this place is awsome! best pizza around. beautiful counter help… nice discounts on «specials» tuesday 3 sm. pizzas with a topping 13.99! love it there!

I’ve only been here a handful of times to pick up subs, but they’ve all been delicious and the people here are always friendly. I still need to try their pizzas and my all-​time favorite, a meatball sub.

When this restaurant originally opened, I heard nothing but good reviews. As a result, I was excited to try it.
However, I was saddened when I finally was able to try it. The delivery, admittedly, was fast which was a great thing, but that’s where the greatness ended. The Buffalo Mac and cheese calzone we ordered tasted like dish soap (seriously). It was also clear that the steak tips we ordered were rotten.
The only thing, in fact, that was ‘edible’ were the fries. Which would be really hard to screw up.
This review is admittedly harsh, but every. single. thing. we ordered from here wasn’t just ‘bad’ persay, it was near inedible. What is going with this place? Will it even be around 6 months from now? I know this is the last time I or anyone I know will be eating here.

Went here for the first time the other day. Ordered a spinach, feta, and tomato calzone. Loved it. Every other place I’ve ordered one from was packed with another cheese besides feta.
Although next time I’d ask for ½ their usual feta and more spinach I found my meal to be very satisfying. I had heard nothing but great things about Abbondanza from coworkers and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Food was hot. Dough wasn’t chewy. It had a great crunch with a soft interior.
If you’re in the area I would highly recommend you stop in for a bite.

1 star only because that is the lowest I can give. I cannot review their food because the would not bring it to me. We ordered delivery on a Saturday night (I know that is crazy right?) and we live on a dark street about 1 mile away (we know this because our catering company used to cook out of their kitchen before they bought the place). So on this dark autumn evening I watch the driver go to our neighbor’s house on the right and I go out and try to get their attention and they drive away. 10 minutes later the driver pulls into the driveway of the neighbor on the left and I go out and start waving my arms and trying to get their attention only to watch the driver drive away. I call the restaurant to tell them that the driver missed our house only to be accused of being abusive and the driver would not deliver to our house because I was scary and swearing. I did not start swearing until I found out they would not deliver the food that I ordered and even at that point I did not swear at them (despite what they claim) I own a catering business and work in I.T. and know what customer service actually means. Abbondanza does not have a clue what customer service actually is. They actually lied to me that another driver would bring our food. After waiting for a period and getting no food I had to call back to get the news that the one driver went home 15 minutes earlier afraid of me. So my take is avoid them like the plague.

Pembroke needed a good pizza shop and now we have one! Great pizza, friendly staff. Just did pizza but will be back to try the subs next time

By far the best pizza around. The sauce is sweet and delicious. The crust is so tasty. Chicken cutlet sub is perfect and the calzones out of this world. Recommend buffalo Mac and cheese pizza or calzone. Wraps are awesome too! This new spot has quickly become a family favorite.

The spinach and tomato calzone was great. It was light because the crust wasnt thick like alot of pizza places usually do it. (See photo)
Chicken kabob sandwich was good. Hubby said it had very good flavors.
