Sandwiches were good, service was fast but the person making my sandwiches I think was trying to be just a tad bit too speedy. First I said I was ordering 2 sandwiches, a #6(meatball) on wheat then I didn’t get to even finish as she started right in with going to get bread, puts the provolone on it, goes to heat up meatballs then waits. I had to tell her I had a second sandwich but wouldn’t she like to know what I wanted on the meatball sandwich? One of the other items i wanted on this sandwich was parmesan, and I told her to keep the provolone on the bread but to add parmesan. She actually started taking the provolone off. I had to stop her and explain that you leave it on, you take out the shaker of parmesan and shake it on the sandwich. Then I had to tell her a 3rd time that I had a 2nd sandwich. Strange thing was she never asked what size sandwich I wanted. I mean they have 6″, 9″ and 12″ but for both sandwiches she just assumed I wanted 6″ sandwiches — which I did but you should asked before you just assume(and I know we all know the saying about assuming!). All-in-all, despite the sandwich maker not asking sandwich size, if I wanted the sandwich as listed or anything extra, the sandwiches were still good.

Short line, but took almost 15 – 20 minutes to get my sandwich. Lady making my sandwich had no idea how to make it, even though it’s a «signature sandwich.» Half the stuff in the sandwich was wrong and I was missing items that I paid for when I got home. Would not recommend to anyone that doesn’t have a half hour to spend or wants a quality sandwich.

If I had known it was going to take 15 minutes to make my sandwich and a coworker’s — half of our lunch break — I would have gone next door to Habit Burger. The line/ordering/paying process is awkward, too. Who’s next? The people waiting in the line at the counter or the people in the line behind the rope? Does the line begin to the left or right? Who exactly is next? Where is the register, where do we pay? Togo’s was my coworker’s choice today. I’m a Subway fan.

I am NOT usually impressed by staff who try to engage while working, especially when it is your order they are working on! But this place is different in that you feel a part of the process, and you are asked first and no one assumes anything! You are also being taught along with the newer staff! And this gives you more feeling of what goes in to making your experience unique. Yes I am in major like of this place because. When you are welcomed and made to honestly feel welcome, you have to admire the one on one, and believe me, you will!

Love the food! And staff is friendly but this isn’t the fastest togo’s so I would suggest ordering online.

I’m giving Togos 4 stars because the sandwiches are bomb! But… i think there might be a management issue. The girls who made our sandwiches were so nice but when I asked to add pastrami or avocado they asked how many ounces or scoops… i had no idea how to answer. The menu says«Add meat or avocado for $ 2.» Seems like the management might be too concerned with costs and confusing the staff. Other than that, and it taking a while for them to make 2 sandwiches I would give 5 stars because the food is seriously delicious! Glad they are back in town just hope they bring in some better training/management for the staff.

Somebody last December complained about the COLD bread, well me too SIXMONTHSLATER. Gooey, cold, like just out of the fridge, disgusting, I’ll have this lump in my stomach for the rest of the day. Shall I guess that the manager AGAIN will get here on Unilocal and be all apologizing and sorry, and speak with the staff, like he did last DECEMBER. Well, be condescending all you want, I won’t be back.

My sandwich tasted pretty good so I added one star. The line and way you order is confusing, no one knows what to tell people so as I’m waiting in line at one entrance someone is coming in the other door ordering at the register(Add another stanchion to funnel people into where they order). Really took a long time to order and get a sandwich. I understand it’s new and new employees, but the manager needs to speak up, he seemed timid and didn’t know what to do or say to his employees and the customers. I’m sure I’ll be back. Hopefully next time they will get the bugs worked out

Great food, and worth the price. I do not see how subway stays in business with a togi’s around.

We’ve tried twice to get sandwiches from this Togo;s. Twice. Walked out both times with nothing. Ordered online, THEY tell us what time the sandwiches will be ready, we show up… «oh…we about to close» Not, «WE’RECLOSED» but«we are ABOUT to close» A loser manager and a 13 year old runs this place. They about to close permanently, I hope.

Very friendly service. Quick to respond. The sandwiches did not have a lot of meat and veggies in them. The bread is a bit overwhelming. The place was very quiet. We ordered the Cuban and the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse had two pieces of bacon and two slices of Turkey. The bread was a little dry. Paid an extra $ 1.50 for a scoop of avocado.

The pastrami was delicious, and the sandwich preparer was nice. But there were a couple of things during my visit last night that will have me avoiding this Togos for awhile: 1 — The sandwich preparation was poor. In particular, the bread was cold and she forgot the cheese. Once she remembered the cheese she kind of poked it sideways into the already overstuffed sandwich. The result was a sandwich with too much pastrami, not enough veggies, on cold bread, with stuff — mostly cheese — hanging out all over. It was tasty, but a mess to eat. 2 — A few minutes before I left, someone — maybe a delivery guy, maybe a manager(he did not appear to be wearing a uniform) — brought about a dozen loaves of bread from the back of the shop to the counter. From the customer side of the counter he began placing, or heaving really, the loaves onto the counter. He dropped two of the loaves on the floor and left them there for some time — long enough for me to think to myself, «Holy cow. There are two loaves of bread sitting on the floor there in front of me. That’s disgusting.» Granted the loaves were wrapped in plastic, but still, you should never, ever let things like that happen — and especially not in front of customers. I probably won’t be back.

On second visit, review now becomes 4 stars, as the 7 sandwiches ordered this visit were all really exceptional. My initial visit was kinda bumpy, but I did return to test it out and I am glad I did it.

Ordered a nine inch salami sandwich. The lady puts 9 slices of salami on the bread with my lettuce pickles onions mayonnaise and deli mustard. I ask if she can put some extra slices of salami on there and I’m told it would cost me 30 cents a slice extra. Sorry, but I’d like to have more food than bread to eat. All for 7 dollars and some odd cents. I’ll tell ya, subway’s more generous with their meat. Now the real kicker… got home, started eating and I start getting these stands in my mouth. Well guess what, the wrap was not taken off the salami all the way, so now I had to take all the salami slices out individually and take off the wrap. So if your ever hungry and need dental floss, you can hit two birds with one stone ordering a salami sandwich here at Togo in Petaluma.

I’m not too sure what these other reviews are talking about, this place was great! Went in there about 8:45 tonight and left extremely satisfied. We called in our order and by the time we got there, it was ready. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches were perfect! Put together amazingly, didn’t fall apart at all. This place deserves some better reviews, it’s great.

Where do I begin, the whole experience was bad. These girls were not trained properly and I would guess this is the owners first food business. Horribly made sandwiches, all three fell apart. But when I saw her swipe all that was left on her sandwich board onto my plate I couldn’t believe it. I told her you were not supposed to do that, she looked at me like I was an alien. The supervisor had to speak to the two sandwich makers in Spanish, which is really rude and unprofessional. $ 32.00 for lunch I expect a little more. When the Tarr’s owned Togo’s it was always good. This store has no standards. The one star is for the sore being clean. Three doors and two have hand written signs that say exit. If you want a good sandwich, Lucchesi or Bianchi’s they know what there doing.

Walked in with my family to have a sandwich kinda funky setup for a line, I was waiting to order looking at the menu sandwich guy said whose next I came forward knowing I was next the other customer acknowledged it, the sandwich maker proceeded to tell me we’ll that’s not where the line is with a rude attitude, I ordered my first sandwich a large, he cut it wrong noticed because customer next to me had a large but size was substantially different, then I waited and waited for him to find the chipotle sauce with a lazy pace my wife and I were done at this point and canceled and walked away, personally that day that crew was lazy and rude.

I love Togo’s and am so stoked they are back in town. This was one of our ‘go-to’ lunch places when I was in high school. Had the pastrami sando on sour dough and it was as good as I remember. Watch out Subway… there’s a new fast-sando shop sheriff in town.
