Evie’s Nails and Spa

I live in VA but I was gonna be in Philly for the weekend so I looked up a nail salon close to where I was going to be. Evie’s Nail Salon came back with the highest rating. My niece and I arrived at the Salon a little after 11. There were three people waiting when I got there so I expected to wait. This place is definitely worth the wait! My nails turned out GREAT! I got a gel manicure and my niece got a regular manicure. Vi did my nails and added a really cute design! I definitely recommend this place and will return next time I’m in town! Thank you Vi, you were awesome!

I am an Evie’s believer! My dear, super glamorous friend Adela recommended Evie’s, and her nails are always on point so I knew I had to try. Well I’m pretty thrilled that I did because I definitely found my new spot. From the outside Evie’s looks like a basic bitch nail salon but inside it’s definitely the cleanest and nicest around.
Their pedicures rival any other I’d ever had. They include hot stone, hot towel, dead flesh buffer, ect. and only cost $ 20. For my nails i decided to try SNS which is basically a natural less gross alternative to acrylic. Well they turned out amazing and I’m pretty sure I will get SNS nails until my dying day. Vi hand drew a super cool design. That lady is beyond talented!
I also got waxed here and found that to be just as excellent as the other services. Evie’s has a private waxing room which is always nice. Who wants to be gazed upon whilst being defurred? Not me.
These ladies are super sweet, talented, and total perfectionists. I will most definitely be back!

Came here on a recommendation by my grandma /​aunt & i am beyond pleased! Got my nails done by Evie the owner. I did make an appointment which was a good idea because they are a very busy salon! She was friendly, professional, and did a great job with my mani/​pedi! Thank you Evie!!!

I found my new nail salon! We just bought a house very close to this shop so I figured I’d give it a try. So nice! They did a really great job! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I will be back!

Vi is the best! She does an AMAZING job on my nails every time and they always last me at least three weeks. She also does amazing with my brows! Such a cute salon.

I will use this shop again. I don’t live in the area but it was close to my job. My only pet peeve is when she used the machine to remove my old gel polish vs soaking in acetone.

I must be picky because when I read the reviews, it sounds like a fantastic place to go. I haven’t been to too many nail salons but I find Evie’s to be ok. Evie seems to be the best there. I find that the girls are rough. One girl cut my big toe nail without checking if the skin underneath was close so that was cut and hurt for a few days. Doesn’t seem like they know nail shapes all that well either or how to keep them all the same length. Positive is that Evie seems to be the one that cares the most to do a good job. Negative is I can’t find much better out there yet…

Staying in PA for grad school, and wanting to just take a rainy afternoon to get my nails done, I looked on Unilocal and was amazed at the reviews for this place. It’s surprising to see a nail salon get 5 starts (I think I was a bit skeptical because I’m from NY and sometimes I am «snooty» about quality in other places hehe ^^;) But really– I walked in and it was extremely clean, and it had a very relaxing environment, didn’t really smell like all those crazy chemicals that happen in a nail salon. Vi was just– amazingly sweet! I always get stuck with what I would want for a design or color, but I liked this one fall-​esque sparkly one and she just boom boom boom picked another color to put as a base and did this awesome design (I literally asked her can you do a design I have no idea what though– and she delivered!) She was quick and we had a lovely chat together– felt like she was a friend I’ve known for some time! She took a picture at the end– which she probably will post later. I am amazed– thank you Vi for taking care of this grad student away from home! :)

Let me start by saying that this place was highly recommended by a good friend of mine. I drive ½ an hour to get here but it was absolutely worth the drive. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by each staff member. In an unusual manner, I had no idea what to get. I’m usually prepared with photos I find online. The owner, Vi, was so sweet and sat with me while we discussed colors and designs. I explained that my nails needed to be amazing as I was taking my engagement pictures in the morning. She did such an incredible job. My pedicure was flawless, even included a hot stone massage. I also noticed that the staff only spoke in English, which I think is a nice gesture, even though I never personally mind when nail technicians speak in their native language. Every person that entered while I was there, appeared to know the staff and had nothing but great things to say about this place. Overall, the atmosphere was very clean and calm and lastly, their prices are great! Needless to say, I think I have found my new favorite nail salon.

New. Clean. Affordable. Great pedicure and tons of color choices even for gel! Def. coming back!

At the suggestions of my good friend I visited Evie’s shop. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the décor and brand new EVERYTHING. Upon my arrival I was treated extra special since this was my first visit. I was shocked at the amount of gel color available. I loved the massage chair and music. I received a gel mani and pedicure. Price was cheaper by paying cash. Service was impeccable and will be a continued customer. I have received so many compliments on my nails and toes. She will not disappoint and worth the visit. 5***** for sure!

I have been here three or four times since my last review and can finally attest to the fact that this place is excellent. The technicians are so sweet and the owner, Vi, makes her customers feel like they’re family. The salon is super clean inside and they are always stocked with different colors of polish.
In addition to nails, they do eyelash extensions and waxing and have private rooms for these services.
If you live in Huntingdon Valley, Abington, Cheltenham, Northeast or North Philly, I highly recommend the drive for the excellent service you will receive.

Love this place ! From the owner, to the service and its location… I feel welcome every time I walk through the door, they always do a lovely job and I am always pleased with the outcome. The pedi chairs are wonderful and a wide variety of polishes to choose from … Clean/​Afforable and Friendly! HIGH Recommended making an appointment !

Have been going there since they opened. The 1^st 2 times to have my eyebrows waxed and the 3^rd time for a mani/​pedi. I must say all 3 times the service was great although the 3^rd time was a bit packed so I had to wait for a bit but it was well worth the wait. I will definitely be going back :)

Great place. It’s VERY CLEAN! Helen does great nails and I have heard that all the other people that work there are great too. I also had a pedi done by a guy, I don’t know his name, but it was GREAT… I WILL BE GOING BACK.

I went to this extravagant nail salon the other day and it is, by far, the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. The décor is stunning & the staff members are extremely professional and friendly. They even offered me water while I was getting a pedi b/​c it was such a hot day. The message chairs that you sat on during your pedicure were amazing! They did such a great job on my nails and will definitely go back in a few weeks for a refill and another pedi! High Quality nail salon!

I have been going to Vee for years! She is the best! She now has her own shop and it is beautiful. I wish her the best with it.
You feel completely pampered after a visit to Vee. She does amazing work and her prices are extremely reasonable.
