Pensacola’s hidden treasure! It looks unimpressive at first but just wait till you get your food! The red curry is mind blowingly delicious. The Pad Woon Sen is also unlike anything I’ve ever tasted! The Tom Kha Gai soup is a must. Get the Thai Tea too.

Awful food. I have had food from many Thai restaurants but this place has got to be the absolute worst. Yes, the service was very speedy but the food was bordering inedible. Stale ingredients, and the pad Thai was absolutely awful. Husbands dish was slightly better but not by far. Would not recommend.

Wife and I went here due to the great reviews we read. I’ll paint a picture of our evening. The parking lot was empty, other than a jalopy parked behind the building. We went inside and were not greeted by anyone so we weren’t actually sure if it was open or not but we heard pots and pans being moved around. We came around the corner and were face to face with three massive china cabinets filled with Furbies(I can’t make this shit up); I thought Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC was about to come around the corner and ask us to take a seat. A little older gentleman who hardly spoke english then came waddling out of the kitchen(he actually scared my wife, he resembled someone from the Walking Dead) and showed us to our booth. Although an initial scare, he was incredibly friendly! He gave us menus and we asked for waters. While looking at their menu(riddled with incorrect spelling, and even incorrect words such as «wild noodle» instead of «wide noodle» as if Steve Irwin had just wrestled a grizzly sized rice noodle in the back for our meal) we felt like we were being watched by all the furbies and many ceramic cats(the ones that constantly wave like they are pitching a baseball at you). We ordered the Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, and«Wild Noodle». The Tom Kha Gai came out yellow to my surprise and as soon as I tasted it, I asked my wife to tell me what the first thing that came to her mind was when she did the same; «Broccoli cheese soup» and she was 100% right. How the heck does a coconut soup end up tasting like cheese with raw vegetables? The pad thai and«wild noodles» were then served and I can say to this day that it was the most unpleasant meal I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. I am the least bit picky of a person, and have eaten«meals» out the dirt, and I would say this ranked up their with worst meals I have had the pleasure of forcing into my face. I’m sorry, but it’s going to be a no from me.

In Pensacola on the beginning of our vacation we had vehicle problems and had to wait for a rental. We weren’t hungry for anything big, plus it was hot, so we opted for Thai tea and appetizers. The steamed dumplings are great(OBVIOUSLYHANDMADE) and the soup I had was to die for. Wish we were hungrier and could eat here more often, but we have to be on our way to the Florida Keys!

Its my 1st time their and I love it. We had chicken pad thai, Beef pad thai, peanut chicken. all delicious. Owner is nice and I like to support family owned businesses. I like the portions as they were just right along with the prices. Very reasonable. Quiet so you can talk and enjoy ur meal.

Not to stereotype, but like a lot of Thai places, this place is hidden away in a strip mall. My friends and I arrived at 7:30 with this place closing at 8:30 on a Friday. We were quickly seated(the place wasn’t very full) and the one server/manager was very friendly. Our orders were taken quickly and I think everyone enjoyed their dishes. I personally was very impressed with my panang curry with chicken. The prices were very reasonable, with the most expensive entrée being $ 7.95. Food was good, service was pretty quick, and overall atmosphere was pretty nice. We even stayed a few minutes past the 8:30 close and the owner/manager wasn’t pushing for us to leave. I hope to try a lunch special here to update my review!

The soups were gritty. The tom yum kah had way too much fish sauce in it. The pad thai and curry were just ok. The staff was great though.

I was craving curry really bad after trying an amazing place so my expectations were really high. The food was ok. I got it to go and it came out quickly. The didn’t have brown rice as an option or steamed spring rolls just fried. Kinda of a bummer. Food was ok.

Great lunch spot and specials but come at that time and they are packed, under staffed, and the poor old lady is running around like a chicken w/her head cut off. Food is still good, egg rolls & red curry is a must try.

If you have had good Thai food from other parts of the country or even Thailand, don’t go here. I had the Pad See Eew and half of it was chopped cabbage that I had to pick through. Thai tea was good, that was about it. The restaurant is kinda dirty, wouldn’t go here again.

Not impressed, was so looking forward to the pad thai after reading all the reviews. But it was awful, soaked in vinegar. Spring rolls were soggy, fried rice was bland.

Cheap and decent. Not the best Thai I’ve had. I got the pad se ew with chicken and it was pretty bland to say the least.

Food was amazing! I love thai food and didn’t expect to eat good Thai food in Pensacola. Food amount was generous and flavorful! My personal favorite is the deep fried duck specialty with red curry sauce over it. Duck was just perfect with the red cury. And they gave us enough to feed 3 people! Mmm~ we also ordered a extra spicy green curry, and a extra spicy chicken pad thai. Pad thai, honestly, I’ve had much better. But their curries just have so much flavor!!! We ordered those three and a thai tea and a hot tea for 4 peoplw and we had quite a lot of leftover. Total came out to be around 38 with tax, and we paid 45 with tip. Very satisfied! Oh! The owner is working alone and waiting all the tables so he’s very busy, so it we had to grab him for more rice and stuff but it was understandable. It wasnt that bad that I’d take off a star.

If your looking for for mediocre cheap disgusting food this might be your scene. I am not sure how anyone can think this food is good, if so see a doctor for a check up from the neck up. I found it lacking flavor and taste and it was not authentic in any way. The atmosphere was awful as well. If you want a comfortable air conditioned restaurant with good Thai keep looking. This place looks like a knick knack shop with stuff everywhere and to cool you off they put small house fans on you. Never again that’s for sure.

Awesome little hole in the wall! I’ve been looking for a good Thai place to eat at in Pensacola, and this is my go-to when I’m craving! They have amazing prices that don’t break your wallet and good-sized portions! My favorite Thai dish that I get anywhere is the Pad see ew, which is basically stir fry flat noodles with vegetables and I usually like it with beef or shrimp. Bangkok Garden does not disappoint! Very friendly service and delicious food!

Awesome! Great service. Not a fancy place at all. Casual and friendly staff. The food is fresh and delicious. I dined in on the Pa nag chicken, Fresh ingredients all the way and just the right hint of spice. Then, I got an order to go. I noticed a fast food chain next door and wondered why someone would spend 5 dollars or more there when they could have delicious fresh cooked food for the same price. Prices are from $ 2.00 appetizers to 7.95 entrees. Lunches are Mon through Fri at $ 5.95. I just moved here from Orlando and I will make this a once a week stop after work for sure.
