Great food. Not so great service. The restaurant was half empty on a Saturday afternoon when our party of 6 came in to eat. We were told there was no where to seat a party of 6 together and that we would have to sit separately… So we left. If you only have one table for larger groups, you don’t seat a party of four there when the rest of the place is empty. Not sure we will go back.

We found Sopper’s on Unilocal while having a Saturday family trek day. What a great find! We all had the Tour of Greece(gyro meat, greek seasoned beef strips, chicken souvlaki and pork shish kabob) — what a luscious meal!

The meal and service were very good. Wife had the salmon and I had the the Greek sampler. Both were excellent.

We were on an October drive to look at the changing leaves and decided to stop for lunch. We stopped here on the strength of the Unilocal reviews and were not led astray. The food was very, very good. At a little after 2 on a Saturday afternoon, we were the only people there when we walked in, although two more couples came in while we were eating. I had the fried chicken, which was strips of breast meat battered and perfectly fried, served with mashed potatoes and a good gravy. My husband had the Chicken a la Venice, which was a chicken breast with onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and cheese, also excellent. The service was friendly and efficient — and fast — and we had a very pleasant meal. The only problem we had was trying to decide what to choose from the interesting and widely varied menu. We’ll just have to go back.

It took awhile to get seated which was fine. I was starving and ordered Fettuccine with shrimp. It came out barely warm with no taste. I was starving so I ate it. My husband had a Greek dish and he liked his. I don’t think I would go there again if I stayed in that area again.

Traveling on a family vacation we wanted something non-chain off the interstate and we were pleasantly surprised. The first thing we noticed was the reasonable prices. My wife and I both ordered the special which included a filet and choice of chicken scampi or shrimp. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and my chicken was fantastic. The kids meals included homemade chicken strips and fresh fruits and vegetables. This was easily the best meal of our vacation so far.

Small town, great food. The place does not look promising inside or out. Workers are friendly, food excellent. Try the Japanese chicken. They had a bit of everything, Italian, geek, traditional American… etc

I went to Soppers with my boyfriend for dinner. Neither of us have been to pilot mountain before. When we got to the restaurant we were seating right away with great service! I got the chicken fiesta entrée– rice was a little watery and I had to ask for ketchup to add flavor to the plate. My boyfriend got the filet mignon(super cheap price) — he thought it was delicious! Cooked perfect. For dessert we spilt the strawberry cake which was tasty. No alcohol served there– so bring airplane bottles :) overall for the money and location this place was worth the visit. Excellent service.

For small-town, Pilot Mountain, this is probably the best place to eat in town.

Never had a bad meal at Soppers. They have a little bit of everything. Burgers, Italian, Greek and meat and veggies. And the strawberry cream cheese cake is delicious.
