are a hop and a skip from my house and also deliver which is very convenient. Restaurant is pretty clean.

The«manager» here is extremely rude, unprofessional and uses profanity on the phone with her customers. Her name is MIRIAM– at this location. Doesn’t return phone calls and is basically a loose canon. I used to give this chain a lot of business with my company– serving luncheons to many physicians in Broward County. Not anymore– She used foul language and hung up the phone on me all because I was requesting a simple copy of an invoice that SHE couldn’t reproduce. Terrible.

My Cuban boyfriend was craving some comfort food on a Tuesday night. Instead of driving down to Miami we opted to stay close to home and try Las Vegas. The one in Hollywood had left me disappointed before but I’m all about second chances. The restaurant itself is very clean and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food however is super greasy and lacked seasoning. The outstanding things we had here was the garlic Cuban bread and yuca. The chicken breast was dry and one of the culprits that lacked flavor. We probably won’t return especially with the all of the other Cuban places in the area, which is a shame because it is a nice restaurant. A lot of my friends really do like Las Vegas, so I think you should still give it a try for yourself!

The restaurant is open and lively. It can get rather loud in the dining room. The staff doesn’t speak very well English so some things can be misunderstood. More chances of the food being authentic though! I tried the ropa vieja here. It was a bit oily for my taste and a little on the salty side. The fried plantains were soft and not crisp. One of my friends ordered a cordalito and the server didn’t hear it at first so she had to reorder. The server did come back and check on us a few times. I think there are better Cuban restaurants around but this one is doable.

For good Cuban food in the Pines area, look no further! This is on the top of my list because the food quality is consistent, service is great, and they have lots of room, so chances of a wait when you’re hangry are slim to none. I love having the cuban staples here like pollo empanizado(breaded fried chicken breast), churrasco(steak), and masitas de puerco(fried pork chunks), but you really can’t go wrong with any menu option. Their rice and beans are absolutely delicious! To me, that is always the best indicator of how authentic a cuban restaurant is.
