You are probably coming across this review as you search for an inspector while buying a new house. That’s what I did when looking for an inspector, too. I felt compelled to write this good review after receiving an outstanding inspection from Gary(owner/inspector) of Fair & Square. We were referred to this company by a friend who also used him for an inspection and had nothing but good things to say. Gary’s daughter is a nurse and son in law a firefighter, so he has done inspections for those circles. He did our inspection as we were in the process of buying our first home. Home buying is an overwhelming and expensive time involving the use of a lot of vendors and inspectors. We got a few quotes before selecting him as our inspector, and found his price to be very fair and competitive. Gary is extremely detail oriented and careful with his work. He pointed things out to us while he was in the home and explained things in a way I could understand. He answered all of my questions. The report he generated for us was very thorough and had photos of various findings and explanations included. He found several items of concern in the home that we would have been unaware of had we not had the inspection. We presented to the seller and asked them fix the issues prior to the sale. This saved us thousands of dollars and future headache when we bought the house. Working with Fair & Square was a pleasure and I would recommend this inspection company to anyone. Gary was very nice, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We have a 3 dogs who he was sweet to and worked around ensuring they didn’t get out of the house as he worked. I know he works all over the valley from Desert Mountain houses to homes in the far east and west valley. Glad we picked this company
