Slow service and compared to others this Brazilian meat house is second rate. Had to be a reason there was a line at other restaurants in the area and no line here. You can get better but you can’t pay more. Bolter Bolter Bolter.

Ate there Saturday with my wife. It was her Birthday meal which was free. The steak and chicken wrapped in bacon was great. The salad bar has a good collection of salad items, fruit and hot side dishes. The price of $ 19 for lunch for all the food you can eat is great. Give it a try for yourself.

WOW!!! UPDATEREVIEW!!! We have had a family tradition of eating thanksgiving here for the last few years. Our family of 10 spent almost $ 500 this past thanksgiving including desserts, tax and tip and I have to say it was the WORST food I have ever had. Firstly, now they just drop the banana in the fryer. No breading anymore. Just a fried greasy mess chunk of soggy gross oily funk. Before it had a heavenly crust that would almost melt the banana inside. Well no more. They had no filet mignon on Thanksgiving. The dressing was the driest, oiliest«dressing» we had all had in out lifetime. We had someone at the table over 75 years old and they even said worst dressing ever. We told the waitress who sent the mgr over. The mgr just said it was supposed to be cruncy and oily. I told them to go get some STOVETOP and get rid of the croûton dressing. Dressing should be MOIST. Not so crunchy it almost breaks your teeth… Anyway. I can tell Rodizo is now on their last legs. They will not be open much longer and my family will not be going back again, ever. We sent father’s day here. Birthdays, etc etc etc. If you look at my reviews I even have a video from thanksgiving we ate there 3 years ago. Such a shame. PS. We are on the gulf coast, surrounded by seafood and they are serving«Brazillion catfish» aka BASA or some other foreign cheap fish. They used to use WAHOO and other good fish like that but all the cost cutting has caught up with them. I predict they will not see 2017! When you run off customers who drop the kind of cash we do, you can’t stay in business. Our waitress was awesome and did a great job.

I’ve come to this location in Pensacola, FL quite a bit. This restaurant is by far one of my favorites. They always have fresh food for their salad including amazing soups, breads, stews, roast, and amazing vegetables. Then they visit your table and bring all kinds of meats and grilled fruits like pineapple, each one was delicious and I couldn’t stop! My favorite server is Tara Angel, because she stays on top of things and after ONE visit, she remembered my preferred drink, and even altered it when my tastes changed again after ONE visit. That is A+ service.

Food was just OK, some items were better than others. We went during lunch so not as many choices as dinner, but still got a good sample of different meats. Salad bar is just a filler so don’t pile your salad plate too high! Ordered the Brazilian crème(strawberry coconut) — it was delicious; however, about 5 scoops in I scooped up hair… not impressed as it ruined my dessert experience :(

Very cool concept, but pricey. I still recommend that you try it. The salad bar alone is very nice and the staff is really friendly. Open attire. The food was delicious and fresh.

I finally got a chance to go to Rodizio when they were doing their buy-one-get-one(BOGO) deal for Veteran’s day(if you’re military, not just anyone). Basically, Rodizio was good, but not really anywhere close to other Brazilian BBQ joints I’ve been to like Fogo de Chao(insert city here), or amazing spots like Rei de Gado in San Diego, CA. My favorite thing about Rodizio was probably the grilled pineapple. My party and I were sitting right near there kitchen entrance/exit so we got first dibs on lots of goodies. The regular adult price is ~$ 32. Would I recommend coming here? Well, if you’ve never experienced Brazilian BBQ, then I’d say a soft yes. If you’ve been to delectable places like any Fogo de Chao, then I’d pass on it unless someone was having an event or there was a sale. Not only do I think the food is better at said places, but I’m the type of person where ambience is very important and I like when the people serving me meat on swords are Brazilian with awesome Portuguese accents. I mean, it’s cool when 19-year-old Joe Smith is hooking me up, but authenticity is a factor in meal enjoyment, in my honest opinion. Would you rather go to an expensive sushi joint ran by Mexicans or Japanese?

My family and I love Brazilian Steakhouses and while the coast is best for seafood, we like to take a break from fish and find ourselves some good old-fashioned cow during our beach vacations. Rodizio Grill fits the bill, but if you’re expecting Fogo don’t get your hopes up. The décor is nice enough, upscale but not too fancy for kids. The price point, by the way, is significantly less than Fogo or most of the others, so you get what you pay for. It’s good, just not great. Traditional salad bar options with all sorts of salads and some basic hot food options. The meat selection is good, but they really push the ‘lesser’ meats. Filet shows up on the floor every decade or so. During our visit it was ‘exotic meat week’ and there were some interesting additions. The one that comes to mind first is rattlesnake. Yes, rattlesnake. It was a sausage, and pretty good. The normal steak and chicken cuts were all flavorful and the servers were pretty generous. It just wasn’t as tender as other places and they didn’t come around as often. Again, it was less expensive, so I expected that. For dinner with the wife and kids on vacation — it was a great option to get away from seafood for a night and not break the bank.

I don’t want this review to come off negative. I took my wife here for her birthday per her request. The service was excellent. However something was missing. I expected a WOW impression having heard so much about the Brazilian steak house. I was not wowed in any way. The red meat items were flavorful and offered in rare, mid rare mid well. However Every other non red meat item was extremely over cooked. The staff was very attentive and professional in every detail. Great salad bar, but I came here expecting a great meat eating experience. Finally another issue I was disappointed with, they do not have or serve any vegetable. Sorry but I won’t be a return customer.

My wife and I chose Rodizio Grill for a late lunch. I had thought they were only open for dinner but thankfully not so. We had often thought of stopping here while passing by on the easy-access one way streets in both directions. We were totally impressed! We have been to Brazil several times and love Brazilian food. Likewise, we have been to several of the large-expensive Brazilian US restaurant chains… very good but pricey. This Rodizio Grill is the best… easy access and parking, great food(from the starter cheese biscuits onward, OMG), ambiance, service and prices… YES. P. S., I am always amazed that others will write totally glowing reviews and rate the place a 3 or 4 stars… duh…this Rodizio is truly 5 Stars! Go!

We had experienced Brazilian steakhouse style dining on our cruise this year and had found this place looking to do it again, we went here for my husbands birthday at lunch time last month, I imagine dinner is probably better as I didn’t get to have lamb,(meat at times was a bit tough but was cooked, better marinate, season, fixes that) they kept pushing some sausage to which I didn’t care for but otherwise we still enjoyed it for what it was, the ambiance was very nice, the staff makes this place, everyone so attentive and accommodating, for the most part food was good, the salad bars ok, but lacked some of the other more authentic fare I was hoping for, I do however recommend trying their fruits juices they are sweet but so good, we spent quite a bit of our bill just on drinks and we had a great time, thank you to everyone who made it an experience we won’t forget!

Very good food. Keep your salad plate small to make room for the meats. If you just go for the salad bar it’s worth it. The bar has some hot food items that are good to eat. I think the price difference might have been as much as 20 dollars. Check the website.

We are from out of town and have been to Brazilian steakhouses before so we sort of knew what to expect. Hostess was super nice. Feel like they may have been a little short staffed everywhere else tonight. We came for a birthday and the celebration was fun. But I do believe we were more excited than the staff. 4 out of 5 adults had a difficult time understanding our server as they spoke super fast. Some meat selections were good others were not. Soup needed some flavor. We did leave with full bellies.

We came here for my daughter’s 16th birthday; party of 7. To start off — we got the Groupon deal for my family of 4. It was a pretty good deal and included two bottles of wine. We also called earlier in the day and made a reservation; we were seated promptly. Staff was super nice during the entire stay. This was a very enjoyable experience. As for the food: the salad bar had some nice options. We only visited it once but only because we wanted to save room for meats! We got a table topper that had a green side and a red side. We left it on red while we ate appetizers & salad. We flipped it over to the green and instantly we had servers come one at a time, about 30 seconds apart, each carrying a different meat to try. They give somewhat small samples but don’t worry as there are so many to try that you fill up and larger portions would make you too full to try them all! We all agreed that our favorites were the top sirloin and a roast beef type that had a buttery sauce(can’t remember what they called it), and I was most anticipating the grilled pineapple which did not disappoint! It was my favorite of all! Overall, very nice atmosphere and very attentive and nice staff. Our waitress, Karyn, was super nice and never left us wanting. The reasons for 4 stars: I would really have enjoyed it if there was a little more of an interactive type of atmosphere(think of Brazilian steakhouse meets Japanese steakhouse with some jovial jokes, maybe a toss here & there, some occasional music & dancing) just to liven it up that extra step. Then again, maybe I’m spoiled by theme parks and character breakfasts! But that would’ve put this place over the top, in a good way! But again, it was a nice experience, no regrets!

I wanted to introduce my friends to a lovely Brazilian steakhouse experience, and Rodizio exceeded everyone’s expectations. I have eaten at much more expensive versions, but the service and quality for the price was above the rest. Everyone was so informative and attentive to our needs. If you flip the ‘green switch’ get ready to be bombarded by a variety of meats instantly. I read reviews that stated certain meats didn’t come around, but this wasn’t so. All you have to do is ask nicely. The ham and pineapple… yum yummz. We came hungry and a bit nervous and left highly satisfied. We hope the positive atmosphere and service stays consistent. ‘Til the next time~

Very good lunch with unlimited trips to the awesome salad bar, appetizers(fried polenta was delicious) and unlimited meat selection if you choose their $ 18.99 lunch special(drinks and desserts are extra). We were immediately greeted and taken to our table by Shawna, the manager. Our server was Alex, and she was very friendly, professional and always was nearby if we needed anything. The salad bar was well stocked, clean and organized. We never had to wait for the meat servers to come by and we had a good selection of chicken, pork, red meat, and linguica(Portuguese sausage). Everything was very tasty and I would definitely go back!

I’ve been to numerous Brazilian steakhouses and this one is pretty nice. The salad bar is a medium sized bar but offers some great items like shrimp ceviche as some amazing rice and black beans. They offer your standard meats that you’ll find in most Brazilian steakhouses but also had some bbq ribs and even brisket. I found that a bit odd but this is the south so it’s expected. The staff was courteous and very attentive. It’s not as expensive as other places I’ve been but I’d recommend doing the lunch for $ 18.99. Dinner is $ 32.99.

I like the fact that their menu is constantly changing. Tonight new item was a grill white fish and turkey wrapped with bacon. Skip lunch before coming so you will have room to try the different cuts of meat. They also have a small, bar side menu.

One of the WORST Brazilian steak houses that I have ever been to. I have been to Brazil and many in Texas and this one takes the cake. 1. It looks like a cheap diner inside. 2. Hostesses were very nice. 3. Took 10 minutes to get someone to greet us and order drinks. 4. Wine selection Sub-Par and ultra expensive. 5. Service slow and did not honor the red/Green cards for service. 6. Had very little of the selection that they say they serve(meat). 7. Keep pushing the chicken and pork something that was like shoe leather. Servers(Gaucho’s)? were surly and acted like they did not want to be there. 8. Servers were argumentative and after we made request for filet took 20 minutes to return, when they did they said they ran out(8:00 P.M.). 9. Salad bar was the best part. Unconventional for Brazilian Steakhouse but OK. 10. Bathrooms were industrial with huge rubber garbage can that were overflowing. We had 3 people and thought the price was way too high for the food, atmosphere and service. Nevertheless, we left a 22% tip and told the one good female server that this place was horrible. She agreed and said she was sorry. This is a shame, as there are better places to spend our money. Wanted to like this place. Locals said it was bad, but we thought we would give it a try. On top of this, 2 of us got sick later in the evening. Will NOT go back for sure.
