I wouldn’t recommend this place. I ordered tilapia fish, and it tasted like it has been frozen for years, just awful, the service is very courteous but the food is horrible.

Generous portions, reasonable prices, good area with a good interior setup. This place also has a huge menu with plenty of options! Personally I’m not a fan of eating breakfast from restaurants, but this place nailed it. Keep up the good work!

Me and my friend came here for dinner and I did not have a good experience here. Every glass at my table was dirty it was just disgusting. My waitress had a horrible attitude as well. I asked for a lemonade and she brought it to me in one of their dirty glasses so I asked for a coke instead. When my coke arrived it was in a clean glass but was so flat I couldn’t drink it. The waitress never checked on us until we asked for the bill. She’s lucky my friend payed for the tab and not me because I wouldn’t of given her a tip.

Was out early on saturday morning so we looked for a quick place for breakfast. We were blown away by this establishment. Warm fresh donuts while you are checking out the menu! Food was perfect and plentiful. Our waitress Diana Q. Could not have been more helpful. She really made our experience so enjoyable. Will definately be going back very soon. Great selection.

If you are looking for an extensive breakfast menu and to notch service then this is your place! If you are planning on heading there on a Sunday morning, come early or plan on waiting because this is a popular location.
I will say that I had a hard time deciding on which great delight that I would try out from their expansive menu. The good news is that I had a free warm donut to help me make my mind up! I decided to get their omelette with avacado, bacon and mushroom. It comes with a side of salsa and sour cream plus your choice of pancakes or toast and hashbrowns or skillet fries. So much food! I would recommend sharing otherwise you will probably have leftovers. My friends both tried skillets and they looked delicious. My meal was great!
The service was top notch. Our coffee cups and water glasses were never empty!
If you come, bring your appetite. You won’t regret your trip here!

First time at Plainfield’s Delight. Recommendation by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. My friend had the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad, which came in a huge bowl filled to the top with romain lettuce, grilled chicken, toasted pita triangle, pecans and more. I had the patty melt — on recommendation by the helpful waitress. The patty melt was cooked to perfection and came with an abundance of grilled sweet onions. The chicken noodle soup was delicious and unexpected since my meal came with a large helping of tasty French fries and bowl of cole slaw. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the delightful hostess greeted us as if we were regular customers. We’ll be back soon with a five star rating for the caring service, generous portions and delicious food, and the money it cost us. Next time, my friend and I will try the Greek specialties.

My husband and I have been going here for years!!! Their food is always awesome and when my parents come here from out of town, we order breakfast to take home to them and they just love it as well. The reason for the 5 stars… HAVE YOU HAD THEIR FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE??? OMG!!! It is to DIE for. It tastes like orange juice from off an island somewhere it is so darn good! This place is PACKED every SATURDAY and SUNDAY morning like you wouldn’t believe… Even when it snowy and cold outside… There is a reason for this… keep up the good work Plainfield delight. And for those of you that say you won’t be back… give it another shot!

I’ve been here quite a few times and I have never had too bad of an experience since I continue to come back.
I’ve tried them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant is pretty spacious and nice and bright. If you go on the weekends be prepared to wait.
I’ve never had a complaint when it comes to my food. Good size portions, a variety of meals and their dinner specials are pretty good. This is your typical diner, serving comfort foods and a few Greek dishes. I’ve stayed away from the Greek food but everything else is good.
My only complaint is that at times the service is a bit on the slow side since it seems to me like the servers are given way too many tables. I’ve had to sit waiting on my check, or with an empty beverage before I even saw my server. Other than that I like this place. Kind of embarrassed to admit it but I am a fan of liver and onions and this place makes a pretty yummy one.

Overall this place isn’t bad. Saw some promising things on the menu, and also the inside and service is nice. I got the Athenian chicken, and I can’t complain lol.
Now here’s the reason for the 3 stars: my little sister ordered from the kid’s menu, and being the kid she is, ordered the Mac and Cheese. Now to be fair, the menu did clearly say KRAFT Mac and cheese, but the price was $ 5.99. So I just assumed it was just the cheese that was Kraft. But no, they charged us $ 5.99 for not even a full box serving of Kraft Mac and Cheese (and yes, by Kraft Mac and Cheese I mean the ones from the box). I’ve never been so ripped off at any restaurant in my life. It’s ridiculous. If you’re gonna serve a dollar-​something Mac and cheese from the box, at least charge me a decent price, not $ 5.99.
However, this doesn’t ruin my experience for the place. Next time I come, I’ll just know (and hopefully you will too) to NOT order the kid’s Mac and cheese. I’ll definitely try it again.

Well oiled machine. Food is pretty good nothing totally spectacular. Amazing service loved the donuts. Sausage patties taste just like McDonald’s. This place is a standard breakfast place and will definitely fulfill all your breakfast needs here in Plainfield! The service has always been great as well, though I don’t think we’ve had the same server twice! Lots of employees!

yummy doughnuts when we first got here. the service is so fast and the food comes out so warm. I’d have to say the feta omelette is a little over powering. but over all the food is very good and very filling. my favorite place for breakfast in plainfield!

Didnt see any free doughnuts. Must be a weekday thing. Came in on a Sun morn w/​a very large group. No reservation as this was not planned, just a spur of the moment thing. They seemed worried, as a group we assured them to take their time, we know they had other tables and we werent going to have any unreasonable expectations. Well, it turned out gr8. Our group was split into several tables but, not together but, hey its mid Sun morning. We were lucky to get seated! Service was very good! Food was hot, tasty & well prepared. Their prices are on the high end for meals (hence, not a 5 star rating) but they were fantastic across the board! Worth the stop! Solid!!!
