My husband and I had some custom made rings created for the big day, and unbeknownst to us, they were created a size too small. We were told by another jewler in downtown that he wouldn’t be able to resize them for us and even if he could he wouldn’t be able to do it for a month.
Eventually we decided to just go and see what the actual size of the rings were, and see if they were the wrong size, that way we could send them back to the person who made them for us if they were the wrong size.
We rolled into Gold Rush Jewelers and they were so kind and helpful, we decided to ask them if they could re-​size them, they said yes, gave us the different ways it could be done and then, did it for us within two hours!
Anyway, everyone that works there seemed very professional, courteous and honest. Super happy we went.

I am not someone whom usually reviews on Unilocal,but this time I felt I had to. I have purchased two rings at Gold Rush Jewelers and had great experiences. Not only are they local but they are a family business which I think is great. You can see the pride they take in their business. They have a large selection and are not pushy at all. In fact both times they recommended the lesser expensive ring. I recommend them to anyone who wants great service and a great price.

Love this store they have the best selection of jewelry that money can buy. I took my watch in to the store to have links removed and they did it right on the spot and it fit perfect. None of my family would ever go anywhere else. The service is fantastic.

I dropped in here at the last minute on a Friday afternoon while passing through Petaluma on the way up the coast. I was hoping to get my watch band resized but didn’t really expect them to do it. Even though they were already putting away the jewelry and getting ready to close, they were gracious and helpful. They fixed the watchband immediately and only charged me $ 15. Could not ask for better customer service! Definitely recommended.

The best of the best. I have purchased jewelry from Gold Rush (exquisite) and have had many repairs done on both my old jewelry and my mother’s. The repair work is phenomenal. It is done on-​site which is a big plus. It is done often the same day I bring it in. The staff is always very helpful and very knowledgeable. I was searching for a special gift for my mother’s birthday one year and I must have spent at least an hour looking, going and back and forth between two rings, changing my mind. Terri was SO patient and even helped me select the perfect ring. I will always go to Goldrush for all of my jewelry needs!!!

The staff at gold rush is more than helpful. We purchased my engagement ring from them and the staff there made the experience a memorable one from beginning to end. I went to Gold Rush Jewelers with my son to look at rings for his girlfriend. He’d already purchased a ring elsewhere and we were on our way back to Santa Rosa to return it because we thought the setting was plated and not solid sterling silver as represented. The birthstone rings at Gold Rush were all gold and beautiful but over my son’s budget. They gave him a catalog to look at and told him they could special order silver if he’d like. My son explained to the young lady behind the counter that he’d already purchased a ring but that he was unhappy about the finish of the setting. Zack Fabian overheard us talking about the ring and he asked to see it. He said it was stamped sterling and may just be tarnished from reaction to skin acidity. He offered to try and remove the tarnish (the ring was worn less than 2 weeks) which my son gratefully accepted. Zack brought the ring back with all tarnish removed. He then offered to clean and polish the ring while we waited which my son accepted. It polished up beautifully. All of this at NO CHARGE! We are not regular customers. I’d had them do work over ten years prior but they don’t remember me. It’s rare nowadays to receive this kind of service even when you’re a regular customer. Because of how generous they were with my son they’ve got customers for life.

Came in to have some repairs done on a couple of antique and vintage watches.
Staff is very helpful. Any work outside the typical battery replacement or cleaning is sent out to 3^rd party repair. They were able to have my vintage Longines wind up watch repaired. It was about 1 hour fast and hasn’t been serviced in maybe 30 years or more. They even replaced or re-​surfaced the crystal for free! Cost was around $ 150. I expected more on old watches. I was happy with that bill.
Brought another Waltham packet watch in that was over 100 years old. Unfortunately they were unable to repair it… bummer.
They even call when service is complete and ready for pick up.

I brought in a 1oz Krugerand recently. They had a look and declared that since it is not pure gold they could give me about $ 400 for it, or less than a ¹⁄₃ of the spot price at the time. The Krugerand is actually more than 1 troy oz because it is mixed with base metals for durability and even if they foolishly sold it for scrap they would be making a ridiculous profit.
Don’t let these people insult you. Any jeweler working with gold and offering to buy it from the public knows what they could turn around and resell it for. As another shop told me when I mentioned the story, some people will even cheat widows and orphans.

Stopped here on our way home from a trip for an emergency repair: my husband’s new Citizen watch — that had been sized by a well-​known jeweler in Vacaville the day before we left — came apart and a pin fell out. The people at Gold Rush were incredibly helpful and got his watch fixed right away with no issues!

I had a solid white gold toggle removed from a bracelet at this location. They did a nice job with the work, but they kept the gold toggle. Dishonest.

Took good care of me, didn’t provide services that was not needed. I received old jewerly from a relative who passed away, and gave me good advice and was honest about what they could do. Will definitely come back for future needs.

Just got my watch worked on and I am totally happy with the service and the lovely staff at Gold Rush. The work was done while I waited… it was easy to spend the time checking out all of the beautiful items in the cases. They are my «go-​to» for any repairs and or purchases from now on!

I received a watch from my father back east and I figured I would take it here because they are close. I had it resized granted my wrist is kind of small I picked it up and the face if the watch sits up high on the wrist. Basically they took out more links on one side than the other. I called them last night and told them about it and she was totally defensive saying the jeweler would never do that bring it in the morning at 10:30 when the jeweler is there. So I show up at 10:30 and the lady behind the counter is totally fricken rude, your arm is to skinny for the watch and that’s just the way it is, what do you want me to do? Really! Are you kidding me! I should have told them to fix it but I was seriously like what? Anyway took it elsewhere and they fixed it for no charge! It fits right and doesn’t sit wrong on my wrist. Never will go back there again!

Took a ring here to have the stone adjusted. The turn around was really quick, but when they handed me the ring, the stone was set crooked. I’m not a fussy person, but it is sitting on my hand at huge angle. I mention it to the guy, who looks at it and then tilts it a little before saying” no it’s not”. I tell him it is, and he then shows it to a woman behind the counter. She says «no, it’s just giving the illusion that it’s crooked». WHAT? She then realizes how ridiculous it is to lie about the ring, so she then says,“well, that’s as good as it’s going to get”. I pay just to get my ring and get out of there. The welding is so horrible, and it’s obvious they weren’t going to do anything to fix it. I will never go here again. Out $ 150 bucks and I have a ruined ring. shoddy work nd terrible customer service.
